This song corresponds really well with bluegrass. I bet Avicii is watching from heaven thinking "this is amazing". Rest in peace, Tim. ❤

This cover reached deep down inside and brought out incredible emotions. Love bluegrass and love, yet haunted by, the original. Thank you. 🖤

Try the rendition by HOME FREE. They are an A cappella group of five guys.....no instruments, but their sounds and harmony are "money"!

To be quite frank: the Avicii original is basically a Bluegrass song with EDM instrumentation. Which is not a bad thing, but that's why the cover works so well!

Why do you say "Wake Me Up" is basically a bluegrass song?

Hahaha Every time I hear it I think ‘that would be killer on a banjo’!!! Love the song in any version.

David Stifler Nonsense. It's far from bluegrass.

Not really. The breakdown doesn't sound bluegrass like, but the rest of the song easily works as a folk song. It's certainly not "nonsense" that it could converted to bluegrass/folk. (Also, the original comment was 2 years ago lol)@@MrRazorblade999
