Wow, thanks! Really appreciate that!
thanks so much for the video Jimmy, James and I always enjoy your morning "visits"! Have a great weekend.
Thanks guys, hope you both have a great one too!
The guy with the Honda should go buy a lottery ticket. Great save on that car….
Thanks very much Mike!
Have a great day Jimmy. Thank you!
Thank you too James!
Glad to see the timing chain and cam repair went well. Great catch on the Honda oil and coolant leak. If memory serves me you will be on a cruise next week. Hope you guys get some needed rest and enjoy yourselves. Thanks
Thanks, will do Robie. Really looking forward to vacation and a recharge! I have lots of videos for the week I'm off though! :)
I would be sick if that was my new Toyota and it had been wrecked. My experience is that they are never the same. Have a great weekend.
True. I have seen some great repairs from the body shop next door. :)
Thanks!
Hopefully completing that Honda helped your week get close to 65 hours for the vacation money. Busy day today!! Enjoy your weekend
Ended up at 54, not bad at all. :)
Dam good job today big Jimmy. Sam
Really appreciate that Sam!
I used to set valves on big ship engines 16 cylinder and 24 cylinder submarine booster engines called Waukesha and 399 cats and white superior engines , every 1000 hours , that took all day , if the engine wasn't rattling on any cylinder that meant our exhaust valve seats were wore out , I still have an intake valve as a door stop its foot and a half long the valve face is 6 inches , ah the good old days .
Man that sounds really cool and like a lot of work too!
Thanks for the video Jimmy!
You bet! Thanks you!
Hi Jimmy Happy friday, Will their be a c10 truck video this sat or sunday?
Yes Eddie, have one for the morning on the 19th! :)
Day in da shap! Seeing Friday's video before Mondays is trippy 😅. Cheers Jimmy!
Hope you enjoyed it! Gotta take care of my peeps, haha!
I don’t think it was the oil pan gasket on the Honda. I bet a weeks pay it’s the oil filter adapter orings
I'm not taking that bet let's just say. ;)
It is fixed though.
There is that nasty shop towl again😊
lol
Im surprised that the internals on the Honda are gold anodized for some reason.
I think that is oil staining?
Another great day in the shop. Have an awesome weekend Jimmy!
Thanks, you too Scott!
Buy a used "As-Is" 12-13 year old car with 175k on it and expect to not do any work on it 🤣 And that is why I am not a used car dealer. You are in a no win situation. It actually looks like a really nice car to boot.
Oh yeah for sure!
Good Morning Jimmy. Halfway through coffee and your video. Nice job on finishing up Honda.
Thanks very much! Enjoy
Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy, You had the perfect opportunity to use your pole Jack and pry bar to get that ball joint off! You made it look to simple! I thought for sure you would have used your pole Jack and pry bar? Lol
Rofl
Jimmy what scan tool was that you were using for the honda?
I’ve been using the Vdiagtool or XTool on that one. Both good scanners. A bit more expensive but my go to is the Topdon Phoenix lite 2.
Thanks Jimmy I'm think about get the topdon elite or remote. I like the way the ui is on your vids
You’re getting close to 25,000 subscribers congratulations
Yes! Thank you!
Brilliant and early for members 🎉
Much appreciated!
Those pistol grip pliers are so useful. I got the Quinn version from HF. I never thought I would use them as much. Thanks for the idea jimmy
Yeah they are awesome Robert!
Thanks
It's too early to be 97 degrees. Hope you have a good weekend Jimmy!
Thanks M, Hope you do as well!
Good catch on the oil filter housing o-ring leak. I think the car lot mechanic could have fixed the leak without a new o-ring by applying some flour paste and raw bacon. The car would have always smelled like a good breakfast.
Good call! Haha
You have to mix in some cornstarch, too
impressive work on the honda. 👍 i think milage was too high to dump the money in it . but i get the economy is not flying high right now, and interest rates are crazy! people maintain your vehicles from day one! 4 to 5 thousand mile oil change. coolant changes every 5 to 6 yrs or 100 thousand miles . differential fluid. take care of your car / truck, and it will take care of you .( disclaimer most of the time) Thanks again, jimmy 🪛🔩🔧🍻👍
Great point! Thanks
