Welcome to Basra! I am amazed by the dedication you have for filming a 3 hour video and editing it all! I immediately subscribed when i saw this. I really hope you enjoyed Basra, and I am incredibly happy you visited.
So happy to see that Iraq is doing well. History is the past....though it may be hard for some to move forward, it is essential for all of us as equal human beings. Eating, sharing culture can heal us and can be celebrated. Much respect David.
David you are awesome I am from Iraq Basra I didn’t see my city and my parents and my people for 10 years and I enjoy every minute of your trip in Basra. I really enjoy thank you David you are the best.
Many thanks for sharing these adventures..such lovely things and people's and the food as always delicious mixed with hospitality nice indeed..much love..one love.. respect..travel well..
I know the iraki fried chicken liver with carry. It's delicious. There's also a sort of dried lemons which are known as "numi Basrah" which make a delicious tea and are used in cooking.
Pls mentioned that is the best recommended time to visit Basra is October-November-march-April. if you would try the summer time & December-January- February if you want to try the springtime & wintertime The rest of the year is extremely sunny & hot it’s most appropriate for those who want to increase their vitD3 levels & have a depressive mood because they live in areas where there’s little or no sun
Wow! This is epic! Massively delicious! My mouth was watering upon watching you guys eating lots of the Iraqi delicacies . Watching here from Mindanao, Philippines! Keep up the exciting adventures! God bless!
To be able to go to the ancient city of Ur is pretty breathtaking. You are a very lucky person. All I hear is how dangerous it is in that region. I cannot tell if its propaganda, truth, or a little bit of both. I wish I could visit. So much history in that region. The cradle of civilization.

In Iraq, there is the first civilization in the whole world. The first to invent writing were the Sumerian Iraqis. The first to invent the wheel were the Iraqis. The first pharmacy in the world was in ancient Iraq. The first mural in the world was made by the Iraqis. Wow,.There is a lot of history in Iraq. Learn about the ancient Iraqi civilization. The first civilizations and sciences originated there ❤،By the way, the oldest country in the world is Iraq, which is 7,000 years old. There are also many stolen Iraqi antiquities dating back to a very ancient era, and they are found in the British Museum and the museum in Berlin, such as the Gate of Babylon and King Gudea. And the Lion of Babylon. There are also many stolen Iraqi antiquities in France. You can learn about this ancient civilization if you are interested.
It is called the Arabian Gulf, not the Persian Gulf. All the countries around the Gulf are Arab. Even the part of Iran that overlooks the Gulf, known as Ahvaz (Arabistan), is considered Arab, though it is currently under Iranian control."
