Coniston English Championship Fell Race 1st May '10

On May Day fell runners dance around the high fells above Coniston in the Lake District. English Championship points are up for grabs in this classic of fell races.

Ian Holmes is the greatest all time fell runner. He’s consistently winning or top 5 finishers even today (2022) Fastest hill descender ever. The man machine needs higher recognition. He’s humble and can hold his own with the young guns too.
