Run with wharfee 'round BOFRA's classic Coniston Gullies fell race. No room for tripods or image stabilisers 'ere...you are advised to take a motion sickness pill prior to viewing!
Has been an annual event for many years, probably since the early 80's or before? It's short, nobbut 15 mins for the winner. I never did manage to win it, think 3rd was my best result there in '92, or a year either side of that. Check out the BOFRA website for details. There was talk that it might not go ahead next year due to complaints from some of the locals about car parking issues; too many competitors these days. Bring back the good old days I say!
