Nice video, normally we use to enter 9.20Am after settling down the major movement..and SL use to keep 30 to 50% on each leg premium, in your strategy we have to enter immediately on opening the market which will help to capture more premium as well theta decay, also as understood from your reply SL to be kept equal to the value of premium received both leg of Call and Put, means almost 100% SL...seems workable. Out of 20 trading days probability of profit may be more than 10days... thanks 👍

रही बात 9:15 को बेचेनेकी तो NSE की ओपन कीमत और बेचेनेकि कीमत बहुत जादा फरक होता है,

वास्तविक ओपन और आपकी बेचनेकी कीमत में अंतर होता है वही लॉस करने में अहम भूमिका अदा करता है

I have backtested this strategy for the Jan 2024 series, Here are the outcomes :
1. At the end of the month net loss is approx. RS 6300 i.e. - 6.3 % assume one lakh margin .
2. Till first 17 trade our of 19 it was in profit around RS 14300 that's great.
3 Last two days of series , market move heavily to single side i.e. -330 points 23rd Jan 2024 ( loss of that day was RS 14750) & on 24th Jan 2024 move of + 215 made loss of Rs 6300 approx..
In conclusion, your insightful video inspired me to independently explore and refine the strategy. Excited to apply these newfound insights and see how this approach unfolds in my trading journey. Thanks again for the valuable content!🙂

Aj trade liya hai at 9.20am. 17400CE and PE March. Short sell. Currently loss hai 2800 at 2pm. 3600 loss now at 2.35pm. Finally loss booked 4010 at 3pm.. lost as it's increasing. PE short +3210 and CE short -7227.50 = -4017 losssss

With great respect to Mr. Mahesh g. All viewers are adviced to test this concept over a long period of time using some backtesting plateform.
Indeed this did gave huge loss of more than 1.3 lakhs when tested on stockmock. Had lot of respect for him because the other videos that i saw were rational. 10% return per month is absurd if someone believes. I read that even Warren Buffet cannot make more than 2% a month.

Mahesh ji, Pranaam🙏! Strategy is great and risk somewhat reduced by trading only in monthly as well as intraday without holding the position overnight. But there must be stoploss on either side as, in case, market trends intraday, then there can be big big loss. So more refining and adjustment abt this strategy is expected in yr next video - thank you😊

ye method ne last 3 months main net profit hi generate kiya hai. and maine decide kiya tha ki agar ye last 3 months main net profit mai rahegi to main ise use karunga.

Kaushik ji boliye. And this strategy is based on theta decay. Do a backtest on the theta vs delta and you will find that theta wins when the underlying is index after excluding event days. There is a stop loss based on the premium received. So vix will only decide the profitability of the trades. And the performance will be rather better on lower vix days.

Sir, I back-tested this strategy from 30 Sept 2022 to 27 Oct 2022. This gave only Rs 1304 profit without blockage. If I calculate, 17 trading days total brokerage is almost 2040. So overall it's a loss-making strategy.

Sold call and put should be hedged by far otms. This will reduce the required margin. This will also save us from big lass in case of sudden movement. Or else we can put a sl to both positions which will be total of sold CE and PE .

Back-tested this for Feb 23. Sell @ open price ATM CE/PE and buy back @ LTP. We get 22620 Rs profit. Practically this is difficult to execute as we cannot buy @ open price always as sometimes it jumps quick after opening either side. Still a profitable strategy and 8% per month may be possible.

maine aapki method Dec and Feb months main back test ki and uske results is prakar hain
Dec -> net profit 4650 Rs
Feb -> net profit 11350 Rs
ye method ne last 3 months main net profit hi generate kiya hai. and maine decide kiya tha ki agar ye last 3 months main net profit mai rahegi to main ise use karunga.
Dec month kafi volatile tha fir bhi isne net profit hi diya.. agar or koi ise most volatile months main back test kare and uske results positive rahe to hum ise guaranteed method maan sakte hain :)

Mahesh Ji , I am your follower and admire most of your calls , going by your theory I tried the technique suggested however facing losses since past 2 days. Today sold 17450 CE and 17450 PE and suffered loss of INR 3000 which is on higher side considering hedging done. Further going by your theory have checked this for Month of Oct 2022 and in 1 month one could have suffered loss of INR 7647.5, happy to share data in case of any disconnect. Plus also note one Option buy and sell net brokerage of zerodha is 65 rs which means 65+65 -130 loss per day. Taxes additional -short term captial gain in case by luck you earn some profit. Going forward Request you to do detailed analysis prior to coming with such strategy which is not full proof and middleclass people loose their hard earned money.
