hand break first before Park po para di masira transmission
Been doing this since 2006 Fortuner but never had any transmission issue. So I guess matibay ang Toyota 😅 plus, newer cars today with electronic parking break only engages once transmission is shifted to P 👍🏻

We have been getting Fortuners since it came out in 2005. It was back then a switch from Ford Expedition to the gas trim (G vvti) Fortuner. Kind of bumpy though. But recently, these SUVs obviously have improved the ride quality. So, to answer your question, no to Ford Everest for me lol nothing against it but just my own preference!

Can u comment on matagtag issue in fortuner? There was a comment that the GRS variant is no longer matagtag. How about thie LTD variant? Tnx
Been a Fortuner user since it came out in I believe 2004? Our first generation, which is also in one of my videos, was really matagtag, as in super. A lot of people had similar complains about that. Hype lang talaga before due to its MSRP for gas variant (vvti) for only P1.2M.
We have had Fortuners every time they release a new model. This 2023 LTD model is by far the most comfortable Fortuner ever. Though still has the “matagtag” feels because it uses a hilux (pickup) frame. But then, it’s a Toyota - built to last 🙂
Thanks. There is a reported upgraded Fortuner 2024 report out of TOPGEAR where shocks and springs are upgraded in Q below variants and monotube dampers for LTD to "resolve" this tagtag issue in Fortuners. The thing is we don't know when they are coming to PH. I have a 2016 V Fortuner and medyo matagtag siya compared to Montero, Terra & Isuzu now. Only the new GRS model now has the upgraded monotube dampers and underchassi upgrade. Per one dealer, all fortuners below GRS has the same underchassis suspensions since 2012. I wonder!

Ayos lang ang shifting boss. Very responsive naman. Though napansin ko hindi nag shshift to 6th from 5th gear.

@@John-tk6wdbro I’ve owned Fortuners since it was introduced in 2004. And this 2023 model is by far the best in terms of comfort, technology, road noise, and acceleration. I personally have not encountered any vibrations during acceleration, though I noticed a black smoke when stepping on the gas harder than usual. Thanks for the comment brother!
i just mean brother that the diesel engines have a bit of vibrations right? its not quiet like gas right? I just bought a fortuner grs 2,000 klmtrs palang just wondering if its normal cuz my other car is a lexus is350 thanks! and thats gas and no vibrations.

IS350 comes with a V6 petrol engine. Newer Fortuners (Philippine market) only come with diesel engine unlike back in the days. To compare a diesel engine car to a V6 petrol in terms of engine vibration is a no-brainer. The latter will always have a smoother acceleration compared to the former. Thanks!

Yes po! It will notify the driver several meters away from a possible collision. Also, meron din po eto adaptive cruise control.
How smooth is the ride sir?
Not as smooth as expected sir. But definitely a lot better than the previous model 🙂

@@kerskrt responsive naman po sir. May napansin lang ako when shifting to 6th gear: ayaw mag shift kahit mataas na ang RPM. Posted din po yung video na yun sa channel ko.

Driving the Q daily now, ang tag tag at ang tigas ng steering compared to 2019 Terra. Other than that, everything is ok.
Fortuner is sharing the same platform as the Hilux pickup. But huge improvement compared to the previous models 👍🏻

Galing sa aircon vents yung ingay sa loob. Naka set to auto climate. You can see sa gitna na almost full yung fanspeed ng aircon. Mag rereduce ang fanspeed if na reach na ang temperature na naka set sa aircon.

We also have a Hilux in the Philippines. It is the Tacoma equivalent in the US.

Ibig sabihin boss mag Neutral ka muna saka handbrake and Park. Sa 1:00 kasi nag shift ka sa park kahit tumatakbo pa konti ang sasakyan. Masama kasi yan sa transmission nang sasakyan.
