Hitler does seem to have an unhealthy aura over in all media as my late mother who was in the war kept saying he is dead but he won't lie down.

This is factual information that was classified for a long time and is now public information. The public wouldn't have liked that, so our governments hid it from us until all that were involved were most likely dead.
