These action cameras have gotten so good, I find myself reaching for them rather than the full-sized or APS-C sensor Sony cameras I have for run and gun captures. Still can't beat a regular camera for soft backgrounds but I bet the engineers are working on that for these tiny cameras too as an option in the settings.

For video I'm really worried as much about soft backgrounds. But for photos I prefer either a digital camera or even a smartphone to an action camera. Thanks for watching.
