Hey at least you’ve been trying. I think it really is a matter of statistics: the more women you meet, the greater your chances will be you’ll find one who “clicks” with you. Also the greater your chances of rejection, but that’s the risk. 😂
I know you're right, but it's always a blow to the ego to realize that so many attractive women want nothing to do with you. I guess it's the guys that aren't fazed by that who end up being the most successful in the end (well, that and/or the ones who are either especially good looking or successful and don't get rejected a lot in the first place), but when it boils down to a game of statistics, it has the effect of making the whole process seem very pedestrian and unromantic. I guess I have to keep reminding myself that if they don't like me for who I am, then I shouldn't be with them anyway.
@@GriefTourist Hmmm, interesting, I was always jealous of the Brits over here that seemed to effortlessly attract girls with their accents, I didn't realize the same dynamic existed in the reverse. I guess girls just like anything that stands out from the norm.
In all honesty sex and being in a relationship is very overrated. And i always find it so sad to see people who have never tried it putting it on a pedestal and idealizing it. Its nothing special. Its just sex and a relationship. I personally feel i was much better of before i got into my current long-term relationship. You always want what you don't have. When i was single i really wanted to be in a loving long term relationship but now that i have that i just miss the freedom of being single and want to return to that.
Thanks for this comment, it makes me feel better. Positives and negatives with everything of course, I just think it's a shame that I'll likely go through life never once experiencing love, as it is one of the few major life experiences I have missed out on. Then again, it's mostly just an oxytocin/dopamine fever dream anyway, and like a lot of other pleasurable life experiences, it tends to be short-lived.
@@jgmafia Yeah i guess it is a little bit tragic. My point is that it's not that tragic. At least not as tragic as you make it in your mind. It is as you say. Most desires grow stale very fast once you obtain whatever you desired. And i'm sure you'd be disappointed anyway should you experience love or sex and think 'That's it?!'. That is how I and I'm sure many other people felt.

You should move to England your accent alone would give you a great chance here!
