“I've been very into .. like ... making less work for myself” I can relate, beji, I can.
i think if i ever had a day like this i would be happy...forever...
It is possible!
These videos help my anxiety so much. Everythings so calm and makes me feel like everything will be okay. Dude genuinely thankyou for your content.
I loved the music you used for this video, and Theo wrapped up in the blanked was just so precious! Your new desk space looks amazing as well, I love the way that the wood desk stays with the whole vibe of your apartment :). I was super happy to see your video in my notifications today, keep up the amazing work!
You can use fish tank water, just save some when you do water change, it helps the plants. Also you can collect rain water.
Thank you for mentioning the challenge of organizing plant supplies.
i just replay benji's videos to chill at weekends.
Love how cozy this video is! The rainy day, your super cozy house and your and Chris's wonderful taste in music make this video perfection.
I'm from Mexico and lately I been obsessed with your videos. Please don't stop, I love your work
I'd like to offer a bit of advice about the bookshelf terrarium. With the wood being so close to the tank you may want to create a waterproof barrier and maybe put a small circulation fan behind it. It's to keep the mildew from forming on the wood causing spores to spread into your books. I lost a lot of first editions because I didn't do that.
Love your videos, except for the part where it makes me feel like I must have new plants but can't because it's already in the freezing temps here in NYC. 🪴🐈
you should definately put snails in that aquarium. I recommend nerite snails. They leave eggs on the glass but they dont breed in freshwater. You can also get shrimp. They'd do great in small bushy tanks like yours and they'll help alot with algae which I imagine will be a bigger issue now that the tank is in an area with stronger light.
I fell in love with your plants and your set up. Your voice sounds so relaxing as well. Makes me feel good watching your videos. Thank you!
I'm cooking right now while this is playing. I'm not even looking at the screen, I'm just listening. Your voice is just therapeutic, that's why I come to your channel from time to time.
Benji, just fnished repairing a leak in my 100 gal pond, had to relocate fishes and plants, got really tired and frustrated, watching these vid brought back calm, thank you.
So glad you brought up repotting in the winter. I live in Hawai’i and there’s not a huge houseplant community in the town I live in (we mostly do a lot of outdoor gardening) so there’s really no one I can turn to for advice. With the slight changes in season we have here (if there are any) I was getting so confused with what I’ve been reading online on what to do and what not to do with your houseplants throughout the year. So thank you for your input!
Home Depot sale cord cover in the lighting section, that you can use to cover your red extension cord, come in different width,no nails needed and you can paint the cord cover.
I love all your videos and I especially love how real you are here, telling us that you also have times when you avoid certain chores sometimes etc. I feel like your channel is never about perfection (i mean that in a very good way!) and you always have this calm and positive vibes in your videos. Thank you for creating and sharing parts of your life with us! ❤
Whenever I want some chill plant inspiration I watch your videos and it is the best! Keep up the good work Benji 😊
Thank you, both
Love how honest and humble you seem 🙏🏼😇💜✨
Enjoy your videos, they are so real life 🎉
I love this channel
I 💘 the pot and the plant is beautiful
I'm in Southern California also, I repot whenever i need to. Also I have Hoyas on my patio, doing great. Love this format, cool projects!!!🌱🤗💚
I love that your a relatable person especially when it comes to not wanting to do complex plant care sometimes super relatable!
Thank you so much for this. I needed this so bad right now. Going through a tough situation right now and I needed to relax, this was just perfect. Thank you...
felt
hope it's all blown over ❤
Hi Benji ! really enjoy watching your. Your apartment is beauitful . You have done is up with a lot of love.
The fish pond adds a lot of character to your balcony. Wondering if the fish are fine in the winter do they need a aquarium heater ?
Love watching your videos. Your apartment is looking so zen garden chill and i like how you privatized your balcony with the mosquito net
I love the calmness of your videos. Theo is adorable too. Keep creating content. ❤
it always becomes my favorite time of day whenever i'm watching your videos
Hi Mr Benji thanks you for videos and your konten is my insipiration for me 🙏
Your videos are so relaxing
Get assassin snails for your living room tank! They have really pretty shells, stay relatively small, eat algea around your tank and will eat any pest snails (ex.bladder snails) that over take the tank. You could probably get away with 5 in that tank :)
The biophytum sensitivum will actually shoot their seeds around a far distance. It is incredible. I had them growing in a terrarium and noticed seeds sticking to the top of the glass and have seen the seeds being launched. You might notice them growing in surrounding plants if left uncovered!
This, my friend, is called free therapy. Thank you. 🌱🤌🏼
every time i watch one of your videos i get so excited to do some plant care! i hope to build more with moss in the future 🌿 thanks for the amazing inspo and also the interior design tips 😊🌷
Haha. That’s what I do. Water Wednesdays. Sip Sundays. Two days for plant care. :)
Now Im unhappily in love. I had no idea Benji had Chris, but Im happy for you. But what about separate bedrooms… Chris, how can you allow it? ;-) Love from Sweden
Ur whole apartment and aesthetic is my dream aesthetic. I’m just so glad that y’all make these RUclips videos so that I can see how to model my plants and my room after y’all
Really love the home setup and how you presented them! It’s so calm and soothing to watch your videos. Thank you so much!
This is exactly what I needed to watch right now Benji. Thank you. 💗💗 love your videos so much!
You could always try and press the pettles from the flower chris got for you or bake them then u will always have them :)
benji, you bring me so much joy on sundays ❤️❤️🌿🌸
Omg, I just love your videos so, so much! Keep it up! 🌱❤
Merci pour la vidéo. J'aime tellement l'ambiance qui sen dégage ! Tellement zen. Bisous de France !
yes!! this is my favorite kind of video, so relaxing. such a lovely surprise this week
I really enjoy your videos and your calm voice. And your apartment is looking soooo nice now 🙂
Thank you Benji for always convincing me to add all sorts of new things to my shopping carts 😅
I love how your style illustrates the vibes perfectly ❤
Hey benji! You mentioned you might add snails into your tank but you didn't want there to be so many of them. You should try Nerite snails! There's so many different ones my favorite are the Thorned ones! Also they can't reproduce in fresh water! so no need to worry about babies :)
There is a good chance of the snails escaping from the aquarium without a lid, isn't there? I had that happen to me - so sad to find a dried up snail under the couch.
Прекрасные растения и милый пёсик))) Благодарю за видео, вдохновляюсь! (Beautiful plants and a cute dog))) Thank you for the video, I'm getting inspired!)😍🌸🪴🍀
sensitive plant grows in vietnam too, my dad showed me them growing on the side of the road
Benji, your videos are always a highlight of my weekends. So calming and informative and inspiring. Thank you so much. 💙
I love your videos :) You make me happy
Love your plants 🌱 Love your sweet puppy🐕 Love the video❤ Love your style 😊
Thank you Benji! I've fallen in love with your content and you've helped me through some tough times. I'm going to be making a greenhouse cabinet line yours soon and I couldn't be more excited 😃
Those mushrooms lights are the cutest thing ever! Do you have a link on where to buy them?
benji please can you do a closet tour 😭 I love all your clothes holy crap
Hi, Benji how are you !?
I'm so happy to see you again today 💓 💗
How do you keep track of when you watered your plants last? Do you keep a book with notes? (If so what does that set up look like?) Or do you just go off of how the plants look? Love your videos btw!
Small fish like ember tetras or CPDs would be fine in your tank, very unlikely to jump. The cool light works well to make tank stand out from all the warm light in the room. Can't wait to see the new terrarium, a green field of moss will look so nice set against all the wood of the shelves.
I thought you had a bonsai!! I’ve noticed it in previous videos but just now got a good look at it. That’s pretty cool 😁 I started my plant journey by getting into bonsai and found your channel after getting into houseplants
I don't know y bt I really feel comfort with ur videos m really up to like touched vth ur videos really like obsessed ❤😅
Hi Benji, I'm not having the best time right now, but your videos helps me calm down, thank you so much
his apartment looks like my sims save. plants are the only decoration needed
hey benji! I'm planning to grow a rhaphidophora korthalsii this spring, but I feel the same way about the aesethic of a plain wood plank for shingling/climbing plants. My plan is to mount it in spag moss on a plank with a live edge! I think it'll give me the flat mount that I want, but with a more natural vibe! plus each live edge plank is unique :)
I loveeee your creature lamp!!!!! And the frog ❤🤩
A lovely repotting video👍
💚🌵☘️🌱
Please make a video on composting, fertilising plants .. and also how did you find such a beautiful apartment with such nice exposure of natural light. I want to know all these things.. i want to know how you fertilise your plants. If you're on tiktok and upload content there. In India tiktok is banned.
Benji - you finally wore me down. I want one of the staghorn ferns and mounts. lol😂
idk if you have the information for what color temperature that current light is but if that one is 5600k, try 4000k. it'll still be somewhat of a "white" light, but with a tad of an orange. if you want that "orange" light, it's 3200k but i personally like the contrast of the blueish light with the orange just like that. love getting to watch the apartment transform
I just made a kokedama for one of my platycerium's inspired by your old video about how to make one!!!
It's actually already snowing where I live right now. Wich is a little unusual in comparison to the last 15 years but it's still very nice :3. It means there will be snow on my birthday!
What is the name of the plant at 32:13? I know you said it but I can't find it anywhere. Loved the video!!
jiahao is a friend for life.
Wooooooow! Always beautiful and inspiring!
I am obsessed with your account! In video you mentioned that you have a discord server. Is it still active? Would love to join.
Theo, the dancing doggie!
I am looking forwards to the moss terrarium i. the shelf 🎉❤
“Theo back up” 😂 that was to cute!
Also you should probably get a soil potting station they sell some on Amazon:)
Oh my gosh! Love watching your videos but Theo steals my heart 😊
Love you’re video’s, plants, and design skills! Where do you find your clothes? I love your style
This is such a gorgeous video! One question though, where did you get the passiflora amalocarpa? I looked everywhere but it was out of stock. Thank-you!
Yay was waiting for a new video! Also that natural wood lamp is amazing
Oh yes, 35min of Benji🤩🎉💃🏾🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚🌿
Hey Benji, are you going to do another ikea products video? They were really interesting :))
love the aesthetic. where did you get the little mushroom floor lamp?
Cozy💙💙素敵🥹🥹🥹
YAsssss!!! New video, i was waiting for it !!!
Thank you Benji for the unique and inspiring content. I don't see why you can't have your own TV show one day.
Midnight gem! 🙋
Where do you get your clothes they are so nice:))) you should do an entire video on your closet and where you go Shopping for clothes:)))
Your voice hypnotises me
Hey! I just found you on here recently. I’ve been wanting to get into plants. I have a spider plant, and plan to get more. I really want a monstera deliciosa in the future, but i live in a tiny country town. I was wondering where I could get one online?
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Hello! I was wondering if you can dehydrate live sphagnum moss. I have a lot of it and I would like to keep it but without having to take care of it. Btw love your videos💙💙
You can! You have to cook them(dry) but make sure they don't get burnt!! I'm pretty sure it was 100-150°C??
If you dry them in the sun, it takes 3-6 months since they will grow back if you dry them too short.
When you use a plank to support, does the plant naturally grip to the wood without you tying it to it or do you have to strap the plant to the wood?
How do you keep your plants alive during the winter? Especially the terranium?
obsessed! now i just count my day by the day benji uploaded and the day he doesn't.
so relaxing
