Swear! That's how most of them are! They claim to be the happiest people alive but most of them are much less enthusiastic about what they teach than you may think.
Thank goodness Lloyd sits through this drivel for us. It's the only way I can watch these and the broadcasts, not concentrated but diluted with Cedars. Thanks for the work you put in.
I used to be Mormon. I find these videos fascinating. So much of the ways they use propaganda here is very similar to the way my former faith used its rhetoric in "General Conference." It also just depresses me to be honest. I can't imagine going my entire life thinking that this is the peak of wisdom. Though, I did do that for a long time with the dry platitudes my church churns out. I feel right at home in your channel. Guess growing up in cults gives people a lot of common experiences.
I try finding Mormon propaganda online to make comparisons but it’s surpassingly difficult to find. Unless I’m just an idiot, which is very possible lol.
I came to this channel as an ex mormon as well. @Sean Cruz They definately have propaganda videos, such as "historical" depictions of Joseph Smith's vision and finding the golden plates. I remember seeing many back when I was a member. They would play them during church and at General Assembly. But it seems like JWs are way more intense in the volume of propaganda they produce.
Growing up with narcissistic parents is similar to joining a religious cult, as wellYou have to sacrifice your individuality, your preferences , and sometimes your safety to please another.
Yep so true. why don’t they ever show these perfect witnesses getting their rent bill in the mail which they can’t pay because they are not working. Nita clearly has no job and no income whatsoever yet she has a really nice house. How does she pay for that and not have any anxiety about money?
Jade will forever be the only kinda realistic portrayal of a person in a jw dramatization. She is literally the only character that has a likeable and somewhat relatable attitude. Everybody else act like aliens from another dimension.
Nocturnalux I’m surprised they included that. But I’m thinking about it, they probably included it to subtly point out that she is “rightly disposed for the truth” or some such nonsense
jade is the only one who is sympathic and spontaneous: ) how often would i have liked to say « this doesnt make any sense » when i read some explanations of the WTorg!! but we were obliged to keep silent, to sweep it under the carpet!! poor jade does not yet know that even hugging will be limited for her when she will be a JW, not to speak about a deep free thinking...
Lloyd, I don't know how you keep your sanity listening to this stuff! I'd have to be put in a straitjacket if I had to listen to this without your rebuttal!
The two women in the first dramatization have fantastic chemistry. I like to imagine that later they leave the organization when they realize they're madly in love with each other and subsequently marry and live a long, cult-free, and happy life together.
Ask questions, listen, take control of the conversation, building rapport... This all sounds like the training I had last week at my job. I work in the Sales Department. Jehovah's Witnesses, you need to realize that you are nothing but the Watchtower's Sales People.
I thought it seemed familiar, I worked in a department store for years. And yes you can ask the householder questions, but you can't ask any questions to the elders!
Exactly! How people don't think that if "god's truth" is actually so good and gives hope, and that if god grows the seed, then why the hell does it need so much selling? Crazy cult
The whole idea that your student might lose friends, and you need to “fill the void” is very troubling, that’s just reeling them in, and driving them into an insular environment. It’s very sinister
Seeing that woman interviewed reminded me of something that happened to me when I was a witness. My sister had been disfellowshipped for years. I went against the rules and invited her to an assembly. She went. She eventually got reinstated. She was then asked to be interviewed at an assembly. However, she was not allowed to say she came back because I asked her to. She was told she had to lie and say she felt Gods spirit calling to her. Despicable!!!! Thankfully she left again.
That first clip is gold😂 It's like that trendy RUclips "morning routine" what I wish it would look like and what it actually look like most of the days 😆
People don’t know what they saying, in the Bible homosexuality is against of God Jehovah’s eyes, we are created women and men,,, 1 Corinthians 6;9 and 1 Timothy 1:10
Alec Alberti we are not thinking like world people think,, we are Jehovah’s witnesses, that 2 women is our sister they are serving full time with god,, so if people think badly for that video we don’t care , we care how people can change their lives and serve to god, because I believe because I’m in that situation before I got babtize I change my life, ,if that men to men dramatization is the same because their our brothers they are not think what people think badly,,you can read that bible text how god think about homosexuality,
One day, while sitting next to a friend, I noticed that he was busy redistributing his salary. 1. Utility:25,000 2. Rent :50,000 3. Medicine:2000 4. Mother :1000 5. Father : 1000 I knew his parents were no more so curiously asked him about the money he allocated for them. He smiled back and answered . “Yes, my parents are no more. Yes, they are dead but that does not mean that they are gone from my heart. They are very much with me. They will always be in my heart. They need me more now. They need my duas and sadaqas, which I regularly do for their welfare. Shouldn’t I be doing this much for them? Remember, the haq (rights) of parents do not seize with their death..” I lowered my gaze and started contemplating ! *Mashallah* , what a great reminder.
Anyone else notice the chemistry between Nita and Jade? It's kind of funny how Watchtower unintentionally crafted a rather cute pair. I'd like to think that their time in the org was rather short before running away together.
Isn't it insane that in the dramatization Jade thinks she's making a new friend and Nita doesn't even realize her goal is to indoctrinate Jade, she doesn't even understand her goal is sinister. Incredible.
Aging Casually Late Gamer also watchtower: “here’s a list of clothes you can and can’t wear” and “here’s a list of things you can and can’t do with your own body”. They are such rampant hypocrites
46:43 “This doesn´t make sense. Adam sins, then he loses that [eternal life]… what’s that got to do with me? I die because he’s stupid?” That´s a very valid question and the answer is horrendous. Basically, we inherited the “sin condition” and the corresponding punishment: suffering and death. Well, who designed the inheriting mechanism in the first place? Even before birth, we are already sentenced to death, and we have to spend our life seeking forgiveness. An absolutely immoral ideology. Cristopher Hitchens put it very eloquently: “We are born sick and commanded to be well” .
Adam and Eve were our first parents we descended from them. We are basically their child. When eve ate the apple it made her and Adam normal humans as in they could sin. that’s was gods way of punishing them for disobeying. After they were punished they were sent out of the garden of Eden to live like normal humans. Before sinning they were perfect. So after that Adam and Eve had kids and their kids had kids and their kids had kids until us now that why we are also sinners because Adam and Eve were basically our first parents that disobeyed and so god disowned them. Get it now?
This is why I don't believe the stories of the bible. It makes you feel like the Almighty God is cruel and unfair. I don't see that at all looking at creation and the entirety of the Universe. God is good...the bible is just a book of stories that cannot be verified.
I came to the conclusion that indoctrinated people are trained to mis the points they are confronted with. The comments here try to explain over and over how we inherited the “sin condition”. That is not the issue. The issue is: Is it moraly justified to burden people with that condition, even from birth? Here's an analogy: Imagine a justice system in which when you commit a crime, let’s say, stealing food, you are punished with life sentence. That alone would be an appalling justice system, but the horror does not stop there. All of your children and all of their descendants have to suffer the same sentence, for ever, just for being born. Would you call that a superior justice system? I would call it the product of a sick mind. Going back to Adam & Eve. They sinned; they became imperfect, therefore they pass on their imperfection to the rest of us via their genes (or something like that), and so we die. Seriously? Is God restricted by the laws of biology or by any law of physics, for that matter? He could perfectly have done some magic in which all of their children are born perfect despite their parents. They could have had the chance to live for ever, like their parents once had, and prove themselves “worthy of God’s people”, whatever that means. But instead, they (we) are born with no options, and sentenced to dead from birth!, just because a couple ate a fruit thousands of year ago? Really? Please, repeat that sentence outloud so you could see how ridiculous and immoral it sounds. If you even try to justify it, you are embarrassing yourself.
Lloyd I'm watching halfway and had to pause for a moment to tell you that all you said makes so much sense!!! How is possible I was so blind? The mind control is now so clear and I didn't see it before!!! The sister I was studying with was always saying to me: "After the book, baptism comes next" "The swimming pool is waiting for you, you are more than ready" I was 14...got baptized at almost 17...I can't help to feel angry at myself. I felt the pressure everytime I had the study..I wasn't clever or strong enough to stop and do proper research. I had some doubts but thought it was the truth just because grown ups were telling me it was. I can't thank you enough for all your work. It made me do my own research at last about diferent subjects. Thank you for the time and work you do!! I really appreciate!!☺️
Glad that you are seeing how we all have been victims of manipulation! Yes, it hurst, it makes us angry when we find out that we weren’t that smart or intelligently to pick up the tricks of the trade! The first stages of waking up has twist and turns, ups and downs in ourselves the betrayal is totally inaceptable! I remember the day i woke up: i was comparing the other religions and saying “ I’m so greatful I have the TRUTH and not those poor fools” because I allowed myself (after overcoming the fear) to look for answers of my doubts out of JW literature. And all in a sudden I asked myself: “and what if this is NOT the TRUTH, either?” Y own conscience slapped my face and Cried all night! And yes, Lloyd has helped To see what we all are seeing! That doesn’t mean That at times I agree in all he saids but mostly I do! Thats the beauty of having free will and respect eachother! Lloyd also went thru his challenges- (watch his initial videos) Welcome to your freedom, be happy! Be safe! Regards from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷!
1:22:20 OMFG! I was in a relationship where my partner decided he didn't like my friends and so I ended up with only HIS family as my friends. It's complete mind-bending control. Yet another great rebuttal! Thanks for all your hard work - and I really don't know how you watch and re-watch all this shite without wanting to put an ice pick in your head.
I was having a conversation through text with my jw mother in law over the course of a month or so and my last text to her was in part how it feels like she not trying to converse but instead trying to direct the conversation. Now I know why she's doing it.
Seriously, Long live Lloyd. We NEED you to keep picking this stuff apart. Nobody on the entire internet does it like you do so clearly. You've woke me up, my wife, and we are beyond grateful. This was AWESOME as always. Thank you! Can't wait for the next one.
I read the comments about Jade and it makes me kinda sad. I was like her inside the cult. Late to get up, played rock all day even though it was the 2005-2015 years and I was a teenager. So Jade is welcome inside. Nice to know. I left because amongst other reasons, as a man, I couldnt play instruments as much as I wanted to, my behavior was too 'worldly', no beard, no long hair, no tattoo, no rings, and no 'worldly' friends, music, movies. I feel sorry for young JWs who will dream of being like the robotic young woman instead of a normal woman like this slightly stereotyped but way more reassuring Jade. I am glad I left. We are birds as Jesus said. Well some birds you cannot cage 🤘
Of all the jw’s I remember, I can only recall mayyyyyybe one who was similar to the jw depicted in this video. Most of the young people we had in our congregation and other were pretty normal. They didn’t only were dresses with blouses up to the neck. Weren’t neat freaks. Hair wasn’t always in a bun. Even their own stereotypes of themselves is ridiculous and unrealistic
I’ve noticed a monumental difference between watching rebuttals of atheists versus theists. I really can’t watch theists rebuttals anymore because they are (understandably) all about the Bible and why specific scriptures are used differently, and why Jesus is different from theirs, etc etc. I love the fact that you’re an atheist because your rebuttals are so much more logical and in-depth. Pretty sure this is one of my favorite rebuttals you have done. That Jade video made me roll my eyes to the ceiling. Please continue to make these videos.!! 😁
My friend, can you cite me some of the Theist rebuttals? I could never find them... I recently woke up (even being DF for 13 years, and I'm trying to watch and read everything so I can start building my opinion and beliefs. Tks!
i agree with you, the best gift i retrieved from WT indoctrination is...going back to atheism:)) because the fundamentalist view of the Bible stresses the nonsense written down 2700 years ago by a bunch of oriental religious integrists! Having been educated to believe mostly nonsense during 30 years, i was eager to return to science and logical thinking. This is why i like Cedar’s rebuttals. Perhaps its easier for European exJWs than for Americans who live in a country where atheism is still under a bad light, or do i miss the point?
@@leodaflorida look up Winston and Watchtower Examination for some theist rebuttals. I am not a believer but it is interesting to watch his kickbacks from inside theology.
To Lloyd Evans: I want to take a moment to thank you sincerely for continuing to make videos of this type. I personally find them very interesting and entertaining.
Ok just watching the first 'dramatisation' and I have never met anyone who is just rude for the sake of it - their depiction of 'worldly' people is just laughable if it weren't so insulting
Exactly not the first time I see such depiction. I remember in a past concevention the non-JW enter the home of a JW and throw is boots like a mess on the floor when he enter. And so much other examples that depicts wordly people as irrespectful and rude.
@@endlessorbaggins8223 no wonder when I was going as a "visitor" they would always call me that "visitor" I found it degrading like I'm human being! 😤 They were all scared of me to even talk to a worldly person it was really uncomfortable and elder has the audacity to say "why aren't you happy here" you have to be kidding 😐 me
But Jade is not rude at all, she is a very loving and caring person as is clearly shown when she gets up in the bus for that elderly lady to have her seat.
Lol! She (Anita) really has an easy life! Wonder who is subsidizing her bills (parents, congregation, or even maybe the Government (Satans World) but I’m sure is NOT the WT! Getting up from bed smiling (sometime but not everyday)! Bahhh and when indoctrinated jW see this they will start doing it! Putting in line the cereal! Lol And the line that David Splein in his talk saids:....I had a car I could afford at the time”. Guess he can use the WT car, latest model, latest year and best of all no need to pay it’
Guy Pierce's 2nd wife. Being raised and indoctrinated as a Mormon, Pierce's first wife was also Mormon, and they had children together in the LDS church. After Guy converted to JW, his marriage ended, and he remarried. I do wonder if Pierce's LDS history and culture had a large part in the recent Mormonizing effects on Watchtower.
I was always uncomfortable with the *sale pitch* from door to door, prehersed talking points from the platform as directed by the org .. it felt *unnatural* and controlling !
Only 3 minutes in and the dramatization is ridiculous. They try to depict witnesses happy as a soon as they wake up 😄 I'm more like.. 😴 "what time is it?" And of course the non witness person's life is a "mess" I'm not a witness and rock music isn't playing when I wake up lol 🤣 rock on though.. 🤘
But then the non-witness gives her seat in the bus to an elderly lady, which is the most Christian/loving/non-ego thing I have seen this whole convention so far!
I was a Jehovah’s Witness for 22 years and I don’t know what I hated more, preaching or sitting thru conventions. Now I can’t wait for ur next video on this
Man, I don't always agree with you, mainly regarding Atheism, but your sarcastic funny way of doing rebuttals ARE THE BEST! sometimes I laugh hard, so funny. Keep the good work!
I'm an ex jw who's (if I say so myself) quite good at illustrations. I have to say, some of their illustrations are horrible and make no valid point that relates to the material. It's crimge worthy
Notice how Nita looked at her phone, nodded at her partner who nodded back enthusiastically, then she sent a message saying “almost done, home soon”. She didn’t send a message saying “I’m going to be late because I need to find a new disciple before I come home”. That sums up my experience of the ministry work i.e. “one hour and we’re out of here...just enough for the record”. She wasn’t there for the salvation of Jade, she was there for her own salvation. If you really, really, really believed you had the absolute cure for the world’s problems, would you check your watch? Also, Watchtower applied the first rule of Hollywood...make sure your actors are good looking 😂.
Efesios 5:8 You talk about “truth” but you are not prepared to reveal your “true” identity. At least I am a face and do not hide behind a scripture as my identity. You are not ‘walking in the light’ of your chosen alias are you? You are hiding in the darkness of your alter ego. Maybe you should spend some more time in the ministry and less time watching RUclips. My point is that Jehovah’s Witnesses do just enough (in their own eyes) to gain salvation for themselves and they do not really care about the salvation of others. Are you a Jehovah’s Witness?
I was checking the good Samaritan parable, didnt you see the asterisk which states that you should leave them if they have been disfellowshiped or havent got their hours in for the month.
ok watching this video the two girls are giving off very flirty vibes. watchtower creating some super gay content here. Headcanon these girls fall in love and run away together once they realize JW is a cult.
I thought it interesting that sister Pierce said in her interview that she feels spoiled by God's blessings you are spoiled, she's married to a government body member. they can go anywhere they want in the world while other bethelites have to work hard all year-round 24/7 to fulfill their agenda
Am I the only one who felt that the story of the two girls came across more as they were falling in love with each other? It would be a perfect lgbtq story 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is it me or does that propaganda video with Jade come over as more of a teen romance kinda deal, it’s weird. But I guess if it’s written by a bunch of repressed Bethel men, it kinda makes sense.
FOR REAL though!! Maybe the "actors" were just awkward, but it came across as flirtatious...they are totally crushing on each other! I kept waiting for them to kiss.
Right? Jade didn't care about the Bible; she just wanted to talk to a cute girl. She keeps making jokes, buying coffee, etc. And that nervous little hug? She was right smitten.
@@WalkingAnarchy No I just imagine, that the actors are actually hidden homosexuals :D (when they're both JW's - Because for the movies they also hire actors as fas as I know)
I believe there is a scripture that says that a child shall not pay for the sins of the father, but yet inherited sin is the whole theme of the bible 🙃
@@Nocturnalux Yup. 2 Samuel 12:15-18. Yahweh couldn't be troubled to kill the newborn painlessly as it slept. Instead he had to make it suffer for 7 days. I've had JWs and Christian apologists argue that God created life, so he is perfectly justified in taking it. Or they'll say that the baby is in heaven, or will be resurrected. To which I say, what a crock of shit! If your god is real, (which I don't believe he is) I want nothing to do with him.
At 1:16 talking about how helpful Nita would be toward someone else, without counting time. She would have zero concern. My 85 yr old mother, in the “truth” her entire life, but has been “inactive” due to medical conditions and age, but has been letter writing, just found out that everyone in the congregation who just recently became so concerned about her and has telephoned her or come to visit has been counting time on her. She’s very hurt. I told her, she needs to start counting time as soon as they call or visit. She didn’t think that was funny. They are a very selfish group of people. For sure their love is conditional! Thank you Lloyd for your activism! Edit: again at 1:54 you talk about exactly what happens to elderly JWs.
Jade is interesting exactly because of she have random and unpredictable life, this is why we like her. Nita who are JW, are predictable and boring, even seems she is in depression !
“The more involved you are in gods organisation, the happier you will be” wow, well, I know a lot of depressed JW’s that have suffered greatly from this awful advice, they do more and more, and work and work, and don’t feel any better, and they often conclude that there must be something wrong with them. This sought of rhetoric only serves to intensify feelings of worthlessness, and weaponises people’s insecurities in order to make them serve watchtower
I’m so relieved I wasn’t the only one that noticed that the dramatization was more of a lesbian story than the indoctrination of Jade. I was feeling so gay for a second I got scared💆🏻
3:52 Are we watching "New York Minute" with the Olsen twins or what? [Edit: Gonna put all of my comments here because I'm about to explode not being able to make fun of it live with anyone else] >46:16 Nice hitting line hah I'm quoting Brüno again "And they'll say, "If Brüno can do it,then I can do it."How did he change? How did you change, Brüno?"And they'll say, "It's Jesus. He changed me."But he wants to come into your heart right now.Are you ready to make that change?-Are you hitting on me? -No, I'm not. -Okay, good, 'cause I just...That was, like, really hot, that whole speech." Now yes! I've got, not high expectations, but divine, they are on a jw level. Like, if you don't come to me with a bible and tell me to "Read it out loud so we can both enjoy it" along with a wink then I'm gonna reject your right away. >1:15:17 Um, "neat freak"? You're a freak, just that, otherwise you'd be excited seeing such mess as you are supposed to love organizing. She's not a neat freak, she's got 1st world psychological problems. I'm roasting a lot as I don't like their take on organizational skills. It's a beautiful task, like some short of meditation. (Sorry, I'm enthusiastic about this hobby of mine) OK, finished it. Thanks for mentioning narcissists as it's being a huge issue in my life this year. The thing is that I also started realizing what a narcissistic organization they are. I hope people who watch that realize that other people are being viewed as numbers in the cult, not real people with real feelings. I've been in that place before when a former friend of mine who was jw of course, approached me in a really sneaky way (well, happened to me 3 times with 3 dif ppl of course, years after me fading from the org) just to make me start a study AGAIN! They tried to make me believe they were respecting me as an individual but it turned out they tried to lure me. It was all fake :)
Wow, Nita is so dishonest. When Jade questions how to make a friend, Nita says "you've done fine with me". As if she was Jade's friend. She is not! The whole commentary from the speakers makes it abundantly clear that this all scheming, tactics, calculation, manipulation... I realize this whole skit is just fiction, but I keep wanting to yell at Jade, "she is only faking it, she is not really your friend!!"
Why do I ship those two women at the beginning so hard? They have such great chemistry and I know it’s probably just the propaganda put watching the way they look at each other, especially the jw one can’t take her eyes off the blonde woman, she stutters and takes pauses as if she had started to get lost in the other woman and she has to reorient herself really quick. Also the way that blonde girl says “see you later” instead of goodbye and then does indeed come back is so cute!!! I hope they can run away together out of that cult and live a happy, beautiful life with one another.
The thing about the tree of life in Genesis is really interesting. I have long wondered how it fits into the Garden of Eden narrative. Your theory sounds pretty good.
the Stephen Lett guy is creepy, Tony Morris comes across as a bigoted narcissist. then the one black guy!, I think his name is Samuel Herd" is a mere "token" and he comes across fake too!
"There is nothing on this planet that can compare to the visible part of Jehovah's organization." - Can someone find and post a Mormon or Scientology propaganda video stating the same thing?
My princess' nanny is originally from Malatya. Malatya is a Turkish city and you can still visit the ancient Babylonian city walls there. Our nanny believes very strongly in the dream prophesy. so even the Babylonian traditions are still alive.
Oh man, the jw girls reaction to the wordly girls “wicked”. It is so extremely cringy. Watchtower here shows their language policing. Now millions of witnesses go, “ ohh wicked is a bad word and our great sister example from the video is soo righteous she already knew this and does NOT KNOW WHAT THAT TOTALLY NORMAL EXPRESSION MEANS”
I had something like this once :D Said the world ''Geil'' on a trip of our convergation - which is a worldly youth word (even used by adults) for absolute fabulous things. Comparable to wicked And had then a five minute lecture from another brother, that the word ''Geil'' comes from gay culture (not homose3xual culture - especially male homosexuals) to describe a person they are sexually interested in (which is true, that is, where the word is based on but .... it has changed ) and that's why I shouldn't use it :D Well - I use it sometime now ...because it is just a word
Lily Snape you silvertongue german you ;) i’m from the netherlands and we also have the word geil, but in here it is definitely not mainly used as an expression of joy or appreciation haha.
There should be a degree in what you are pointing out (your own deep research). People could study how cults work and how to avoid being brainwashed by them.
High ranking Narcissists have imposed and taught their narcissism to rank and file for decades in this religion. You don't have to teach empathy... and they're not. They are teaching how to fake empathy for gain. Thats really what sociopaths do. I have found that true empaths that are JWs are the most depressed ones. The narcissists thrive. Thanks Lloyd once again.
@@kuzinvknee3318 "gain" would be followers which translates to free labor and donations$$$. C'mon man you gotta see that. Real estate doesn't build itself

@@kuzinvknee3318 "voluntary donation" is a very loose term. They routinely beg and use their propaganda machine aka monthly broadcast to ask for donations all the while telling you that its voluntary. If everyone stops donating surely the almighty would keep it going. I understand you need to house all the free labor and feed them. But at this point its just keeping the machine going. Its run like an MLM. They will run out of money at some point. The lawsuits alone are staggering. I hope their tax exempt status is revoked at some point. I'm gonna guess you are a member so i won't try to convince you of anything. You need to wake up on your own terms. As far as investment properties go. All real estate is an investment When you sell a property for over a billion dollars that you clearly didn't pay that amount for. Umm its an investment. I stand by my original comment
@@johnward3790 :So, do you watch the monthly Broadcasts and have experienced them begging for donations? I am Just curious. The Churches of Christendom are always sticking a plate under noses and begging for $. They also misuse to concept of Tithing 10% of your Gross income, not net income. Large organized Religious Organizations Invest in Rental Properties, Amusement parks, Hospitals etc., all of which are “For Profit” entities. We do NOT do those things. Not familiar with acronym MLM. Yes, there are lawsuit as in any organizations, and anyone guilty will be disciplined, up to and including Removal from the Christian Congregation, following the Apostle Paul’s directions in 1Cor 5. Yes, tangible property in that sense is an investment however it does Not pay monthly dividends. It pays a return only upon sale, and that is called Capital Gains. Property that is well maintained ALWAYS increases in value. However, remember that most of those properties purchased up to 80 years ago, were sorely in need of major overhauls, and many ongoing renovations over the years. When you deduct all the costs involved in doing so, the amount of “gain” is nowhere near your figure. My question to you is: Why such Hatred for Magazine and JWs? Are you involved in a kind of Crusade or Vendetta, maybe personal? Tell me then, according to all your known facts, what/which Religions are adhering the closest to the Bible standards, and Jesus teachings. You will not hurt my feelings. Your work is stellar. I rarely comment to avoid repeating myself... but you need to know how much I appreciate your presentation and comments. A lot of work distilled to the advantage of all of us. Thanks Lloyd! 😊👍
nah so obvious she's into women. We'll see in the next installment the first JW same sex marriage, at the Kingdom Hall. This is the JW version of Tipping the Velvet, or Brokeback mountain if you arent British
@Alec Alberti I got the impression she is into women as well. I'm a bi woman myself so that may be it but I most definitely got some vibes from Jade as if she was crushing on Nita. I can't explain why, exactly, it is mostly the way she smiles and that hug followed by looking Nita's way after taking a few steps in the opposite direction...it's how I'd act if I was into a girl. Several other comments agree with me.
Why does worldly stereotype Jade seem much more interesting than the stiff emotionless sister who makes sure her spoon is straight???
I'm OCD but still not a witness lol 🤣
She is also much nicer...Jade gives her seat to an old lady on the train.

Nita's cookie cutter life is making me want to puke. What they're not showing us is Nita taking her antidepressants.
Yep so true. why don’t they ever show these perfect witnesses getting their rent bill in the mail which they can’t pay because they are not working. Nita clearly has no job and no income whatsoever yet she has a really nice house. How does she pay for that and not have any anxiety about money?
How many JW's does it take to change a light bulb? None...just sit around and wait for "New Light."

Good joke! 😂

They keep putting a broken light bulb though 🤣🤣🤣
Jade will forever be the only kinda realistic portrayal of a person in a jw dramatization. She is literally the only character that has a likeable and somewhat relatable attitude. Everybody else act like aliens from another dimension.
She is also super nice. She gives her seat to an old lady on the train and no Jehovah told her to do it either.
They act like the people in the Movie, “The Body Snatchers”. Like some sort of alien plant life has taken their brain over.

EXACTLY!

Hope you left with her the same time!
What era are you from
How do I know you’re not the one lying?
Ask my sister. She'll tell the truth now. Or don't. Idc. Keep being a mindless drone. Good luck to u

How did Watchtower inadvertently create the greatest lesbian love story of 2020? 😂
@Alec Alberti dude seriously yeah

I knew his parents were no more so curiously asked him about the money he allocated for them.
I look forward to it. I just love the way you dissect their talks!
Anyone else notice the chemistry between Nita and Jade? It's kind of funny how Watchtower unintentionally crafted a rather cute pair. I'd like to think that their time in the org was rather short before running away together.
No I didn't but ..yes
Jade is the girl Nita needed to wake up :D
DUDE for as homophobic as they are....how did they not realize the chemistry?!
Deena Damico yep, interesting
"Let's try to find the bed, and we'll go from there." Oh dang, this just took a wild turn! Go Nita!
Haha! Damn, I was thinking the same thing! They actually have great chemistry!
Isn't it insane that in the dramatization Jade thinks she's making a new friend and Nita doesn't even realize her goal is to indoctrinate Jade, she doesn't even understand her goal is sinister. Incredible.

Yeah??
46:43 “This doesn´t make sense. Adam sins, then he loses that [eternal life]… what’s that got to do with me? I die because he’s stupid?”
That´s a very valid question and the answer is horrendous. Basically, we inherited the “sin condition” and the corresponding punishment: suffering and death. Well, who designed the inheriting mechanism in the first place? Even before birth, we are already sentenced to death, and we have to spend our life seeking forgiveness.
An absolutely immoral ideology.
Cristopher Hitchens put it very eloquently: “We are born sick and commanded to be well”
.
Adam after sinning was forced out of the Garden of Eden, meaning he was imperfect now... so us, since we are his descendants we are all imperfect.

The sister I was studying with was always saying to me: "After the book, baptism comes next" "The swimming pool is waiting for you, you are more than ready"
I was 14...got baptized at almost 17...I can't help to feel angry at myself.
Amen!!! Well said by you. Lloyd’s activism is...priceless!
🤔🇨🇺🇺🇸
Lloyd also went thru his challenges- (watch his initial videos)
Welcome to your freedom, be happy!

How can a woman stay with this cult when they do not allow women to have any Authority or really very little worth @all🤫🧠

Notice how Nita looked at her phone, nodded at her partner who nodded back enthusiastically, then she sent a message saying “almost done, home soon”. She didn’t send a message saying “I’m going to be late because I need to find a new disciple before I come home”. That sums up my experience of the ministry work i.e. “one hour and we’re out of here...just enough for the record”. She wasn’t there for the salvation of Jade, she was there for her own salvation. Efesios 5:8 Thank you for your reply. Please explain yourself better. I am speaking from 30 years experience. How about you?
Efesios 5:8 You talk about “truth” but you are not prepared to reveal your “true” identity. At least I am a face and do not hide behind a scripture as my identity. You are not ‘walking in the light’ of your chosen alias are you? You are hiding in the darkness of your alter ego. Maybe you should spend some more time in the ministry and less time watching RUclips. My point is that Jehovah’s Witnesses do just enough (in their own eyes) to gain salvation for themselves and they do not really care about the salvation of others. Are you a Jehovah’s Witness?

The Bethalites being cheap comment was actually pretty messed up considering how dirt poor they all are due to their abysmal salary.

He changed me."But he wants to come into your heart right now.Are you ready to make that change?-Are you hitting on me? -No, I'm not. -Okay, good, 'cause I just...That was, like, really hot, that whole speech."
Now yes!
(Sorry, I'm enthusiastic about this hobby of mine)
OK, finished it.
Such Chemistry between those two lesbians even the banter is flirty😂 rooting for this relationship all the way
"When you read the bible on its own terms...", I love this verbiage!
I use to feel bad because I couldn’t get a student to progress bc every assembly their student will get baptized or go to hall. This is unrealistic
I am screaming at the screen wanting to save the Jade character from the cult. "Nooooo!!! Run away!!!" 😁
run, Jade, run.
Wow! I don't even think of them anymore! I forgot that life. My mind and heart saw through it at a very early age. God is real. But not there.
@@kiwihans100 Mathew 6:33...Inside me.
@@kiwihans100 Yes. I do not care for religion. But the Kingdom is inside you!
It is too adorable! Can someone write a fanfic for this story? I should start one :)
@@jemts5586 HOLY COW THIS WOULD BE PERFECT SJSJHD
The thing about the tree of life in Genesis is really interesting. I have long wondered how it fits into the Garden of Eden narrative. Your theory sounds pretty good.
Something quite creepy about David Splane if you know what I mean 🤐
His face should be used in one of those spirit of Halloween 🎃 stores
the Stephen Lett guy is creepy, Tony Morris comes across as a bigoted narcissist. then the one black guy!, I think his name is Samuel Herd" is a mere "token" and he comes across fake too!
Am I the only one who laughed when Nita saw the room and whispered "With God everything is possible"?? my parents were so mad at me lol
y’all can not tell me that nita wasn’t crushing on jade
"There is nothing on this planet that can compare to the visible part of Jehovah's organization." - Can someone find and post a Mormon or Scientology propaganda video stating the same thing?
Or compare it to the Catholic Church!
So Nita doesn't have a job to do?? She doesn't go to school? This is why she has that much time on her hand
Maybe UK has really good welfare compared to the US?
I have a question: why does the org not protect women and children?
Comparable to wicked
And had then a five minute lecture from another brother, that the word ''Geil'' comes from gay culture (not homose3xual culture - especially male homosexuals) to describe a person they are sexually interested in (which is true, that is, where the word is based on but .... it has changed ) and that's why I shouldn't use it :D
Well - I use it sometime now ...because it is just a word
Lily Snape you silvertongue german you ;) i’m from the netherlands and we also have the word geil, but in here it is definitely not mainly used as an expression of joy or appreciation haha.
There should be a degree in what you are pointing out (your own deep research). People could study how cults work and how to avoid being brainwashed by them.
In regards to “not paying full price for damaged goods” humanity has paid an extraordinary price for 6000 years for a rule. Pretty heavy cost.
I don’t know how any witnesses have time to do all these things with one student.
Please just explain what the "gain" that you refer to, involves.
@@kuzinvknee3318 "gain" would be followers which translates to free labor and donations$$$. C'mon man you gotta see that. Real estate doesn't build itself
@@johnward3790 : All Real estate owned is used for worldwide preaching work, which includes printing facilities, producing digital information, producing videos, for onsite rooming/housing for all the thousands of volunteers, for all the expenses of operation including building facilities(/Real estate), for Building Kingdom Halls worldwide, for disaster relief and recovery etc. C'mon man, you must realize that. Donations are not Solicited, but are voluntary. There are NO Investment Properties.
As I said, I just seek truth and nothing more. Just exchanging information, opinion, and viewpoints, hopefully with some scriptural backing.
Anita and Jade make a really nice couple... I wanna see that story, much more realistic. They’re struggle to be together against all odds,
She did say "let's try to find the bed and start there". Totally good setup for the seduction. I'd like to see all their real parts from there.
Your work is stellar. I rarely comment to avoid repeating myself... but you need to know how much I appreciate your presentation and comments. A lot of work distilled to the advantage of all of us. Thanks Lloyd! 😊👍
Thank you so much Vince, always a pleasure to hear from you! 😀
Sad that Jade will probably end up with a ministerial servant 15 years her senior
Nah, Jade and Nita will run off together, so much chemistry. Jade is playing it smart, spend more time together and plan an escape together
nah so obvious she's into women.
I kid you not apparently this sister who’s maybe in her mid 30’s is marrying a 73yr old brother
she might just wait until after armageddon
