Yes, that is possible, but it's typically one of two things before that: simply getting used to the CPAP and/or mask fit. Your CPAP mask may need to be changed to one with minimal contact; such as the Fisher & Paykel Evora Nasal CPAP Mask instead of a full-face mask. Talk to your doctor about this option before they prescribe a new pressure setting altogether.
I’m trying, but I cannot tolerate the mask. I’ve tried just nose and full mask. I have severe claustrophobia AND severe sleep apnea. Sucks.
