What I want is for them to have bullet drop make sense, and not give long ammo more drop than medium or compact. Then I'll play the game again, otherwise I can't be bothered.

Really just kills the fun of the gunplay for me when full power rifles which shoot heavier bullets at a faster velocity, drops more than a tiny little pump action plinger like the Marathon.
ngl, I'm a 6* player and I feel like your take on avto is due to the personal experience (tho i guess literally everything is, lol). Personally I never play it, and sure it feels like that 'power weapon', but after numerous nerfs it recieved I genuinely almost never see it in my lobbies, though I understand the annoyance of having to face it, but it also feels like many times I've died to it is when I would've died to a shotgun as well lol, so didn't make a big difference. However your point on revive bolts I 100% agree with, and some of my friends would even agree all 200% x) as they say that they shouldn't be in the game in the first place. Hoping to see a positive change about it. As for the rest of the video, your points throughout are very valid and I agree with them! Great vid

As powerful they are, they're not an imbalanced nightmare ig, but avto is just so far ahead of the game's time (like two decades ahead) that it doesn't even feel right, not just from gameplay perspective...

After a brake of almost 1 year I came back and after not even 2 hours of gameplay.. i told myself almost everything you said, I can’t understand why the developers didn’t implement those thing already
These are all great points and I’d like to make some of my own! Something I would really like to see is community servers, I would love to own a bounty hunt or even a bounty clash server that I could customize and bring all my friends into for some good times! I absolutely love the PvP enabled shooting range at Fort, fighting your friends and testing loadouts with maybe a separate progression system would be awesome! As for something I hope I never see, I hate the current Trickshooter pact. Blademancer and Crackshot are possibly the worst traits they’ve ever come up with, blademancer has 0 counters, the amount of times I’ve been shot in the arm and ran behind cover just to die because they blinked at me is so frustrating. Crackshot is basically just reverting fanning, levering and duelies back to their pre-nerf state and it’s so annoying to die to them, plus they basically have 0 downside to taking either of them, they don’t fill a niche, they’re just too strong.
I think the only thing I'm really hoping for is more developers on Hunt. I've long suspected that most of Hunt's team has been taken and put onto the new Crysis game, so they're running with a tiny skeleton crew who are capable of little more than keeping the lights on and making new skins. It's the only thing that really explains the extremely slow response time for things like fixing bugs, re-adding the missing maps and weather systems, and creating requested features like the replay system or shooting range upgrades. You don't do that kind of thing intentionally, it is very obvious that it annoys your player-base and burns goodwill - so it must be a capability issue.
Crytek has a very well known issue with management. Any glassdoor review mentions it. If they have a small crew that doesnt explain why they release completely broken updates rather than just slowing down the amount of updates. Remember when they released an update that set everyones graphics to the lowest level? That only happens if you do zero testing or have such awful communication that its allowed to be released even though the issue was noticed during tests. It then took them 6 days to fix it. Any other company would have either rolled back the update or released a fix within hours. Something is very wrong at Crytek.
I don't think you're wrong that the problem is management, but I don't think it's a matter of incompetence. That could also be happening, but I see most of what has been going on with Hunt as intentional choices by people whose goal is to ship Crysis 4, and make a shit-ton of money, and not to make Hunt players happy. Now, I don't know for sure what's going on. Everything I'm saying is reading tea-leaves in my tin-foil hat - but here's what I think happened. I think the 1896 update was part of a plan to put Hunt into a kind of 'maintenance mode' between between summer 2024 and 2025 when Crysis is supposed to ship. I think they did this because they know that shipping an AAA game devours all available resources and that they were ~going~ to strip Hunt's team down to the bone. It was inevitable. They've shipped AAA games before, they know what it's like. So they made a plan - and the 1896 update was that plan. Did Hunt need a big engine update? Not really. It is prettier now, sure, but they must have known that nicer lighting and clouds are not going to move a lot of units on a six year old game - so why did they do it? Let's assume it's not incompetence or wasted resources. Assume they know what they're doing - why do it? I think the answer is that the 'engine update' was merging the renderer and most of the engine updates they built for Crysis 4 into Hunt. Why do THAT? So you can take Hunt's developers. If you take most of Hunt's developers and put them on a combined engine team, they're now helping you ship Crysis. If Hunt and Crysis are running the same technology, you don't need two technology teams. I don't think Hunt ever got those developers back. Now you might reasonably ask, "If they knew what they were doing - why was the 1896 update such a mess? Why didn't they wait until they had all the maps and weather systems updated? Why release when they did - in the state it was in?" This is the cynical part. They can't afford to spend any resources on Hunt until Crysis ships, especially not game design, level art, or level design resources. All of those, and more, are spoken for. Upgrading the maps to the new renderer would require work, sure, but it's a hundred times less work to update an existing map than create a new one. They know they can't give people ~nothing~ for a whole year, the game would stagnate and die, but they can't make ~new~ things. So what do they do? There's only one thing that makes sense from a business perspective. They intentionally take existing content away so they can give it back one at a time. With the time between new map rollouts, I expect we'll get Desalle back in March or April, and we'll get the weather systems back in May or June. Assuming that Crysis 4 is supposed to release in summer or early autumn 2025, that means they're be shipping the weather systems at around the same point that most content will be getting locked on Crysis and people like Level Artists, Game Designers, and Level Designers will be being released. Some of those people will go onto Crysis 4 maintenance / dlc, and some will be moved back to Hunt. That means that Hunt can run on mostly recycled content, with a skeleton crew maintaining it, for almost exactly one year. I think that's what they did, and I think that's why they did it. Why are the new updates so janky? All the QA testers are working on Crysis. Why does it take so long to fix known bugs? Why is the only new game mode a game mode that required effectively zero programming support? All the programmers are working on Crysis. Why was Harvest of Ghosts such a weak, watered down Event with no lore or story content? Because they had no resources. They made a few pumpkin models and recycled the previous event. Why is the only update that shipped without major bugs, and had new gameplay content the Post Malone update? Why was December the only time that we've had a bug/content fix in an event? Because they moved some resources back to Hunt to fulfill a contractual obligation with a major influencer. How long is this going to last? Until they ship Crysis 4, whenever that actually ends up being, or until they do another big influencer-based event.
If there is one thing i have learnt its that Crytek will never do the things necessary to actually improve hunt. They need better servers and better netcode. They need to do much more playtesting and bugfixing. They need to only release updates when they are finished. They need to stop just releasing broken things that mess with the entire meta. Instead they will keep doing events with battlepasses that are 90% filler, they will keep breaking the game and not releasing fixes on time and they will keep releasing overpowered items which later forces them to rebalance or even remove stuff just because they didnt put enough thought into it. I can guarantee now that the game will be in the exact same or worse state in 2026 as it is now. If there was betting on it i would bet everythign i own thats how sure i am.
Crytek improves Hunt all the time. This battlepass is very little filler. I would not bet against Crytek, bit maybe we have a different opinion on what makes Hunt fun 😊 I agree with your other points though.

I honestly don’t think it gives good enough information. If they’re gonna put the effort might as well make a proper replay that can be extremely helpful in so many ways. It’s obviously better than nothing 😂😂 but hey! One can dream 😁

Speaking from experience as a software dev here: The replay is "in development" while being "a feature theyd love to add" is because they think its a good idea, and have wrote some code and tried to make a proof of concept, but my guess is its a low priority especially with 2.0 release, getting some work here and there from a handful of devs or a solo dev over the last couple years. Which means its "in development" aka theyve got some work done on it, but its nowhere near ready for anything useful, and its a "feature theyd love to add" because it is, but its low priority.
(this is for what you want #6) and the banish speed it's actually taking away the suspense that actually somebody survived that somebody you overlooked and I would like to have it but it will actually not make the game better I understand the Practical use but I don't believe they will make the game better plus if somebody actually survived by doing this implementation it will give away the information that somebody is actually in the game with you and we will make you more alert
Ya I mentioned the potential “suspense” I just don’t think it’s worth it. If you kill a boss and find the banish going quick then that’s it. Yay guys we won. If you find it slow then ya let’s put traps and be ready or something. It still happens even that u kill most players in the map banish the boss. Nobody pushes you and it turns out there’s an afk player some solo dude farming AI or not even willing to engage 😂 and then you hear a gunshot in the distance 😂that suspense will still remain. I just think it’s a net waste of time and the potential suspense isn’t worth it.
(this is for what you want #2) the fact that you want to spectate after you exit the game it's actually dangerous because people will queue as solos or Duos either two people or four people from Discord and one thing will extract where the other stayed in the game and they will give valuable information and they will ruin the other players game and you will create suspicion of cheating and it already happens with solos dying and giving information to the other team or solo that lives in the game that "happens" to be in the same game
Well a team member extracting should obviously not be able to spectate. Just like when they die they can’t spectate enemies unless the whole team died. For people queuing up separately to get in the same game. Ya that’s a potential exploit, I agree.
It´s pretty Easy to avoid that if you can only watch the part of the game you took part in for example you extract 16:32 so you have 16:32 to watch and not more. It could also be kinda like in League of Legends you have a match history and can download the full match and it´s available until the next patch. There are plenty of easy ways to not make it possible to ruin games like that. But I understand your point, I just hope if they want to implement a feature like that, they do it the right way and watch on possible angles you can abuse it.
for the rest of the video I would agree with you and for the part where you want more quality of life improvements a lot of them are expensive because time takes time to do everything and in Germany, the bureaucracies are terrible in my opinion and Crytek doesn't really take good feedback from the players we already saw it with a UI ,and no I'm not a new player I have thousands of hours over 4k more particular and I played from a time when AVTO was a semi-automatic and quick-swap uppercut times
I play controller on PC, there ya go - I know there are quite a few from people posting about it on reddit but most are probably not in the highest mmr. I definitely don't want aim assist and don't want to play with others who have aim assist but I would like gyro so I can be a bit faster with my aim.
There is even a detailed roadmap somewhere? I never saw images with all the planned details. I've always heard developers saying what would be added before but never saw a list.
Good points but I absolutely disagree with the Avtomat, Im at 5-6 star elo (U.S East) and its about 1-5% chance youll get someone with an Avto in a game, and truthfully when it does happen I do get excited, it adds that "rare" spawn feeling to it
I disagree with revive bolt and avtos being removed. The avto is a older version of an assault rifle. This is good story telling. Revive bolts make body camping worthless. I think Rez bolts are good for the game.
I´m sry for my english i´m not a native speaker and i hope people understand what i mean when i complain about the game i fell in love with but the love slowly gets more and more cracks. I really love the game but i think they need to balance the burning mechanics. You have 2 tools to stop burning but with flare at least 3 to ignite a dead body. Maybe something like a body with is lying in fire burns at the speed it has atm and if you shoot with a flare or another tool it needs double the time. Or maybe a tool like a water bottle which cools the body and empties with burn duration and it saves health chunks for 1 minute and can be filled by being in water for 10 seconds. Another thing is the beetles. Why does a stalker beetle 50 dmg + bleed an poison make it back to 25 or at least 40 it was fine being faster. The burn beetle shouldn´t burn 25 instant make it to 20. Blademancer needs numbers idk why pulling out deals more than 70 dmg sometimes (source psychoghost died with nearly half hp in a new vid) make the dmg to 20 and nothing makes it stronger or remove the dmg entirely. i killed more with it than i got killed but it´s sometimes more frustrating than playing vs an Avto. Idk what they smoked that they implemented an silenced Sniper. How are they going for balances either. Since Uppercut got nerfed with Hunt 2.0 it was very rare seeing one and then they nerf it again. They nerfed High Velocity Ammo in speed numbers o bullets and damage. Thats fine but at the same time they make rifles like Springfield and Sparks really strong with a new trait and weapons which used to have their own good spot have nearly vanished. Winnie C (Frontier) was the best at levering with least spread but balanced because only 8 bullets. Idk why they implemented the Infantry L just to make it better in every point than the Ranger. Why should anyone play the Ranger if you have less bullet drop, more bullets, less recoil and the high Velocity Ammo is 25 m/s faster on the Infantry L. I feel like the game could be in a way better state. It´s nice to have comeback mechanics like Remedy, Rampage, the new chunk restoration shot, the med kit in the circus and i might forgot if there is another one. But atm people don´t really play the game i fell in love with people run around the map and farm stuff and don´t fight for bounties because it doesn´t matter if you want to prestige as fast as possible you want to avoid fights and i have done 2 prestiges in one day multiple times at the start of the event. I don´t blame anyone doing it like i did it myself because it´s a possible way. idk why crytek isn´t aware of those things ngl i did similar things at other events but with the "endless" token mechanic you can find 7 or more Hunter XP in one round with killing all the AI running around you need normally 2 rounds farming for a Level 50 hunter. And luck dependend 7 matches per prestige. If you do it as safe as possible you might end up at 10 matches per prestige but thats still fast af. I really fell in love with the game and have fun playing it since i started playing it, but there are more and more questionable decisions made for game balance and so on. The way things get balanced might be different in everyones opinion but i think most of the community wants changes for a better Hunt Showdown.

I was kinda sad about the Hunt's direction for the last year. I genuinely love this game, I spent 2400 hours playing it, it is probably unhealthy, but I still love it. Yet, last updates kept being a disappointement for me. For a few good things, there were whole trainwrecks of issues, starting with performance and ending with game's direction in general. The current event is the first one I am totally skipping and will install the game AFTER its end, because some event traits are just an insult outside of one good thing which is a buff of single-shot rifles (FINALLY). If I learned anything about the game industry in general is not to have expectations and hopes. Because my God you are going to be disappointed. But if you don't expect anything, you are not going to be disappointed. Outside of some ideas and wishes for the gameplay, I just want Fifield removed, for the love of God leave this game alone т_т But I do agree on almost everything you said in the video. ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE AVTO AND REVIVE BOLTS. Avto can be replaced with some expensive ahh semi-auto rifle that can be balanced out (Madsen self-loading rifle prototype from 1893, make it expensive, shooting a bit faster than Krag with Iron Repeater, give it some nasty recoil so it can't be spammed and make it special ammo, balance it out by built-in top-loading stripper clip so it is faster and smoother to reload compared to mag-fed rifles, and off you go). And revive bolts are just straight cancer. We reworked a Necromancer which was an overdue and was a well-executed rework to reduce stalemates, and then we just add an even more aggressive and spamier version of Necromancer that make Solo's lives even more miserable and creates even more stalemates lmao gg crytek xDDDDD
Hope is the only thing, hunt keeps going. After all the years, I know, this game will never be fixed, there will never be good servers. Crytek had one good idea, but cant work with it. Still like the game, but after every patch, they take away things, that made it unique. Sounds negativ? after 5 years, Thats the facts. Happy hunting
i enjoy the game (only clash now) i stopped buying skins since the ghost face pack released and i don't bother with the battle pass now. I hope they stop doing cheesy tacky skins that don't fit the theme of the game. i will still play the game but i wont invest as much time or any money if i keep seeing the focus on skins instead of bug fixes and game improvements. i hope to see TRUE crossplay for consoles, and better netcode so the desync isn't soo bad. maybe a way to stop the extracts for 1 min if you go to the center of the map to prevent bounty from running.
Hear me out. I want them to remove the 5 minute timer after bounty extracts. If your like me on the edge of poverty its nice to gather money and traits. If you choose not contend the bounty because of distance or they have a sredder. Or if your in a gun fight already and the bounty team leaves your still in a fight and have to just sprint to the extract. Its dumb give me a full 45 mins like the og days
I get that point of view. But I think their decision is based on the overall health of the game. It’s meant to be a tense stressful high stakes game and it would seem counterproductive for them to allow what they would deem passive behavior. Don’t get me wrong there’s already tons of that in the game. 😂 But that’s my explanation to why I think they wouldn’t get rid of it.
I understand that point. But when someone spawns on a solo bounty and they have an extract right there. You get a 45 min match turn into a 7ish minute match. It's really dumb to spawn in and grab your first clue then they banish and they are out before you can even cross the map
For the love of God, this one's basic: No more silent abilities/guns/anything. In a game that's all about sound how could they introduce an option that makes you completely silent when walking. Especially when walking on metal.
(this for #1 What you dont want) I would say I do not agree with this, although they can minimize it a little bit more so it happens less often that is a good thing I still believe that it's the Player's Choice to make PVP instead of going for the objective and there are a lot of times that you just can run away from the fight and go for the objective if you don't want to play the objective first that is your problem but at the end of the day it's the players choice that determines the results the opposite can happen too where you find the boss first and all the extractions are on the opposite side and people will just wait for you to reach the middle of the map and will set traps or ambush just for you even though you kill the boss you never heard anyone fight because everybody knew that you would cross the middle of the map somewhere so they spread out and decide how they will kill you before you even know it
Well you can’t always run from a fight and even if you do you’re just delaying being sandwiched. It’s not like when you run and leave other players alive they’ll forget you exist. They also know where the boss is and it will be a bounty clash if everyone just drops the fights and runs to the boss 🤷🏻♂️😂 I think for your second scenario. That’s the game. You should expect traps you should expect extraction campers and you have a means to deal with them, so that’s not the worst scenario of the 2 in my opinion.
I'm not excited. I'm expecting more disappointment. Probably the end of me playing Hunt in 2025... Pretty sad after playing for close to 1600h since 2020 and liking the game for most of the time
i dont like the point that you addressed by forcing a ping limit one of the reasons that let me quit tarkov is moving 3 meters and getting server connection lost to an extent that made me change my in game name to SRVR-CNXN-LOST and to add to that when i sometimes i disconnect in hunt i keep loading for minuets to go back with a no sound or with ultra speed hunter LOL or get a black screen bug OR i loose my hunter so forcing a ping limit gonna kill the game for me and many many others the game will become unplayable
The biggest thing i want right now is a HUD addition for traits, fully customizable. Im currently playing with Weapon slots shown on and i want his for traits too. Dont make me press Tab to check, if i got Dauntless or not. Its mostly to late then😅

Dont waste your time thinking how they can improve their game, just jump to other similars, when they lost players they lost money and they only learn with it, like im happy new games like HUNGER apear in the market, or BEAUTIFUL LIGHT. I don't even really notice bullet drop lol... You won't unless you are shooting from extreme distance and then it isn't even difficult to compensate

I think they did this because they know that shipping an AAA game devours all available resources and that they were ~going~ to strip Hunt's team down to the bone. It was inevitable. They've shipped AAA games before, they know what it's like.
So they made a plan - and the 1896 update was that plan.
Did Hunt need a big engine update? Not really. It is prettier now, sure, but they must have known that nicer lighting and clouds are not going to move a lot of units on a six year old game - so why did they do it?
Let's assume it's not incompetence or wasted resources. Assume they know what they're doing - why do it?
I think the answer is that the 'engine update' was merging the renderer and most of the engine updates they built for Crysis 4 into Hunt.
Why do THAT?
So you can take Hunt's developers. If you take most of Hunt's developers and put them on a combined engine team, they're now helping you ship Crysis. If Hunt and Crysis are running the same technology, you don't need two technology teams.
I don't think Hunt ever got those developers back.
Now you might reasonably ask, "If they knew what they were doing - why was the 1896 update such a mess? Why didn't they wait until they had all the maps and weather systems updated? Why release when they did - in the state it was in?"
This is the cynical part. They can't afford to spend any resources on Hunt until Crysis ships, especially not game design, level art, or level design resources. All of those, and more, are spoken for.
Upgrading the maps to the new renderer would require work, sure, but it's a hundred times less work to update an existing map than create a new one. They know they can't give people ~nothing~ for a whole year, the game would stagnate and die, but they can't make ~new~ things.
So what do they do?
There's only one thing that makes sense from a business perspective. They intentionally take existing content away so they can give it back one at a time.
With the time between new map rollouts, I expect we'll get Desalle back in March or April, and we'll get the weather systems back in May or June. Assuming that Crysis 4 is supposed to release in summer or early autumn 2025, that means they're be shipping the weather systems at around the same point that most content will be getting locked on Crysis and people like Level Artists, Game Designers, and Level Designers will be being released. Some of those people will go onto Crysis 4 maintenance / dlc, and some will be moved back to Hunt.
That means that Hunt can run on mostly recycled content, with a skeleton crew maintaining it, for almost exactly one year.
I think that's what they did, and I think that's why they did it.
Why are the new updates so janky?
All the QA testers are working on Crysis.
Why does it take so long to fix known bugs? Why is the only new game mode a game mode that required effectively zero programming support?
All the programmers are working on Crysis.
Why was Harvest of Ghosts such a weak, watered down Event with no lore or story content?
Because they had no resources. They made a few pumpkin models and recycled the previous event.
Why is the only update that shipped without major bugs, and had new gameplay content the Post Malone update? Why was December the only time that we've had a bug/content fix in an event?
Because they moved some resources back to Hunt to fulfill a contractual obligation with a major influencer.
How long is this going to last?
Until they ship Crysis 4, whenever that actually ends up being, or until they do another big influencer-based event.
If there is one thing i have learnt its that Crytek will never do the things necessary to actually improve hunt. They need better servers and better netcode. They need to do much more playtesting and bugfixing. They need to only release updates when they are finished. They need to stop just releasing broken things that mess with the entire meta. Instead they will keep doing events with battlepasses that are 90% filler, they will keep breaking the game and not releasing fixes on time and they will keep releasing overpowered items which later forces them to rebalance or even remove stuff just because they didnt put enough thought into it. I can guarantee now that the game will be in the exact same or worse state in 2026 as it is now. If there was betting on it i would bet everythign i own thats how sure i am.
Crytek improves Hunt all the time.
This battlepass is very little filler.

I honestly don’t think it gives good enough information. If they’re gonna put the effort might as well make a proper replay that can be extremely helpful in so many ways.

Speaking from experience as a software dev here: The replay is "in development" while being "a feature theyd love to add" is because they think its a good idea, and have wrote some code and tried to make a proof of concept, but my guess is its a low priority especially with 2.0 release, getting some work here and there from a handful of devs or a solo dev over the last couple years. Which means its "in development" aka theyve got some work done on it, but its nowhere near ready for anything useful, and its a "feature theyd love to add" because it is, but its low priority.

(this is for what you want #6) and the banish speed it's actually taking away the suspense that actually somebody survived that somebody you overlooked and I would like to have it but it will actually not make the game better I understand the Practical use but I don't believe they will make the game better plus if somebody actually survived by doing this implementation it will give away the information that somebody is actually in the game with you and we will make you more alert
Ya I mentioned the potential “suspense” I just don’t think it’s worth it. If you kill a boss and find the banish going quick then that’s it. Yay guys we won. If you find it slow then ya let’s put traps and be ready or something. It still happens even that u kill most players in the map banish the boss. Nobody pushes you and it turns out there’s an afk player some solo dude farming AI or not even willing to engage 😂 and then you hear a gunshot in the distance 😂that suspense will still remain.
I just think it’s a net waste of time and the potential suspense isn’t worth it.
(this is for what you want #2) the fact that you want to spectate after you exit the game it's actually dangerous because people will queue as solos or Duos either two people or four people from Discord and one thing will extract where the other stayed in the game and they will give valuable information and they will ruin the other players game and you will create suspicion of cheating and it already happens with solos dying and giving information to the other team or solo that lives in the game that "happens" to be in the same game
Well a team member extracting should obviously not be able to spectate. Just like when they die they can’t spectate enemies unless the whole team died.
For people queuing up separately to get in the same game. Ya that’s a potential exploit, I agree.
It´s pretty Easy to avoid that if you can only watch the part of the game you took part in for example you extract 16:32 so you have 16:32 to watch and not more. It could also be kinda like in League of Legends you have a match history and can download the full match and it´s available until the next patch. There are plenty of easy ways to not make it possible to ruin games like that. But I understand your point, I just hope if they want to implement a feature like that, they do it the right way and watch on possible angles you can abuse it.
for the rest of the video I would agree with you and for the part where you want more quality of life improvements a lot of them are expensive because time takes time to do everything and in Germany, the bureaucracies are terrible in my opinion and Crytek doesn't really take good feedback from the players we already saw it with a UI ,and no I'm not a new player I have thousands of hours over 4k more particular and I played from a time when AVTO was a semi-automatic and quick-swap uppercut times

I play controller on PC, there ya go - I know there are quite a few from people posting about it on reddit but most are probably not in the highest mmr. I definitely don't want aim assist and don't want to play with others who have aim assist but I would like gyro so I can be a bit faster with my aim.
There is even a detailed roadmap somewhere? I never saw images with all the planned details. I've always heard developers saying what would be added before but never saw a list.

Good points but I absolutely disagree with the Avtomat, Im at 5-6 star elo (U.S East) and its about 1-5% chance youll get someone with an Avto in a game, and truthfully when it does happen I do get excited, it adds that "rare" spawn feeling to it

I disagree with revive bolt and avtos being removed.
The avto is a older version of an assault rifle. This is good story telling.
Revive bolts make body camping worthless. I think Rez bolts are good for the game.
I´m sry for my english i´m not a native speaker and i hope people understand what i mean when i complain about the game i fell in love with but the love slowly gets more and more cracks.
I really love the game but i think they need to balance the burning mechanics. You have 2 tools to stop burning but with flare at least 3 to ignite a dead body. Maybe something like a body with is lying in fire burns at the speed it has atm and if you shoot with a flare or another tool it needs double the time. Or maybe a tool like a water bottle which cools the body and empties with burn duration and it saves health chunks for 1 minute and can be filled by being in water for 10 seconds.
Another thing is the beetles. Why does a stalker beetle 50 dmg + bleed an poison make it back to 25 or at least 40 it was fine being faster. The burn beetle shouldn´t burn 25 instant make it to 20. Blademancer needs numbers idk why pulling out deals more than 70 dmg sometimes (source psychoghost died with nearly half hp in a new vid) make the dmg to 20 and nothing makes it stronger or remove the dmg entirely. i killed more with it than i got killed but it´s sometimes more frustrating than playing vs an Avto.
Idk what they smoked that they implemented an silenced Sniper. How are they going for balances either. Since Uppercut got nerfed with Hunt 2.0 it was very rare seeing one and then they nerf it again. They nerfed High Velocity Ammo in speed numbers o bullets and damage. Thats fine but at the same time they make rifles like Springfield and Sparks really strong with a new trait and weapons which used to have their own good spot have nearly vanished. Winnie C (Frontier) was the best at levering with least spread but balanced because only 8 bullets. Idk why they implemented the Infantry L just to make it better in every point than the Ranger. Why should anyone play the Ranger if you have less bullet drop, more bullets, less recoil and the high Velocity Ammo is 25 m/s faster on the Infantry L.
I feel like the game could be in a way better state. It´s nice to have comeback mechanics like Remedy, Rampage, the new chunk restoration shot, the med kit in the circus and i might forgot if there is another one. But atm people don´t really play the game i fell in love with people run around the map and farm stuff and don´t fight for bounties because it doesn´t matter if you want to prestige as fast as possible you want to avoid fights and i have done 2 prestiges in one day multiple times at the start of the event. I don´t blame anyone doing it like i did it myself because it´s a possible way. idk why crytek isn´t aware of those things ngl i did similar things at other events but with the "endless" token mechanic you can find 7 or more Hunter XP in one round with killing all the AI running around you need normally 2 rounds farming for a Level 50 hunter. And luck dependend 7 matches per prestige. If you do it as safe as possible you might end up at 10 matches per prestige but thats still fast af.
I really fell in love with the game and have fun playing it since i started playing it, but there are more and more questionable decisions made for game balance and so on. The way things get balanced might be different in everyones opinion but i think most of the community wants changes for a better Hunt Showdown.

I was kinda sad about the Hunt's direction for the last year. I genuinely love this game, I spent 2400 hours playing it, it is probably unhealthy, but I still love it.
Yet, last updates kept being a disappointement for me. For a few good things, there were whole trainwrecks of issues, starting with performance and ending with game's direction in general.
The current event is the first one I am totally skipping and will install the game AFTER its end, because some event traits are just an insult outside of one good thing which is a buff of single-shot rifles (FINALLY).
If I learned anything about the game industry in general is not to have expectations and hopes. Because my God you are going to be disappointed. But if you don't expect anything, you are not going to be disappointed.
Outside of some ideas and wishes for the gameplay, I just want Fifield removed, for the love of God leave this game alone т_т
But I do agree on almost everything you said in the video. ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE AVTO AND REVIVE BOLTS.
Avto can be replaced with some expensive ahh semi-auto rifle that can be balanced out (Madsen self-loading rifle prototype from 1893, make it expensive, shooting a bit faster than Krag with Iron Repeater, give it some nasty recoil so it can't be spammed and make it special ammo, balance it out by built-in top-loading stripper clip so it is faster and smoother to reload compared to mag-fed rifles, and off you go).
And revive bolts are just straight cancer. We reworked a Necromancer which was an overdue and was a well-executed rework to reduce stalemates, and then we just add an even more aggressive and spamier version of Necromancer that make Solo's lives even more miserable and creates even more stalemates lmao gg crytek xDDDDD
Hope is the only thing, hunt keeps going.
After all the years, I know, this game will never be fixed, there will never be good servers.
Crytek had one good idea, but cant work with it.

i enjoy the game (only clash now) i stopped buying skins since the ghost face pack released and i don't bother with the battle pass now. I hope they stop doing cheesy tacky skins that don't fit the theme of the game. i will still play the game but i wont invest as much time or any money if i keep seeing the focus on skins instead of bug fixes and game improvements. i hope to see TRUE crossplay for consoles, and better netcode so the desync isn't soo bad. maybe a way to stop the extracts for 1 min if you go to the center of the map to prevent bounty from running.
Hear me out. I want them to remove the 5 minute timer after bounty extracts. If your like me on the edge of poverty its nice to gather money and traits. If you choose not contend the bounty because of distance or they have a sredder. Or if your in a gun fight already and the bounty team leaves your still in a fight and have to just sprint to the extract. Its dumb give me a full 45 mins like the og days
I get that point of view. But I think their decision is based on the overall health of the game. It’s meant to be a tense stressful high stakes game and it would seem counterproductive for them to allow what they would deem passive behavior. Don’t get me wrong there’s already tons of that in the game. 😂 But that’s my explanation to why I think they wouldn’t get rid of it.
I understand that point. But when someone spawns on a solo bounty and they have an extract right there. You get a 45 min match turn into a 7ish minute match. It's really dumb to spawn in and grab your first clue then they banish and they are out before you can even cross the map
the controller integration in this game is really bad, so you have nothing to worry about. it was so bad it made me get a pc.
For the love of God, this one's basic: No more silent abilities/guns/anything. In a game that's all about sound how could they introduce an option that makes you completely silent when walking. Especially when walking on metal.

(this for #1 What you dont want) I would say I do not agree with this, although they can minimize it a little bit more so it happens less often that is a good thing I still believe that it's the Player's Choice to make PVP instead of going for the objective and there are a lot of times that you just can run away from the fight and go for the objective if you don't want to play the objective first that is your problem but at the end of the day it's the players choice that determines the results the opposite can happen too where you find the boss first and all the extractions are on the opposite side and people will just wait for you to reach the middle of the map and will set traps or ambush just for you even though you kill the boss you never heard anyone fight because everybody knew that you would cross the middle of the map somewhere so they spread out and decide how they will kill you before you even know it
Well you can’t always run from a fight and even if you do you’re just delaying being sandwiched. It’s not like when you run and leave other players alive they’ll forget you exist. They also know where the boss is and it will be a bounty clash if everyone just drops the fights and runs to the boss 🤷🏻♂️😂
I think for your second scenario. That’s the game. You should expect traps you should expect extraction campers and you have a means to deal with them, so that’s not the worst scenario of the 2 in my opinion.

i dont like the point that you addressed by forcing a ping limit
one of the reasons that let me quit tarkov is moving 3 meters and getting server connection lost to an extent that made me change my in game name to SRVR-CNXN-LOST
and to add to that when i sometimes i disconnect in hunt i keep loading for minuets to go back with a no sound or with ultra speed hunter LOL or get a black screen bug OR i loose my hunter
so forcing a ping limit gonna kill the game for me and many many others the game will become unplayable
