Fire under one of our Jeeps due to pine needles

You can see the smoke as I approach the Jeep.
It was raining hard earlier in the ride today. Some of the puddles were full of water as we drove through them and the water had a lot of pine needles in it. All of us picked up a bunch of the needles. They got stuck in multiple places under our Jeeps. This Jeep just happened to trap some against the Exhaust System and caught on fire while we were riding. Two of our riders had fire extinguishers at the ready even before I could get back to them. Someone was able to reach under the Jeep and removed the burning pine needles before anyone had to use a fire extinguisher.
This could have resulted in a brand new Jeep being destroyed and possibly a wildfire!
The quick actions of multiple people working together saved the day. Always be aware of hot exhaust and dry grass and other vegetation. Even though we picked up the pine needles in the water it dried out and still caught fire.
