I've seen a lot of people take a crack at using winterglass to its fullest, but i think yours is by far the best. You really have a handle on how to get the most out of the new lightning spears, while still pushing orbs (most streamers seem to just go all in on one or the other). Great stuff, cant wait to see how you optimise it in the coming weeks!
What was your leveling build for this? I’ll finally be able to play on Friday and was thinking of doing a hydra firewall build. First time playing sorc so any tips/tricks would be great! Mekuna has best 1-50 build via firewall, and then i shifted into blizzard with glacial aspect when i found it. I utilized the chain lightning enhancement with the new axial conduit you get from seasonal rewards and recharging aspect to support the mana cost of blizzard. Essentially every time chain lightning bounces you get 3 mana, but on normal chain lightning it only bounces a max of 5 times, with axial it can bounce 44 times because of the intrinsic. So with three blizzard cast you spend 120 mana, and then the chain lightning can give 132 mana back + your natural regen. Once you get fractured winterglass + prodigy aspect you win the game. Good luck friend!
You mention in the video pure spear or orb might be the better route, but hybrid looks way cool, do you think the hybrid option will be super behind the pure options?
After spending 6 hours doing giga math and charting diminishing returns on a linear additive value that modifies two multiplying co-efficients (Which in turn creates a quadratic scaler), as well as 8 different variations and charting lilith kill times... I will say: Looks like hybrid is giga outscaling the pure variants of either build. I could be totally wrong as I have been before. But hybrid is kind of out of control. I love the idea of fireball but man you can't see much on screen. Also, do you confirm Pit bosses HP is bugged as I've heard? Apparently they haven't nerfed HP as announced and it seems it all reverted to the setup of early days of S4
You may be the reason I swap to Wand/Focus. I have tried the staff builds (2 variants I have seen so far) and it seems if one is lucky enough to get similar gauntlets to yours, this can really top the other builds out there.
Is this a variant of the lightning spear on maxroll? That and this seems similar. Currently rocking chain lightning (got the oants and only lvl 50). Build looks really fun and visually spectacular. The real question is Frozen Orb or Lightning Spear the main damage? Seems like it should be FO since more points are put there.
I've done some rigorous testing and math with both and which way to lean towards in the end game. The answer may or may not surprise you. But build guide will come out with some serious nerd math illustrating best build path. As for maxroll's version I honestly don't know. I don't look at maxroll guide's, I just use the planner because it's the best planner in my opinion.
@@OperatorOtter Appreciate the reply. I got the necklace at sacred. Currently in WT4. Is it viable to jump to this build with just the neck or are there other requirements? Seems like the neck is the key piece to at least get started.
I did a T8 with this build, Killed the council in 1 min 30 sec solo. And it's far from optimized. Future of build is looking to have 4x more damage and nutty defensive power. I will be streaming today in about 30 minutes mapping out EVERYTHING horde and inputting data into sheet to make a video about the mechanics and scaling in rewards to be released today. @@OperatorOtter right on and question I had fist of fate on and just found a Greater afix glove with crit chance god roll, witch one is better and is wand better or staff and off hand ?..

Was about to reply haha. But ye: 03:53 for explanation on solving that. I showed a couple people in stream today how to make it endlessly cast frozen orb with zero resource generation or RoSS and just the prodigy aspect. It's uh... it's pretty gooood.

I changed url of planner so you should be good now, but in bottom left it has tabs with different version. Guess it auto selected the "mid" version.
