Ty Mekuna! Your guides helped me clear pit 150 this week for the title. The only change I made was dropping electrocution and putting the 4 points into flame shield. In combination with flame shiled duration on pants, it gave me a little more luck and forgiveness face tanking the boss. Lol Ggz!
Thank you Mekuna for this build ! The sad part is you have to have min-max almost every item to achieve this kind of damage. Winterglass alone needs at least two GA so even you need to be very lucky or rich in game to buy these gear
I had a petfect rolled no GA amulet. I did infernal T8 while carrying 3 players with ease. As Mekuna said, if you want to push pit 130+, then yes, you need GA's.

If we can't hit the 89% attck speed breakpoint with .8 cooldown on amulet whats needed to make sure we hit the next breakpoint? This is what most of us will be aiming for and is more achievable.
Those GA are incredible, there is no way I can find them except if I pay. I am farming and trying to get better armor but with no luck. I am happy with what I have and I don't plan to pay for anything. Blizzard thinks that we are all RUclipsrs and our main job is playing this game. Anyway, nice video as always.
I did find the same staff as the one in this build, it's just luck. I'm a casual gamer myself, and I admit that the staff was by far the best find in this season. But they do drop. As for the rest: MW'd my sorc to 12 and did a T8 horde so I'm content with the build I have now. While this latest version is without doubt a lot stronger, I'm done farming and masterworking for this season with two builds (sorc and Andariel Rogue) at MW12. They're not elite but they get the job done. As you said, Diablo is not my job :)
I have 7.47 cool down on lightning spear and 1800 crit damage. Maybe it's my playstyle or maybe I need more crit chance. Working on that next, but your guides are showing me what to aim for. This gives me a reason to grind and aim for min Max, thank you
Thanks for you guide, that's what made me go lightning sorc! did finish this build but instead i took the tal ring 3xcdr out with a ''attack speed crit crit chance ring'' with potion i have 2583% crit dmg. ''guess you tried that already'' I do tier8 boss 100% faster without tal ring.
Thanks for the this great build. Tbh, I was not too frilled with the last version.....I saw the potential, but could not replicate the benefits. HOWEVER, OMG, this version is just perfect at its best! Yes, it is still gear dependent; and heavily relied on RNG on both gear drops and masterworks. Nevertheless, with half shit gear, I was able to clear T8 with minimal stress. With this build, I can see why folks have ranked LS sorc is #1. Thank you so much for this build!
I was barley able to to clear a T5 Infernal before I met Mekuna. After one video and a couple days gathering gear I was able to afk T8 infernal and clear a 130 pit. Mekuna has completely transformed this game for me.
Whenever i see that amulet i just skip, prices on diablo trade are fucking ridiculous, just with 1 GA and people already want 90 Billion, fucking greedy and pathetic

Like attack Speed base + unstable + elixir = 89.3 and crit chance base + esu aspect % + LS 15% = 100% 39%+ from Shako + Rings LS CR tempers = 5.95- LS cast? I understand from the video the attack Speed I think but you said the LS splintering energy works differently... it's off your base crit chance? I'm not overly sure how the Crit Chance and Esu's works, when I'm casting and , look and it says 94% my base is 75 and my Esu's is 38%. I hope I made sense. Also 1 pit push question, would it be beneficial to switch to Tibault's Will + Overflowing for when you get to the bosses or no? I feel like I've hit all the breakpoints and still struggle on the bosses 135+.
Following this build...does anyone else have enough Dex to activate the additional 10% bonus lightning damage on the rare Galvanic Catalyst node? I can't seem to do it unless I substitute a topaz in the armor for a emerald, but not sure it that is worth it.
i swapped the life tempering on pants with the ice shield duration then secondary binded the ice shield skill button on numpad 1 (numpad on > hold numpad 1 > numpad off > release numpad 1) now i have perma casting on the ice shield
Hey can you have an explanation on the bosses to target and the mechanics, for myself stuck at pit 137 can clear mobs in under 3mins and 134 complete under 8mins, but always have issues once the boss health left under 25%. Your build have saved ton of time and so fun to play!! Most trusted content creator for diablo!!
You just need to start pit fishing the correct boss for pits >135. The Scourge and the Marauder is the best but you also need good RNG to spawn the best Echo as well. The echo with the most predictable telegraphed random red floor or the flashing red phantom red lightning attacks.. Just have to time flame shield and really get close to the boss to keep conjuration stacks high and make sure your ice armor is always refreshed.. In order for you to do that without GA CDR Shako, you just need to keep casting frozen orb once a while to get the ice armor always up i.e. semi permanently. Just check out other sorc pit clears on youtube there are plenty.
In personal experience I was pushing 100 pits pretty easily with this build 8/12 masterwork for most of my gear and switched to a staff with less double cast spear chance and it’s night and day between having that 25% upgrade from masterwork and not having it. Conjuración cooldown is importante in my experience but less important than the extra few spears you cast with the other affix
Hey there Mekuna! Thank you so much for the guide, I was able to clear to Pit 153 with your help! I did have 2 questions though, now that I am trying to absolutely min/max this setup. First, I've read that Splintering Energy does not benefit from Lightning Spear's intrinsic +15% Critical Strike Chance and therefore 85% isn't enough and you should push for as close to 100% Critical Strike Chance as possible, do you know if this is true? And second, is there a way I can calculate the damage scaling of my Critical Strike Damage? I was able to get mine from 2,611 to 2,678 and I was wondering if there is a way to measure the change in my damage with that increase. (I've read that even a few percentage changes on the high end can have significant changes on your damage, but no one has provided an equation or way to calculate just how much and I was wondering if you happened to know). Thank you again!
I have the mythic helmet but not the mythic chest. How should I build my hero? Need a substitute chest piece until I find the item. Suggestions? The "early" game build doesn't have any mythic so I assume my situation is somewhere in the middle

I think it’s because you need GA cd shako, I’m struggling with the same stats too no GA shako. The only way is probably to triple masterwork a max tempered 12.5s cd spear on ring x2
Tripple crir on both rings on LS cooldown gets you around 5.5s with normal shako. And you can cast LS basically all the time. You loose a little crit dmg and atk speed not at breakpoint, but it's still a beast.
@@Andras_Go Ok so I had so many sparks that I was able to craft shako with GA on CDR. Got two on LS CDR on mw and still kept 2,1k on crit dmg. Now LS CD is 5 sec. Can't be more happy.
I still have no ga shako but managed to triple mw one ring and double mw a second ring for 5.87 seconds below the 5.95s. Still hoping for a ga cd shako for under 5.15s breakpoint
Hi Mekuna :) Following you build but need a better winterglass with 2 GA in conjuration and conjurations cooldown... ring of starless skies doesnt work in place of tal rasha ring??? with starless skies i have more crit chance and attack speed, feel more confortable killing than tal rasha ring... current i have (unbuffed in town): with tal rasha ring: - attack speed: 43.9% - Crit chance: 66.3% - Crit dmg: 2191.5% - lightning dmg: 455.1% With starless skies: - attack speed: 78% - Crit chance: 87.5% - Crit dmg: 2191.5% - lightning dmg: 346.4%
This was quite helpful. I think I had too much attack speed, but I need more cooldown, because I can't reach the breakpoint on cooldown with regular Shako no GA. I have question about the winter glass. Is GA 3x mw 0.8 and aspect 65 max sufficient without GA on conjuration mastery if it has +4 for pushing up 150 and how impactful is if the nonphysical damage and double cast is not high roll. I can reach the attack speed with the pot, crit I need more (esu 38 on boots) and my cooldown on spear is stil lhigh 6.5 atm I think.
I'm at 5.5 CD, hit all the other stat breakpoints except for crit dmg (2400) and conjuration mastery is not GA. Somehow I'm still only able to clear pit 143.
Mekuna is also just a really good player. Avoiding damage, optimal positioning, etc. that us normies dont have the ability to do. Also, this isn't his pit push variant shown in the video. The gear he shows in the video is for general content. His pit push variant has Raiment of the Infinite for extra damage, drops Tal rasha for an extra aspect and stats ect. that squeezes out every speck of damage that is not needed in general content because, as said in the video, with his general content variant, everything dies too fast.

Mate how i have nearly mastered every stat except i dont have such a perfect amulet but i cant get past pit 128. Well done on that 143 wish i could do it .I clear the pit for 2 min and than cant kill the boss
What about movement speed on tyreals might for extra crit from esu better than the damage reduction? You could also do movement on esu instead of crit damage and get 100% crit cap
I have this strange issue,. i have over the cap on a-s, and crit chance. Just lacking some crit damage. I have 5.00 sec Ls cd now, and everything. But,. my lighting spear does not cast alot of the time. Even without me using frosen orb cast. the cd /image above my char is up, but it does not cast. I have to rais my finger from the keyboard button, and press again. Even if i have the auto cast option on etc. This means, i never get above 26-30 maxs stacks at bosses. What am i doing wrong? ive done pit 140, bit cant get passed 141 max. Depending a bit ofc on if i awoid stacks etc. But its just not enough damage cus of the low conj stacks. Even at the training dummy, i cant get over 39-42 conjurations on multiple dummies,. 46 to 49 as highest. iam guessing its my somewhat low rolls on the 2 bottom lines on the winterglass? Rest conj mastery is max, and ga. conj cd is ga and orange.
Curious. How important is AS? LS is based off cool down so I traded out one of my AS affixes for intelligence as I thought it would be more useful. Is that the reason why I’m not hitting 55 conjurations? I have GA shako and critted 3x On CD, same for tal rashas and winter glass - all GAs. I have the 5 second lightning spear. Another thing I did was traded LS lucky hit on my gloves to lucky hit to freeze, as I have a 90% frozen orb explosion to conjure and we have a few damage while frozen passives.

Hello Mekuna, Thanks for this detail breakdown. Do you know how much DPS i loss by having (89.3% attack speed + 0.7second cool down on amulet + 5 second LS cooldown) instead of (89.3% attack speed + 0.8 second cool down on amulet + 5 second LS cooldown)?
Is it not possible to have 100% uptime on ultimate with just max cdr on gear + cdr from ice blades? Is it possible to swap fpr snowveiled and still have 100% uptime?
But why do you need crackling energy from the passive and chain lightning if you're running Vyr's? Do you ever swap to Overflowing or its maybe just for the glyph?
also, if we get dexterity GAs on other non uber/mythic equipment on rogue like rings with the crits and crit chances, it should improve further the build right?

If i dont have a GA Shako (cooldown) but i do have GA winterglass (0.8) , would you say having lightning spear below 5.50sec cooldown is good for pushing pit or shoud i aim for something more ?
Surely the lucky hit chance from fists of fate helps with fractured winterglass frozen orbs? Also I'm not sure it's worth tempering lightning spear lucky hit chance, it never seems to proc for me with over 100% lucky hit chance.
By running Fists of fate, you lose out on Storm swell aspect, which is a lot of multiplicative damage. The only thing that Fists help with is that you ramp up faster on a single target. So you dont have to throw out as many frozen orbs manually. Basically, you can choose quality of life on single target vs. damage.
Can anyone tell me what's updated in the pit push planner? It looks the same as the last one. Also i see that you are using dex affix in your pants but it's not showing in the updated planner.
Why not using Summoned Lightning Spear instead of Invoked, for more damage? Since you're using crackling energy, might as well gain an added benefit from it, no?
Is "mana shield" in the skill tree not good (every time you spend 100 mana you gain (10%x3) DMG reduction for 5s) Is like 3 frozen orb casts over 5s a big dps loss for those extra 30% DR?
@@Mekuna7 I see I'm at 142 pit but reached all the thresholds and have about 2.4k crit dmg. I see the skill difference in how close and still you stand while doing dps/building stacks compared to how scared I am of unneeded boss hits and stuff. I'll learn the mechanics eventually just had that thought because of it :) Edit (I sacrificed DPS but gained confidence lol used Tyrael and did 142 with 7min to spare lmao I'll get back when I can dodge properly 😂)
Hellooooo! I am stuck in a odd position. I have harlequin crest, but do not have Tyreals might. I can't seem to find a build that caters to this ( just 1 mythic ) it goes from starter to end where you have both -.-" Please help
So getting to the pit bose is easy, so why use shredding blades which give 30% dmg only when boss is staggered vs something like inner calm to get 30% uptime all the time or conceited aspect with 25% dmg all the time. what im i missing here. after like the first 3 staggers the boss barely gets staggered again.

Finding the staff is just a small part of the problem. NOT bricking it during tempering is where the REAL challenge begins. 🤣

T8 AFK ? Which build ? And how did you do AFK it when monsters stop spawning when you have to make choices after every wave of enemies

You cant make changes to gear once youre in the pit. If you decide to wear Tibault’s you have to be prepared to get squishy.

Why not use the Sword for CHD? you could also use an offhand then and get more CDR/CC and another aspect? Instead of the staff with DOT

I can't get my LS CD under 6.23 sec even I got CDR on shako 44%, Tal 21.6% and ring LS CDR 21.2%. Am I missing something?
I think it’s because you need GA cd shako, I’m struggling with the same stats too no GA shako. The only way is probably to triple masterwork a max tempered 12.5s cd spear on ring x2

Tripple crir on both rings on LS cooldown gets you around 5.5s with normal shako. And you can cast LS basically all the time. You loose a little crit dmg and atk speed not at breakpoint, but it's still a beast.
@@Andras_Go Ok so I had so many sparks that I was able to craft shako with GA on CDR. Got two on LS CDR on mw and still kept 2,1k on crit dmg. Now LS CD is 5 sec. Can't be more happy.
I still have no ga shako but managed to triple mw one ring and double mw a second ring for 5.87 seconds below the 5.95s. Still hoping for a ga cd shako for under 5.15s breakpoint

ring of starless skies doesnt work in place of tal rasha ring???
with starless skies i have more crit chance and attack speed, feel more confortable killing than tal rasha ring...
current i have (unbuffed in town):
with tal rasha ring:
- attack speed: 43.9%
- Crit chance: 66.3%
- Crit dmg: 2191.5%
- lightning dmg: 455.1%
With starless skies:
- attack speed: 78%
- Crit chance: 87.5%
- Crit dmg: 2191.5%
- lightning dmg: 346.4%
This was quite helpful. I think I had too much attack speed, but I need more cooldown, because I can't reach the breakpoint on cooldown with regular Shako no GA. I have question about the winter glass. Is GA 3x mw 0.8 and aspect 65 max sufficient without GA on conjuration mastery if it has +4 for pushing up 150 and how impactful is if the nonphysical damage and double cast is not high roll. I can reach the attack speed with the pot, crit I need more (esu 38 on boots) and my cooldown on spear is stil lhigh 6.5 atm I think.
Could you use GA +damage instead of GA +max health with this build? Could that give you more dps for pit pushing or even in general?
I'm at 5.5 CD, hit all the other stat breakpoints except for crit dmg (2400) and conjuration mastery is not GA. Somehow I'm still only able to clear pit 143.
Mekuna is also just a really good player. Avoiding damage, optimal positioning, etc. that us normies dont have the ability to do. Also, this isn't his pit push variant shown in the video. The gear he shows in the video is for general content. His pit push variant has Raiment of the Infinite for extra damage, drops Tal rasha for an extra aspect and stats ect. that squeezes out every speck of damage that is not needed in general content because, as said in the video, with his general content variant, everything dies too fast.

Mate how i have nearly mastered every stat except i dont have such a perfect amulet but i cant get past pit 128. Well done on that 143 wish i could do it .I clear the pit for 2 min and than cant kill the boss

I saw the 89% AS breakpoint for a while. Just wonder how can this number been calculated? Did you test attack frame of LS?
On pants you use dexterity or dodge?. Same question for pit push build
What about movement speed on tyreals might for extra crit from esu better than the damage reduction? You could also do movement on esu instead of crit damage and get 100% crit cap
your movement speed will be capped through conjuration mastery stacks, so pushing movement speed on tyraels or esu's is sadly a waste

So the cooldown on your shako/tal rasha is already bringing you to the 75 cap. Does that mean that LS cooldown on your other ring overcaps?
The formula of cdr doesn’t just add up straight like that, check your cdr in the character sheet panel

I have this strange issue,. i have over the cap on a-s, and crit chance. Just lacking some crit damage. I have 5.00 sec Ls cd now, and everything. But,. my lighting spear does not cast alot of the time. Even without me using frosen orb cast. the cd /image above my char is up, but it does not cast. I have to rais my finger from the keyboard button, and press again. Even if i have the auto cast option on etc. This means, i never get above 26-30 maxs stacks at bosses. What am i doing wrong? ive done pit 140, bit cant get passed 141 max. Depending a bit ofc on if i awoid stacks etc. But its just not enough damage cus of the low conj stacks. Even at the training dummy, i cant get over 39-42 conjurations on multiple dummies,. 46 to 49 as highest. iam guessing its my somewhat low rolls on the 2 bottom lines on the winterglass? Rest conj mastery is max, and ga. conj cd is ga and orange.
if the aspect of fists of fate doesn't work with splintering energy, i guess it doesn't work with andariel's visage procs as well, am i correct?

Curious. How important is AS? LS is based off cool down so I traded out one of my AS affixes for intelligence as I thought it would be more useful. Is that the reason why I’m not hitting 55 conjurations? I have GA shako and critted 3x On CD, same for tal rashas and winter glass - all GAs. I have the 5 second lightning spear.
Another thing I did was traded LS lucky hit on my gloves to lucky hit to freeze, as I have a 90% frozen orb explosion to conjure and we have a few damage while frozen passives.
I can’t find double ga amulet. In your opinion it’s better ga on conj mastery or on cooldown? Thanks in advance

But why do you need crackling energy from the passive and chain lightning if you're running Vyr's? Do you ever swap to Overflowing or its maybe just for the glyph?

I have GA attack speed on both ring and gloves and even with potion and currents it’s only 84? What am I missing?
Surely the lucky hit chance from fists of fate helps with fractured winterglass frozen orbs? Also I'm not sure it's worth tempering lightning spear lucky hit chance, it never seems to proc for me with over 100% lucky hit chance.
By running Fists of fate, you lose out on Storm swell aspect, which is a lot of multiplicative damage. The only thing that Fists help with is that you ramp up faster on a single target. So you dont have to throw out as many frozen orbs manually. Basically, you can choose quality of life on single target vs. damage.
Can anyone tell me what's updated in the pit push planner? It looks the same as the last one. Also i see that you are using dex affix in your pants but it's not showing in the updated planner.

I don't think it's worth, we are lacking damage for pushing pit in general and we don't really need more toughness

I see the skill difference in how close and still you stand while doing dps/building stacks compared to how scared I am of unneeded boss hits and stuff. I'll learn the mechanics eventually just had that thought because of it :)

So getting to the pit bose is easy, so why use shredding blades which give 30% dmg only when boss is staggered vs something like inner calm to get 30% uptime all the time or conceited aspect with 25% dmg all the time. what im i missing here. after like the first 3 staggers the boss barely gets staggered again.
is that all you need for a Normal no buff 38.1 AS and 69.8 CC and .08 on glass? and 5 sec on skill.. is that all?
