Born in Brockton, we left in the early 1960s. My mother marched me down Crescent St. to the old East Side pool for swimming lessons when I was five. We were all poor back then no matter race or ethnicity. Good memories.
I have to laugh at this video. The most dangerous part of the city of Brockton is nitwits like you driving around filming instead of paying attention to driving!
Naawwwww he never hit north main st … you forgot about the north side my dude … Farrington , Huntington, battle’s , ANNIS ave, Richmond st , welmington st, prospect st, waverly, wyman, walnut, turner, spring, green st who claimed to be north, stop and get shot, Warren ave, nawwww they for get about us on the NORTH SIDE…

Half of it isn't hood, the really bad parts are warren ave and downtown by the court house. hell the projects on the East side was never even bad. All the bad shit happened near the high school and mall on the west side. From forest ave to westgate down to warren ave.

Brockton sorta reminds me of Lynn! That hypnotic music in the backround was just right - a rather ominous tune playing during a ride through a rather ominous city.
Born in Haiti in 1985. Lived in Brockton from 2000 to 2009. Now living in Ontario, Canada. Brockton west side was a nice place. I didn't hang out much. Shame what happened to Campello. I remember Campello Superette.

You can be part in the greatness or sit back and do nothing but watch it decay, hell all us Americans can sit back and say our country sucks ? Or we can do something. ✌️ my fellow American, thanks for commenting
Drugs are indeed everywhere, but in Brockton they are nearly the only thing, including forced medications from Brockton Hospital and DMH behind it (particularly opiates and antidepressants ever since that hospital got bought out by Signature Health Care). America does indeed suck right now, mostly because the far left has been encouraging behavior that I describe as "Brocktonesque". Finally moved a couple of hundred miles away, and specific hood shit decides to invade wherever I'm at. I wasn't aware gang bangers, junkies, theives, rapists, homeless crackheads, abusive doctors, etc. were considered "blue collar". I guess that just means anyone who is not straight up billionaire illuminati at this point, huh?
I’m sorry this whole video is inaccurate. This is my opinion after spending a good amount of time in this city. Green St, Highland Ave, Legion Parkway, the Gas Station that was named “Stop n Gas” for years that whole block which I know they renamed the gas station & tore down the building across the street however how this changes the drug activity I don’t know. How this changes the violence? It doesn’t . I know there R active gangs out there. I know also out by Mail street by The homeless shelter on Main & Spring there is alot of illegal activity. So that is my opinion I am lucky to be out of that subculture that I was once in.
I cant unhear this music
Brockton can be bad but not as bad as this beat. What is this? The mf beat ain’t even on beat. Somebody broke the metronome
