@@ballie8204 change up your play style. Play slower. Do scav runs. Go in, find where your extract is, and go directly there. Go in and get out with scav gun. Until you learn the map. I do customs runs with my pms and hit stashes on my way to extract
Actually want to thank you for these tips, I’ve seen plenty of other videos and honestly some guides just confuse me more than helping haha. I notice some guides tend to gloss over a lot of bits and go straight into other details but without knowing how to do certain things beforehand it doesn’t help a lot. Where as with your guide you actually explained things from top to bottom which is really helpful. I’m trying my best to get stuck into this game cause it’s really good, but damn it’s punishing. Very happy about telling new players to not shoot other scavs. Scav on scav violence should be stopped some way and BSG (game developer) doesn’t inform new players on what scav should and shouldn’t do. I hope this will reach a lot of new players coming this wipe.
@@DailYxDosE first of all, they are screaming something in russian if it's ai scav. Often, player scav use voice line to confirm they are scav to one another. Also, scavs are dressed like hobos. Colorful jackets and pants. After some time you will know after 0,1 s that someone is PMC and someone is a scav.
I get killed often by new player scavs. Just yesterday I walked right up to a level 4, used a voice emote then waved. The guy shot me right in the face.

I’ve only played a few games as a scav and thought everyone I saw was out to kill me to I “attempted” to kill everything that I encountered. The tip to not kill other scavs is good to know

I played my first scav run the other day and I ended up running into a scav that I thought was a player, so I didn't shoot. Then he shot me so I shot back and killed him, and lost karma. Then I played my first PMC run and got killed by a duo that was chasing me and screaming for me to beg for my life lmao.

Can you make a easy understanding headsets guide for new players(like me). I'm sure That'll be useful for who that would like to know pro and cons for each headsets. the other headsets video is just sound compilation but they did't talk about pro and cons as much as new player like to know.
headset just have different equalizers. Sording for example are more on the bass side, while Comtacs are more on the high tones. It's down to personal preference.

ive watched several videos of beginners guides to help get an idea of how this game was before buying. one thing in common ive noticed is they say itll be hard but no one has told me that its not just hard but an absolute slog it feels like wading waist deep in peanut butter and i cant help but feel that all ive done is waste money on something i may never touch again and people will say "oh well you should have read on what you were buying." well i did and still ended up disappointed. Thanks for the video and trying to help new players but this game is just not for me.
I promise that initial slog wanes after a bit and becomes very rewarding. I started late last wipe and was so frustrated bc I wasn't familiar with any maps, so exfils were few and far between. Map knowledge will open the game up a lot. Pick 1 or 2 maps and try to gather as much info as you can each run. I picked interchange because the exfils are easy to memorize and find once you get a sense of direction. Another tip: focus on either running a quest or making money. It's extremely hard to do both simultaneously in the beginning. Go in with a mission to loot as much as possible and just survive. Rat around and avoid confrontation unless absolutely necessary. Once you have a few hundred thousand, you can go back to focusing quests and/or diving into some pvp. Then as you deplete cash, revert back to just looting. You'll get ahead of the losses easier and easier as your knowledge expands.

i was playing today and my head was at 0hp and i still made it out of the raid alive just barely, I had meds though which helped, someone dropped me some grizzly after I shot them in the face
Don't worry if you have a small one....tell my wife that 😬 ps when talking about the map you forget to mention that there's no way to know where you are at spawn until you learn the map and it's landmarks

I like the game up to the point that gets to a "Tomb Raider" style, all these craftings and silly small details are really putting me OFF. I just want to enjoy tactical shooting - got other problems to deal with in real life, not in the game. So, I'll wait for another game.

just run your scav whenever you can to go loot stashes or other areas then flip it on the market when you get out for easy cash. If you know what you are doing you can easily get 200-300k which is more than enough to pay for a loadout or two
Yes sir. You can Shoot as a pmc everything. If u play Scav don't shoot at Scavs only shoot on them, if they shooting at you and u got a hit, then u don't loose any Scav Karma. Also u can Kill Pmcs as a scav without getiing Punished for it :) Wish you a lot fun in Tarkov and always, stay safe :)
