Security office has 6 contraband items in the cases as you walk in. Takes seconds and it replenishes
Thank you for that. The last person I watched only talked about pickpocketing and I haven’t put appointed that yet. I did the back way for a quest, but didn’t know the route to get into the secret room. Thank you very much I’m gonna go try it much appreciated. As someone with an Xbox you know how difficult it can be to get credits lol. Big help thanks again.
You can also pickpocket a key to the syndicate hideout from Frankie of "Frankie's Grabs". It's much less stairs that way.
Together with the contraband from Neon Security this is a strong exploit after patch. Normally you can drain the local Trade Authority 2 1/2 times dry in one run. It's convenient, because you don't have to actually smuggle, loot and sell all in one spot, apart from the 600h time leap. I never measured, but possibly you can get 200k per hour with no fighting or battling, very low harvesting, most of the time waiting. Not bad, i guess.
neon security head quaters can do same thing with evidence box they let you take it and it stacks
Thanks for posting this! I found a couple Syndicate keys before but didn't know what they were for. Your video helped. Btw armors with the chameleon attribute helps when crouched. I managed to steal credits off tables and pickpocket without getting caught.
I think i have one piece of Chameleon armour so i will give this a try as well, Thanks for the tip.

I've been commenting on a few Starfield RUclipsrs about this .. the syndicate has a lot of goodies, not just contraband. In the Ryujin quest line, there's a mission where you gotta go there because someone is hiding there. The syndicate was talking crap so I took them out. That's when I learned they don't come back but all the goodies do after time on Venus. It's a much better farm than just going after the contraband. You can get legendaries. The question is when to take out the syndicate in their hideout. Will it effect the game by missing out on something because they've been taken out? Also, you need chapters please.
Nice stash find! I am wondering if it repawns for a quest or something for the sydficate? If I get a quest for this I will not initiate it till I am done padding my Credits up! I came here for the Skill Magazine, did not know about the maintenance shaft.
If you have manipulation. No key card needed
Neon Security is easier to enter and acquire contraband than this method, though I do combine both to get maximum creds from Neon contraband.
I will certainly look into that then, not been to Neon security yet, i keep getting sidetracked lol
Why do people travel to Venus to sleep when there’s literally a bench right outside the trade authority to wait 48 hours UT? It takes longer to click around and travel to Venus, walk to your bed, sleep, fast travel back to neon, walk to the vendor, etc
Contraband isn't refreshed in 48 hours UT, but in a minimum of 600 hours UT.
@@matteovanderlugt7962 okay. That’s completely different than what he said. He said refresh the vendor, not refresh the contraband. But my point being every single video being posted, people always go fly to Venus to reset vendors when it’s a waste of time compared to sitting 5 feet away and waiting for 48 hours. That’s all.
@apcsox 1 second later he says contraband. It's really concerning to me you don't get that he just mis spoke and you judge him on that. The man gives you a decent way of getting credits in starfield and you decide to go to the comments and get your say. Hope it's worth it my man.

@@matteovanderlugt7962 Decent way? It's cheating, no other definition. Exploits are cheating. But he says he isn't using exploits, so he isn't just "mis-peaking", he's outright lying and cheating and trying to pass it off as some form of technique for legitimate credit-acquisition. Just use a cheat code, same exact thing.
Couldn't you steal the key from the lady from the start instead of having to go thru the roof and vent etc? Don't get it...

Contraband is cool! But selling weapons can just as profitable
I agree with you however weapons can be very hefty for the larger ones that net the most credits
@@mightyswordgaming usually if it takes too long to reroll the legenadary you want!, I just take the hefty negotiator or bridge, or I’m constantly getting magshot legendary! One thing I noticed! One inch punch on a sniper or like Beowulf sucks!, it makes the weapon crappy in my opinion! So, I sell it! lol
I can’t find the key for the maintenance shaft it’s not there.
So I haven't checked the maintenance key but when I loaded in tonight the actual syndicate hideout key had vanished from my inventory and I had to pickpocket again to get it.
I still had the maintenance key in my inventory so j couldn't check that one.
contraband is the worst garbage in the game. a gun earns just as much and most people buy them. if you accidentally pick up contraband and get detected and have no recent save then it is just annoying. Sure wolf will bypass it, but...
Contraband on Neon, or any planet that has a trade authrotiy vendor can be a good source of credits, It also doesnt hurt to have Sheilded cargo with the Mantis or any other ship.
@@mightyswordgaming and it is a good idea to combine the shielded Cargo wit a multi frequenzy jammer! :-)

@@rogersnz-gv3on Yeah, still not there but I found a post saying if you've completed the Ryugen questline and received the "Manipulation" skill you can use it on any of the NPCs in the area and make them open it for you. Can confirm it works.

Why not just go right out in front of the store and sit for 48 hours and then go back in. Why does everyone go to venus
There's more contraband in Neon. If you get arrested, or just fancy visiting. There's is an evidence room in the guards building. There's a contraband chest in there. You can hide out of sight and steal it. Don't know if it respawns, but more free credits waiting for you. Hope this helps someone.

Why doesnt my contrbrand sell for more? Im confused.
Upgrade the commerce skill. ie. "sell for 10% more and buy for 10% less"
@@SM-kt6zq i had it maxed out and was still not getting the "value" price it had. Then my game crashed and lost like 7days of progress🙃
Items that you gain in game will never sell for the price that is stated. Expect around 25% of the value when selling
1/8th if you have no points in commerce
It's been like this in every Bethesda RPG title I have ever played.
