This is, without a doubt, the strongest iteration of Bowser by far in smash but he still has some big weaknesses.
He has amazing kill confirms but he is probably one of the worst characters in the game at landing once he is in the air and has definite trouble against projectile-heavy characters.
Nah DK is really bad at landing, def worse than Bowser. Bowser's main weaknesses are the fact that he gets comboe'd to hell and back and, like you said, he can't approach for shit. Cloud - Bowser is a really bad mu for Bowser.

If we are counting PM, then PM is hands down the strongest iteration of bowser. If we arent, then yeh this one is definitely the best for its game.

So great to see heavyweights that aren't blazing fast do this well. For like forever, this game has been dominated by one of two varieties of characters:
Rushdown hyper-offense: Sheik, ZeroSuit, Diddy, Fox, etc
Sufficiently gimmicky: RosaLuma, pre-patch Luigi, Cloud, etc
Now we're starting to see other archetypes like all-rounders/swordsmen/heavies/zoners like Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, MegaMan, Ness, etc, and I love it.

This is a weird way to do a montage. I like it.
Nairo's Bowser is definitely one of the best, if not the best Bowser, in the world. I believe many lose to him since Bowser can shield multiple moves and punish with wide range moves like his grab and up b. I believe that if the players noticed that beforehand they could've played around it like players do with Ice Climbers, but still, the credit goes all to Nairo.

Nairo is pretty cool, because he can take an unused or not very good character and use it so well. Then everyone starts using that character.

I stop playing smash 4 for a couple months, then I start playing again and start playing marth and bowser frequently and then all of a sudden ZeRo bumps up Marth on the tier list and Nairo picks up Bowser. wtf!

RiN I think if many attacks weren't so unsafe on shield people wouldn't be grabbing/being grabbed so much.
yeah. give the main shield pressure aerials more range and less landing lag? re-introduce L canceling? except they won't because 1.1.7 will never come :(

You can buffer the turn around input, so that as soon as the throw animation ends, Bowser will turn around on the first possible frame. If I remember correctly, turning around actually only takes one frame, as the animation can be cancelled so you can immediately jump while facing the other way.
