🫠Regarding your question, NEVER use paste where putty is used, nor use thermal pads where thermal putty is required. The reason for the thermal putty is that the gap is not a standard size (neither 0.5mm nor 1mm). If you use a thinner thermal pad, it will not cool effectively, and if you use a slightly thicker one, it may cool those components but will push the heatsink away from the GPU and CPU, resulting in poor temperatures. Hello man, I don't know if you are still replying to the comments of this video but I have a problem, I did everything in the video right, but the thing is that when I took out the cable of the laptop battery, it came out a little crooked, like it came out first one side of it and then the other side, now that I booted my laptop again I now see a big drop in my FPS, like my graphics card now playing is only using like a 70% and dropping to 40% usage and with it the FPS, it looks very laggy, because it's going at 120 FPS and then a split second passes and it drops to like 30 FPS, then 50 FPS. then 90 and that's the cicle. It could be because I put a little bit too much thermal paste, but it wasn't that much and I don`t it's the problem, can you or anyone help me solve this?
The best thing you can do is, open again, check each important component, see if there is anything you might have missed, like correctly plugging the battery cables. If nothing happens, than you might wanna send it to maintainance as there is not much you could actually do.
Those drops may be either duo to heat in important components that were not properly pasted or a component with a bad connection, which is fairly unsual but IDK. Also, you may want to do a software test before opening up again, to see if you spot anything unsual.
Regarding your question, I need to know what brand of thermal paste you used. As for the battery connector, if the battery is charging and discharging properly, you don't need to worry about the connector. Now, if you used a good brand of thermal paste and didn't replace the thermal putty with thermal pads, then you don't need to worry about the amount of thermal paste you applied to the GPU and CPU (more is better). I need you to test a few things. First, shut down the laptop, but before you click the shutdown button in the Start menu, hold down the left Shift key and then, with the mouse, click on shutdown. Keep holding Shift until you see the power light indicator turn off. Next, keep the laptop connected to the charger, power it on, and test the FPS. Also, monitor the GPU and CPU temperatures. You can use MSI Afterburner or any other program to check the temps.
🫠Regarding your question, how you know your bios failed:? If you want to soft reset the BIOS, disconnect the battery and the charger, then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. The BIOS will reset to default. However, if your BIOS is corrupted, you will need to physically use a BIOS programmer, connect the probes, and manually load the BIOS using another computer. cheers🍻
🫠Regarding your question, you can't use a thermal pads instead of the thermal pads, the reason is that the distance is not an even number and if you place a bit of thicker pads it will counter push the heatsink away from the CPU/GPU and you will have a bad temps on them. get putty. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, this laptop doesn't have a dedicated bios (CMOS) battery, it takes the charge from the main internal battery, remove the internal battery and press and hold the power button for 30sec and it will drain the motherboard and the BIOS configuration to default, remember that this BIOS is smart and if your intention is to reset the password, this method will not work. you will need a bios programmer and re-program the chip. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
🫠Regarding your question, absolutely not the distance is not even number, so if you place an thermal pad you will counter push the heatsink away from GPU/CPU, use thermal putty. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
regarding the question: by repasting you are servicing the laptop that is something you should be doing once every year, by repasting that doesn't mean you will get a lower temperature than the day you got the laptop. you should be getting the same temps that you got the laptop on your 1st day. there is something called cpu/gpu fan curve, so that means no matter the type of the thermal paste used, after 5-15min heavy use the temps will reach the same as the brand new laptop, because the fan curve how it works is like, the fan will work at 10% till cpu is 30c or lower when then temp is over 40c the fan will go up to 30% and if the temp is 70c the fan will go to 70% only to keep the temp up to 70c. so no mater the type of the paste you use the fan will not spin and wait for the temp to rise up to indicated temp before it starts spinning, if you want to lower your temps get a fan control app and change the fan curve of the GPU, like msi afterburner, and set your fan curve to higher speed (more noise) so you get lower temps. but you still need to do your repaste once every year or two in order to clean the heatsink and the fan and place fresh thermal paste, else your laptop will reach faster to high temp and you will have a jet engine on your hand. cheers🍻

If you use a thinner thermal pad, it will not cool effectively, and if you use a slightly thicker one, it may cool those components but will push the heatsink away from the GPU and CPU, resulting in poor temperatures.
Get the thermal putty from Amazon or AliExpress.

Is it okay to lift the same long bar without replacing the paste if you don’t wipe it ?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
Regarding your question, absolutely not recommend you to place the heatsink with old paste on it once you lift it up, you will get overheating and sudden shutdown, and horrible FPS in games. just clean the paste and place new paste super easy.

Hi, I want to ask that how do i put the thermal paste for a square shaped cpu? I have a Victus 16-e0xxx and some how the cpu is in square shaped unlike most laptop. So I put the thermal paste in one drop on the cpu like how you put it on the gpu, is it fine?
🫠Regarding your question, just place a drop in the middle of the square CPU or GPU dies, and you'll be fine.

@@gabrielalmeida1481 Thank you very much!
Hey bro, how can reset or clear CMOS? My BIOS is failed :( HELP!!!

BRO IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE THERMAL PUTTY ON VRAM... HOW MUCH THICKNESS THERMAL PAD NEED TO USED? 0.5MM OR 1MM

Hello i havé to change de bios batterie where is it pls ?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
Regarding your question, this laptop doesn't have a dedicated bios (CMOS) battery, it takes the charge from the main internal battery, remove the internal battery and press and hold the power button for 30sec and it will drain the motherboard and the BIOS configuration to default, remember that this BIOS is smart and if your intention is to reset the password, this method will not work. you will need a bios programmer and re-program the chip.
Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.

can i use thermal paste to replace the thermal putty?
🫠Regarding your question, absolutely not the distance is not even number, so if you place an thermal pad you will counter push the heatsink away from GPU/CPU, use thermal putty.

@@uFixTekyoo i Need the same im from Italy i wanna change Also the White thermal paste
Still wondering why after i repasted the temp only diffrent 4-6'c
regarding the question: by repasting you are servicing the laptop that is something you should be doing once every year, by repasting that doesn't mean you will get a lower temperature than the day you got the laptop. you should be getting the same temps that you got the laptop on your 1st day.
there is something called cpu/gpu fan curve, so that means no matter the type of the thermal paste used, after 5-15min heavy use the temps will reach the same as the brand new laptop, because the fan curve how it works is like, the fan will work at 10% till cpu is 30c or lower when then temp is over 40c the fan will go up to 30% and if the temp is 70c the fan will go to 70% only to keep the temp up to 70c.
so no mater the type of the paste you use the fan will not spin and wait for the temp to rise up to indicated temp before it starts spinning, if you want to lower your temps get a fan control app and change the fan curve of the GPU, like msi afterburner, and set your fan curve to higher speed (more noise) so you get lower temps.
but you still need to do your repaste once every year or two in order to clean the heatsink and the fan and place fresh thermal paste, else your laptop will reach faster to high temp and you will have a jet engine on your hand.
cheers🍻
@@uFixTeki did clean fan's and dust every 2-3 month. and repaste 1year
