Hello again, Librarian! Watcher of the previous two seasons here with another tip. It was recently discovered that pressing Alt and F allows you to focus your flashlight's beam. This would allow you to see farther into the darkness in exchange for the beam's size.
After the new update I have been playing a lot on a new save and I have to say, the changes that EternityDev did to the terrain are awesome. They really make the map more realistic and it actually feels like people used to work and live there. Going to a tower or a generator and having to find a new route because the route you used to take is blocked by a cliff or something like that has been really fun, specially because I get to explore the map even more. And don't even get me started on the windmills and the generator buildings. They look so cool and the little offices on the generators become so cozy when you clean them up. I honestly can't wait to see what the future updates for this game will be.
it's given me an even stronger urge to interact with the outside more, maybe set up secondary outposts with food and equipment. wish we sometime also get winter, storms/extreme weathers, or just tents would be funny.
It's astonishing how much this game doesn't at all fit into the industry trend of "photorealistic" ultra-high fidelity, next-gen bleeding-edge graphics, and yet it manages to grasp a stronger atmosphere of verisimilitude than so many games of that ilk. This is a developer who knows where to put detail and where to spare it to achieve a feeling of truly inhabiting a space without sacrificing performance for the sake of diminishing visual returns.
@@shingshongshamalama I love how the game has a simple art style but it still manages to look as good as modern games. Hey Chris! You don't actually have to press the button manually each time to put the garbage bags inside the item box, you can just select the item and hold 1, as labeled on the side of the inventory menu. Also if you're looking for a use for all the scrap that you're crafting, then the cremator/incinerator in the basement should help. On the right side of the machine (follow the pipeline), place an empty (or at least not full) gas can, and then place any scrap item (or really any object) inside the cremator. Close the door and use the lever on the front panel, and once you hear the items start burning, the process has begun. Once the process has been completed, you'll see a gas amount when you hover over the front panel. Around the side where you placed the gas can, there is a red valve that you can turn to siphon the gas into the gas can. Be sure not to overfill the gas can, as I'm sure you can guess what happens if you do.

You get 5 points per server repair but if you beat your record you get 15. The timer on top is tour best. The weekly bonus is only affected by the tasks, if you complete all 7 tasks of the week you get 500, if you miss one you get 250 and the more you miss the less you get. The first week bonus will in most cases be 250 because the day you arrive also counts towards the bonus but you have no task. You can solve this by sending an empty piece of paper the first day. Sending more signals won't get you a bigger bonus but signals are still paid even if they are not part of the task. I have some advices for you 1. Empty bottle by holding it upsidedown then use fuel canister (use it on bottle while holding canister in your hand) and add paper to make molotov 2. If you see something black and moving, just run or if it rectangle just dont touch it. Most entities with that color will crash you game. 3. Have a lot of wood? Just put it into crematory to somehow make fuel. You can find place for canister on side. Canister not included. Also dont forget to close it or all fuel would be gone.

I like how the hole in the garage roof had a purpose for the longest time. It was the delivery drone's spot, and also to screw with the player by having them think "What's the point of closing the garage door WHEN THERE IS A GIANT A-- HOLE IN THE ROOF!" ... now the drone drops stuff *outside* which means not only is the hole just for anxiety now, but also that you have to *leave the house* to pick up daily supplies or send out nightly signals.
I do like the fact that you HAVE to leave the base now, but the hole in the roof really should be filled. Or actually, it should be replaced with a skylight, for a nice view out, and for things to peek inside
I was thinking, maybe every episode you can focus on cleaning and tidying up a specific area of the base? It’d break up the larger job into several bite sized tasks. Loving the series.
This terrain update is peak perfection, and it's quality has ramped up to higher levels. Props to ED and the rest of the team who worked on it, they're the real ones. Also... I've had some *strange occurrences* in VotV the last few days. I'd tell you about it but I should wait for awhile.
Librarian- i reccomend getting MANY cameras, and covering the entire base, inside and out - and one in top of the tower. Make it CCTV with going out to do your dailies, with a comfy creepy base with eyes all over
That's what I really wanted last season, so I hope that's what Chris does now. I'm sure there are base events he misses out on because he's too focused on looking out rather than looking in. Plus it would make it feel safer or at least more secure.
Hi! You can save a lot of points by spending less on food! The boxes now contain not only MRE, but also canned goods! All you have to do is buy a can opener, it only costs 50 points, and your supply of canned food will last you a looooong time, so it's a well worth the investment! You can also buy a kitchen knife, cut the potatoes and cook them in the microwave. There are a lot of potatoes in the boxes, the knife also costs 50 points. Oh, and when you get the fishing rod - now you can cook fish too! The fish is very nutritious, one piece can restore about 50 hunger points.
when you pointed out that the fire extinguishers were gone, I was in the midst of cleaning my own base. I glanced at the wall where you were looking and... mine are still there...
1:07:22 instead of just a light, put a camera there (with the light on) to keep in eyes on your deliveries. A camera inside the garage would be nice too, to see in details when the ATV get washed in the far future.
i have attached a radio to my kerfer and i would highly reccomend it, goofy music or cute music makes kerfur way less jumpscare intensive. plus it feels good to hear da boi on his way home.
On 0.8 it’s possible to get another radioactive capsule, so having a kerfus with the only reason to exist is being a portable soundtrack isn’t impossible
@@EudesRJ not just a portable soundtrack but also a suprising mood booster, to get jumped by a wisp then just hear EDM coming over the hill towards you rapidly. i dont know what it is but hearing him coming home can really help with the lonely vibes.
Just learned something useful for the cremator in the basement you can put burnable items into it and convert them into fuel. That way you’re not entirely screwed when you run out of cans.

I think you should try to use the other rooms in the base more, instead of building the main room into an all-purpose bunker like in S2. Maybe get a TV in your bedroom, or turn the 2nd floor empty room into a hang-out spot. You can use the 1st floor storage for crypto rigs, so you don't have to deal with getting them on that elevator.
50:20 The proportions of the pc (monitor, keyboard) are uncanny off the charts in comparison to the rest. The clock is as big as a tower pc! :) The whole pc is too little god damned.
I’m not surprised your character doesn’t have streaming out there. Remote locations like that don’t have high bandwidth lines, so if they have highspeed internet it’s usually wireless. However, you’re at a radio observatory and the last thing you want is signal interference from the cell phone towers or satellite internet. So you have enough internet for email and shopping over a phone modem, but not enough to watch videos or upload your signal analyses.
36:44 very suspicious mannequin placement in my opinion I don't remember if it was there the last time but it looks like the mannequin turned off the power
HELL YEAH!!!! THERE'S A VOICE IN MY VOID! Also, you should check out the oven in the bedroom/kitchen, there's a little something there. Also also, I'm sure that the bonus points from fixing servers are for beating your previous best time displayed on the top right of the screen. I did some testing on my own and I'm positive that's how it works.

The game-play is still meant for only 1 player, even if the post wasn't. It would need some changes. What changes? No clue, lmao.
28:00 I think one of the reasons why the model/texture overhaul was so good was because it was an expansion on the art style rather than throwing it out in favor of a new one. Like in Minecraft, some people prefer Faithful 32x because it’s a higher-res, slightly stylized version of the vanilla textures we already like. Also Monique Sanctifier has an awesome art style which is a big factor haha

i thought my mouse was broken for a good few minutes, then i noticed my sleep was low so i slept and it was all good. Didn't even know the eyes were on me until reading other peoples comments.
I have some advices for you
1. Empty bottle by holding it upsidedown then use fuel canister (use it on bottle while holding canister in your hand) and add paper to make molotov
@@JustAnAverageGuy5731still early in the gameplay, but he should start doing it without knowing why.
He also should know that there more than 1 type of whisp and about helmet. (Significantly lowers fall dmg)
That hill of gravel is a way to contain radioactive materials/explosives, there's one as a landmark over in Missouri
edit: timestamps
22:33 first notice
22:50 closer inspection
edit 2 electric boogaloo: more info
those hills are usually MUCH bigger than that so i may be wrong or the radioactive material is tiny
Uh oh 😰
For some odd reason, that Gravel Hill has a lot of Bones....
And theres another Hill of Gravel Near Sierra That Emits EMF LV 4 for some odd reason.
I like how the hole in the garage roof had a purpose for the longest time. It was the delivery drone's spot, and also to screw with the player by having them think "What's the point of closing the garage door WHEN THERE IS A GIANT A-- HOLE IN THE ROOF!"
... now the drone drops stuff *outside* which means not only is the hole just for anxiety now, but also that you have to *leave the house* to pick up daily supplies or send out nightly signals.
I do like the fact that you HAVE to leave the base now, but the hole in the roof really should be filled. Or actually, it should be replaced with a skylight, for a nice view out, and for things to peek inside
all glowsticks into the crafter and then you have rainbow glowstick
I was thinking, maybe every episode you can focus on cleaning and tidying up a specific area of the base? It’d break up the larger job into several bite sized tasks.
Loving the series.
I haven't mentioned it yet, but the new candle intro is nice. Feels cozy.
Make it CCTV with going out to do your dailies, with a comfy creepy base with eyes all over
Also, cameras on top of the windmills, looking out? Great veiws and great coverage!
Or cameras on different outposts - so you can get even more angles
ONE PIECE?! THE REAL ONE PIECE?!
stuck without internet, your videos are atleast one good comfort i get to partake in. thank you, librarian.
when you pointed out that the fire extinguishers were gone, I was in the midst of cleaning my own base. I glanced at the wall where you were looking and... mine are still there...
I wish they had this in VR for the quest i love to relax and listen to the rain and go walking around
1:27:18 luckily the ATV didn’t go far, but hey you can use the keys to find it if needed.
Look on some rocks and may find a helmet to avoid dead.
1:07:22 instead of just a light, put a camera there (with the light on) to keep in eyes on your deliveries.
A camera inside the garage would be nice too, to see in details when the ATV get washed in the far future.
I love clipping my trash into the wall, the ambiance is so serene.
i have attached a radio to my kerfer and i would highly reccomend it, goofy music or cute music makes kerfur way less jumpscare intensive. plus it feels good to hear da boi on his way home.
You can have your own theme music, every good hero should have some."
Just learned something useful for the cremator in the basement you can put burnable items into it and convert them into fuel. That way you’re not entirely screwed when you run out of cans.
By stars and moons that dots the sky,
He searches for life that's way up high,
Listening well for sounds not quite of this world,
They make themselves known as it all unfurl.
They follow his beacon of his fumbling search,
Him not yet knowing the interest he's birthed,
I think you should try to use the other rooms in the base more, instead of building the main room into an all-purpose bunker like in S2. Maybe get a TV in your bedroom, or turn the 2nd floor empty room into a hang-out spot. You can use the 1st floor storage for crypto rigs, so you don't have to deal with getting them on that elevator.
I have been blessed with a rainy day and a new VOTV episode from you 🌧☔☕😌
50:20 The proportions of the pc (monitor, keyboard) are uncanny off the charts in comparison to the rest. The clock is as big as a tower pc! :) The whole pc is too little god damned.
An episode without proper "Hello everyone"? Can't be!
😢
anyone else notice the ariral ship around the 1:32:55 mark?
17:16 I've seen a lot of things in my time watching this channel over the years.
I promise, I will NEVER let you live this down.
Somewhere in the ground you will find, a familiar face hidden by time. Be wary of this face, you’ve longed to love… for danger awaits to those above.
Don't let voices out your void in public bro
@@wdas3063 Sorry bro, won't be voicing all over my void anymore in public.
@@wdas3063 Nah, I let Voices out of my Void all the time and no one cares. The fact that you have an issue with it really says more about you than it does about me.
Must be a Canadian thing..
/s (Because you never know if people can recognise a joke or not nowadays. 😂)
@@Ixarus6713 it was a fart joke
The tree in the shack at 1:01:35 may be a reference to SCP-867 - the Blood Spruce, especially being inside and having the skull under it.
PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING AS LONG AS YOU CAN WE NEED MORE VOICES FOR THE VOID
Walk through the woods at night, during a midnight rise. Listen for the call... and you may fall.
you can use the shovel to scoop the trash piles into usable scrap to craft stuff also when you get Kerfur omega again write "will you marry me?" on a piece of paper and give it to them to collect hash codes and get ready for a wonderful surprise
I think bagging it and selling it in an item box is better. Each bags sells for 2 and you can buy them for one so every trash pile is a point ripe for the harvest. Just don't buy rolls, they are a scam.
or skibidi toilet
The transformer with the 'fossil gib' has some interesting papers to read.
something i found on accident in the break room the beer bottle on the table is full and will make you drunk (blurry vision and stumbling) if you drink it the effect intensity changes depending on how much you drink in one go, also it restores hunger and you can use it while your at max hunger
Kel's a proper lightweight then haha
9:08 And sometimes that Abyss demands tribute in the form of shrimp. :P
1:26:47 I would check around those rocks again with a hook to traverse. you might find something useful and expensive
At 9:10 it’s actually “when you listen to the void the void has voices!”
Actually, I think the correct quote is: "When you Voice into the Void, sometimes the Void Voices back."
LMAO as an archaeologist, 53:10 caught me so off guard for a sec before you finished the joke
I heard there is a big ball of meat, 2 in fact at point Ligma, i think its a reference of some sorts
Man I sure wonder what Ligma is. Can you inform me of what you’re referring to?
Ligma? What's Ligma?
Hold on..

Awesome, thank you for such a long, kick-butt video!
hey man, thanks for keeping up all the work with all the great series, normally i barely comment but i am currently going through some tough stuff and your videos, your commentary etc really helps me get distracted for a bit of time. So.. thank you
you don’t have to press the green button to confirm the code in the keypad, you just have to hover over the whole keypad and press E
In the depths where circuits spin,
Kerfur’s ears take whispers in.
On paper’s face, your words will dance,
Some invoke her friendly trance.
"Will you marry me?"-a playful jest,
She’ll respond, her answer blessed.
But tread with care, not all is light,
Some phrases plunge her into fright.
Skibidi toilet-pen this name,
And see her change, no longer tame.
A playful jest, or so it seems,
But in the dark, she shifts her schemes.
Test your luck, if you so choose,
But mind the game, you might just lose.
I have been waiting for this! Another episode to lighten the load of life.
1:38:17 You may not rest now, there are monsters nearby.
The end scared me so bad lmfao
(That wasn't the skull, it was the thing that comes when your stamina is low enough
Kinda fun fact: the trees move, the red pings you see on the radar are just trees but only the slow moving ones
And in 0.8.0, rocks do too
WHAT,THE ROCKS MOVE TOO
This comment is so underrated
1:37:38 you should get a kerfus was soon possible, there’s new events that are kerfus specific. (Having more than one would increase the chances of it happening, and easily would build the omega one).
And having help fixing the servers isn’t bad too.
There is no greater joy than having an episode of voices of the void come out on your birthday
Thanks for making this series. With the new update, I struggle to get more than 40 fps so I can still enjoy the game through your videos.
I love that the transformers no longer look like a random box in the woods but an actual station where someone was working fulltime.
That jumpscare at the end was one of the more impressive ones I have to say. One of the few that genuinely scared the hell outta me!
Incase someone hasn't told you yet, If you go to settings and then to Binds, and scroll all the way down, you can find an experimental Winter mode for some cozy atmosphere!
1:42:31 the eep demon he cares for your wellbeing and puts you to bed
It may be too early for a Riddle, but that never stopped me before:
An old Friend who can't walk
Can roll but can't talk.
Has changed as of late,
though you may have to wait
and let him roam about.
And then?
That's for you to find out.
the forbidden 4th model
The angry boi
Meow! *shank*
good news, everyone, the voices of the void, the ariral, and kerfus, are back, oh and *the one they call steve* he is here
i call him dan
Really enjoy watching you play this again. I like to think that each time you do a new season, you’re the new coworker that’s taken their place, and the previous ones disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
Who up voicin' they void?!
A secret hidden in a box of waves, place inside the present of the witch. Only then shall the truth be portrayed. And something will follow without a hitch.
Apparently the hooked mannequin is unobtainable, when I tried it disappeared. Also, the pizzas are still there, just that you accidentally typed e into the search bar so the store only displays things with e in it.
Im gonna splooge librar, VoTV is easily thr best series on your channel
so that "incinerator" in the basement, if you put burnables [such as planks or coals] in it, then turn it on, it'll turn it into fuel! load up empty cans on the right side
for some reason, the fact the new lamp post right infront of the main window keeps turning on and off at seemingly random intervals in the night creeps me out a lot more than it may should
edit: I haven't fully tested this but, if you refresh the camera tab of the computer at around 3:33 AM, a new camera will show up, with a garbled name, showing the inside of what appears to be a form of service elevator. It will remain active util 4:10 AM
Paper scrap is your only way to craft a weapon.
A new season, a new set of riddles. Or one-liners with helpful hints :)
1. Check the help menu ;) (insert something that rhymes with menu)
2. Beloved robotic friend / Stays with you until the end / But build your defenses, food weapons and health drinks / Or that end will come sooner than you think…..s?
3. Before, it was easy to tell when something was awry. To escape was the key. But now, if you were to try, it won’t work as reliably.
4. born 2 grill. forced 2 grill. invest in a grill. grill
5. The catalogue has a search bar! You left the letter E in it, which is what made stuff disappear from the list :0
That’s all for now… beware the shadows. Be nice to your Arirals. Eat your fruits and vegetables. And do not look into the locker.
-The real Void was the friends we made along the way.
Also "Smoke a baguette (with furry GF)" wasn't on my bingo card, but it is now for future.
PS: I wonder if the random gib sound effects are cockroaches in the base running into the vending machine hitbox and exploding...
Chris's ability to self-sabotage by refusing to follow the park's roads is legendary.
One thing you could do is get a TV Remote and left click on anything usable, thus meaning you can remotely lock your doors, toggle lights, teleport, open doors and so much more with it.
Considering that this posting was meant for multiple people, it would be neat to have a multi-player mode at some point for VotV.
Don't ask me how it will work gameplay-wise. The game-play is still meant for only 1 player, even if the post wasn't.
It would need some changes.
What changes?
No clue, lmao.
THANK YOU FOR DELIVERING ANOTHER VIDEO OF VOICES OF THE VOID
1:41:01 you are forgetting to save the signals, could rewatch it and even reprocess to send again if needed signal on short notice.
1:20:30 The note in one of the tranformers' booths said something about 2 pieces of paper(scrap?) and a *bottle* of gasoline combined together. Maybe a recipe for Molotov cocktails?
