I'm actually surprised by the number of JP Hololive girls that seem to have issues with vegetables. The only time that I really had issues with vegetables was when I was a little kid and even then it was really only spinach and beans that I really didn't like. Even to this day, I'm not the biggest fan of "most" beans but I love the taste and texture of most vegetables and I especially love how well they go with MEAT!
I wasn't expecting Kanata, _grass-munching Kanata,_ to be a self-admitted picky eater. Being poor and forced to treasure any food you can get at all usually beats the pickiness out of people.
Think of it this way, she ate grass when she was in need and anything would do. now that she's living her best life, she's getting used to having the choice/options. If she doesn't have an option, she'll probably deal just fine, but sometimes intimately knowing the bottom makes you appreciate the highs(or highERs) more.
I am a very picky eater but also a weird eater too, i only eat certain things in my cafeteria and if those dishes weren't on the menu that day, i will just eat cup noodles for lunch/dinner. But i like eating things like raw tomatoes and sometimes oranges with the peel ( sometimes btw, like once a month or sth )🙂🙂🙂
Used to be a picky eater. Hated vegetables as a kid, but now I love them. Except bitter stuff. It’s an immediate spit out for me I think I’m only picky with meat when it comes to texture and/or odor. As in I only eat lean non fatty meat. So I tend to avoid very fatty, rubbery or chewy chunks. As in kbbq I only go for brisket or tongue and I avoid stuff like tripe, intestine, if I see fat/connective tissue on short ribs and such, I try to cut them off
From Laplus' list of proteins she doesn't like, I would assume she wouldn't like hamburger much either(she lists a lot of things with higher fat content and mentions not liking fatty cuts), but I guess if you make hamburger with leaner meats, it could work fine...
Me also can't eat most of veggie but if it mixed well enough with meat then it's fine. Me also hate jelly-like texture food but i dind't hate jelly itself, just any kind of soft-texture food.
At first I eat veggies because I want to spite my parents that I "eat something that I hate and it's because of you" kind of spite. Now I don't really care much for it and just ate whatever veggies on the plate, I don't think I have anything that I dislike, I just ate so it can be done. Eating is a chore. Maybe Sui need somekind of "awakening" too.
Even as someone who's fairly picky, I will happily eat the same thing for dinner every night of the week, I can't imagine just not eating _any_ vegetables. Like, there's so many vegetables out there! French fries are potatoes! Pizza has tomatoes! I'm with Shion on this one, I don't see how it's even possible to not eat _any_ vegetables.
Maybe he's testing the feature. Although in my personal experience (I and my friend have a channel), premiere generate lower views on average. Its a case by case basis but I guess testing things out is okay.
I don't understand picky eaters. I have my preferences when it comes to food, but there's nothing I dislike so much that I can't eat it. So it's hard for me to understand when people leave stuff on their plate because they genuinely can't eat it. Not judging anyone though, it just surprises me some people's taste buds work like that.
You’d be baffled by Nene’s tastebuds then. Watch some of the clips of her eating tomatos, avocados and peppers. They way she describes their taste is so weird. I fully believe Nene has lived her entire life on just magic and rainbows. Her dislike of vegetables is rivaled only by Suisei’s.
@@bakkyarou Ditto. I'll eat ketchup and tomato sauces till they're coming out my ears, but I can't stand the texture of whole/chunks of tomatoes. Just feels slimy and I hate it lol
Some people have genetic differences that make it so they experience flavours differently from the majority. Sometimes this means certain foods are revolting to them. Cilantro is a classic example, but members of the brassica family also taste horrible to some people. I think this has something to do with it.
Dude amazing job putting together such a cohesive compilation of SO many holomems talking about food preferences! That was really engaging and fun
=)

I think she is just kidding.
After all, Gorillas are all vegetarians 🤣

The animals I eat have eaten vegetables. I count that.
Seeing this video gives me the impression that certain Hololive members can be somewhat difficult to feed.
i thought i was a picky eater but after seeing this, i seem like a person who eats anything xD
I can't believe Sui-chan can't eat potatoes or beans, which I'm almost certain are vegetables.
It’s funny how her best friend LOVES potatoes. I assume Sui-chan enjoys potato snacks though, so maybe they can bond over that
Potatoes are root vegetables, but beans are legumes.
im kinda a picky eater too.. i dont like onions on some but i like it in some dish also.. that's just how it is
As an ogre always said : life is like onions.
@@stickydusty They stink?

cute holomems being very picky with their diets.
mcdonalds every day in a sedentary lifestyle :O
This explain the flatness and short height... Lamy is a special case
thanks for the clip 💕
That's kindergarten for you lapu chan xD e
I can eat most things, except bittergourd. After I had the displeasure of eating it raw, never again

Orange with the peel is unhinged ngl
nigate >> bad dealing with it. not caring is quite overboard
Bruh, i literally can count how many veggies I've eaten this entire year 😂
Man I feel bad for Japan now that the scourge of McDonald's has set in. One look at America and you know it's over for them.

Same, I go for lean meat as much as possible. Can't stand the texture of fat, so I always cut it off.
Surprised to hear that lamy doesn't eat liver. Even tho her intro became "I have a liver face" lol.
Im sure i can eat all vegetables

For me, the texture of some foods are what makes me dislike them more than the flavor, or sometimes the smell.

@@TheVillainInGlasses Exact same for me. Tomato slices and chunks are gross to me, but I enjoy the flavor as a sauce or dip.
