This is just a great moment in track and field history with Bert Cameron running through pain to finish the semi-final race. He nearly stopped running at around the 130m mark only to re-accelerate and finish in the all important 4th place to qualify for the finals. Unfortunately he was unable to compete in the final, but this race remains extremely impressive. Cameron has gone on to be one of the more influential people in Jamaican athletics and a huge role model for so many Caribbean athletes! Enjoy the action!
