Today I'mI'm heading away from the tourist areas in Bangkok to a little area called Talat Phlu in Thonburi. We're going to be checking out a really local Thai market, going to a 100 year old coffee shop as well as trying loads of different Thai dishes and snacks.
It's really want you to see how well Thai locals treat you when you're away from the tourist areas of Khaosan and the Sukhumvit Road.

Kanom farang is the old word I grew up and familiar with. Kanom khai ( egg snack ) is the other word for it because it made from egg.
จากหน้าตาขนมชื่อเต็มๆน่าจะหมายถึงขนมฝรั่งกุฎีจีนค่ะ เพราะเรียกสั้นๆว่า"ขนมฝรั่ง"เหมือนกัน เท่าที่เคยทานตัวของเนื้อขนมจะต่างจากขนมไข่อยู่บ้างค่ะ

I have long been intending to visit the charming and traditional Khanom Krok spot near Klong Lod. I hope to find an opportunity to go there together so that you can witness the authentic way of preparing Khanom Krok, just as it was done in the past. This culinary craft was once a highly intricate art form.
It used to be pour into the hole one by one and take it out one by one as well.

Hi D&D, I think you both need to go there next, and eat some Kanom Jeen. I don't think you have a clip of it yet, have you? Oh, if you are going to eat Kanom Krok in the future, you don't have to eat 2 at the same time. Eat only 1 at a time, blow off the heat first, if they are just come off the griddle, in order NOT to burn your taste buds. They are good at luke warm temperature.

Hey Gary. In Bangkok at the minute. When we went Phuket there was a breakfast place in the old town that did an amazing masaman curry with Roti.
Is there anywhere in Bangkok on that level for a masaman and roti? Preferably near pratanum

I saw many Falangs eat Ka Nom Krok wrong way, by eating a pair of it together That made hot coconut milk burst in your mouth. So, separate it and eat each part. This way is safe.👍😁
