The first time I visited Thailand, I came with the list of the restaurants I should eat. And when I was in Bangkok walked around I forgot about the list of restaurants, I just eat whatever on the street that please my eyes and nose. What I loved best in Thailand is “The Thai people hospitalities”, what I hated most is “the bargain on Tuktuk and no meter taxi”, as the US custom I always tip the taxi drivers, many time I tip the “taxi with meter” more than the fare to award his honesty.
Took Took in Thailand is one of the most ripped off transport systems in the country. Do not use them until the authority of Thailand's woken up. They constantly bring shames to the country.

You are so so casual and authentic with no dramatic exaggeration. It is as if I am at the market with my friend, who just keeps searching for the next snacks. Did you put on weight thereafter?
The ferry you took to the market is the Hop On & Hop Off Tourist Boat. It's the one-dollar-ticket-for-a-billion-dollar-view ferry! You can get an unlimited one-day hop on and hop off for 150 Baht as well. The local market you went to is called Wang Lang, which translates as the Palace In The Back. Just across the street is one of the best hospitals in Asia. It's the go-to place for the Thai royal family. Maybe Prince Harry and his wife can come here too while being cast off like that. Yes, one should try to speak Thai when in Thailand. That's an endearing attitude.
I found your video show up on my RUclips feeds and loved it! Love how you did the reviews on the street foods. Great work! And welcome to my home town! Enjoy your stay and Thai food 😄😋
Hi Jason. Thanks for you video's. We are planning to go to Bangkok next year January. I amost seen all your video's (just one to go which I will start in a minute). We will be prepared for our trip now. Thanks again and have a good life.
My favorite menus for five star chicken are Kai-jor (big chicken saucesage) and Kai-prik-thai-dum (Grilled black pepper chicken) I very recommended you to try Kai-jor because all of my friends like it
The salak fruit is called 'snakefruit' in English. I don't know if you tried the marinated fried pork in Wang Lang or not. It is quite famous there and there is also an egg noodle restaurant I used to go with my mom when I was a little kid. It was delicious.
@@7eroTH in English it is called either snakefruit or salak The word salak might be originated in Indonesia since the fruit seems to be from there originally. Yes, in Thai it is called 'salah' but not in English or other languages.
Hi Jason, I would recommend the Thai tea flavored bread. You will get a strong Thai tea taste and aroma of tea. and “Salak” for Thai people it’s fruit not snack. Welcome to Thailand and enjoy eating.😊
Eating with a fork and spoon is typical for Thais. You’ll see those only being offered even at Western Thai restaurants. Chopsticks aren’t our usual go-to utensil but we will use it for eating noodles sometime.
😂😂😂 when a thai person say “not spicy”, in western scale would be medium spicy. But when they say “spicy”, you better have life/health insurance ready😅
I enjoyed very much watching your VDO. You really arrived to real Bangkok as you explored having real Thai food. Hope this VDO will be useful for others tourists. Thank you for filming this good VDO. 😊
I am surprise that you eat egg crisp, it's call Keao Kai in Thai. It's made from eggs of quial bird and wrap with flour sheets. I love this snack so much I alway eat this shop when I walk in Wang Lang.
You can find street food all over Thailand. Most Thai food is spicy. There are few things that are not spicy. And Thai people eat very spicy food until it becomes a normal taste. The more spicy you eat, the more spicy it becomes. It will make you burn fat in your body better. Thai people call these lines ขนมจีน,Khanom Jeen liquid😅
I love that word ( look the cable up there ) welcome to my country welcome to Thailand. I hope you will gets everything you looking for and everything you visit for . Normally I'm leaving in North Eastern of Thailand but I didn't living there about 17-18 years already now I live in North Eastern of US ,MA both north eastern side. And I plan to move back to my country before the end of this year.
You can ask for permission to dump garbage at the general store or the shop where you shop. Along the way you walk so you don't see the trash on the floor.
Google translate works pretty well actually, i tested it even with some slangs and I speak fast, it still gets it like 80%. Might help with the communication 😊😊
I really like your attitude that when you traveled in Thailand, you should speak the local language. Bec I found the foreigners who traveled in Thailand speaking English or their own language. When the local people didn’t understand, they would be angry.
Wat Mangkhon Chinatown in Bangkok is my favorite place in Thailand now though because it is like Half Thai and Half Chinese there although I have been to Sukumvit Bangkok twice as well. I have also visited Chinatowns in Singapore and Malaysia as well because my country Fiji does not have a Chinatown.
Hi Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 I’m just to recommend you, When you eat noodles in Thailand, you just scoop out the noodles like you would eat spaghetti, if there's a lot of water in the food. Use a spoon to help, it will be easier. 😋😋😋😋
You can go WangLang by subway to SanamChai station, and then get on the bus/or walk to TahChang pier. Walk from SanamChai station along the river side road you will pass Rachinee school, police station, TaTien, The grand palace and then cross the river at TahChang pier to WangLang.
We've lived in Thailand for six years now, trying to find a trash bin in public is almost non existent...lol I would have just thrown away in KFC or put in my pocket..hahaha
If they play music or perform a show, you can give them money. But if they sit still and hold those children, they are gangs who come to make pity for money.
If you don't find a trash can, you leave it to the people in the area. And by the way, you can't sit in a restaurant without having to buy something from it, except for some.😅
3:50 When I see you go on the roof, It's done! You're toast for sure especially it's 5 month ago, The summer season which really long...not even local people want to go up there :D, I hope you enjoy stay in Thailand.
