When you guys said "This is the accident that kills Helge and also doesn't kill Helge" damn I never thought of it that way and how that statement is connected to the last season. The rewatchablity (?) of this series 🤯🤯🤯

Winden is a small town, so it's not that much of a surprise for me that Peter and Tronte know each other. Maybe they are in the same bowling club or whatever. Peter's wife is working with Tronte's son at the police, so maybe that's how they got to know each other.

This is true, we never really thought of it that way, thank you!

when I watched the show Peter and Tronte knowing each other didn't surprise me as I expected "everyone knows each other in small towns", what surprised me was Adult Hannah and kid Mikkel. Do they ever meet each other all those years in the future? they grow up together, she must recognise Mikkel if she sees the kid version right? and how could someone who is so crazy about Ulrich not know his young son at all? I recall the scene Mikkel tries to avoid his kid self at his home, even adult Mikkel successfully staing out of sight that long in a small town like Winden would be quite impossible, nevertheless all those kids adults who grow old with kid Mikkel, they just simply not have a moment when they see the kid in the future? the show is so great, I hope I simply missed something, I want it ti be perfect!

@@first8956 People would shrug it off as a coincidental similarity before seriously considering something as "impossible" as time travel.

@@frankj10000 would they actually? I certainly would not. and actually adult Hannah saw Mikkel just before adult Mikkel bumped into his kid self at their house, from the acting, it looks more like "Hannah cannot believe herself sees the kid Mikkel" to me, doesn't look like it has been a while she just keeps telling herself "no way Mikkel is her husband". anyway, not many channels do Dark...... it seems fast food like shows attract more views and simpler to produce on YT!

So.. why do they think Tront and Peter are close? Everyone knows that Mads went missing. so when Peter sees him pop out the time anus in front of him of course he tell his family... anyone would have called Tront to let him know. They dont have to be close for that.. its just what any normal person would have done.

I'm bummed that I didn't watch your reactions for a while... love the assessments you made about episode 9 especially about Boris/Aleksandee; remember these theories because a lot of people either forget about it or do not interpret this scene enough in my opinion

4:58 Well remember that Tronte's wife Jana is still grieving her son after 33 years. She has probably sought professional help. Or maybe Tronte did for himself.
And who is possibly the only psychiatrist in town? Peter.

7:23 notice something that we hear, but do not see in this scene? I just love this detail so much

10:15 here it is again: the grandfather clock next to the door is the one at Ines' place in 2019; in the other scene we can hear it ticking away because Ines and Jonas make these long pauses; I just love how we see Stranger-Jonas next to this grandfather clock in this set several times and the only other character interacting with it is his grandmother

12:24 let me quote the first episode: "Die Frage ist nicht wie. Die Frage ist wann."/"The question is not how. The question is when."

16:00 I mean the answer is basically here, right? Stranger-Jonas does what he does, even if he did it and has to assume that he fails, because it is the only way to achieve what he wants to achieve. Noah later (and other characters in the next season episodes you watched by now) oddly says something similar, that they keep up the loop until they can finally achieve whatever it is they want to achieve.
