This Milan, Italy 94 show features my favourite live version of Sappy too. The Rennes, France 94 version has a longer intro which sounds really awesome. My ultimate favourite live version of Sappy would be a soundboard recording which starts with the longer Rennes, France 94 intro and then seamlessy cuts to the Milan 94 version straight after the intro.
I have to firstly say that I was baby in 1994. I wasn’t there properly and I have no idea about how the world responded to Nirvana at the time, aside from what I read. But even at the age of 34 after becoming a late fan in 2000, I will still never understand why people clapped at Nirvana gigs to Polly and Come as You Are 😂 Possibly two of the most somber, humbling songs in Nirvana’s back catalogue was always greeted by fans as ‘hey, this is the happy song! Let’s clap!’
For many years I thought, like many, that the only real great recording of the February 1994 European tour was Rome 22 Feb. This Milano 25 Feb remaster changed that thought. Simply amazing work, especially on the vocals! Would be great if you could do your magic on Modena 21 Feb and Milano 24 Feb as well. Not sure if there are any other In Utero tour concerts where the recording devices were close enough to the stage to bring the crowd noise back to acceptable levels. It's funny how all the pundits who claimed in books and bootleg reviews that the Milano concerts were terrible are proven wrong by these digital remasters. These Italian shows are the best, Reading '92 is a total joke compared to this setlist and quality of play.

some of the France shows are great too.
Couple of nice jams included, My best friends girl to kick off RFUS and Dont fear the reaper after Sliver 👍🏻
What happened to your excellent remaster of Roma 1994? Did the rats force you to pull it?
They took it down after the release of the singles for the 30th anniversary of in utero, which contains some tracks from that Rome show

@@HarmvonAtrak thanks, I'm waiting for the full release of In Utero so that I know what songs are blocked.
