I bought a Vooduu Valve some years back and use it as my backup rig. Rocktron sent me a new tube when I broke the original trying to remove it and didn't even charge me for it! I'm a 70's kid and stayed with rocktron over the years. Great company with excellent customer service!

This unit sounds amazing. I like the smooth type of high gain. This is a perfect preamp for virtuoso lead guitar!

I have one of these, but it would be nice to get the "big" sound you're getting. I'll keep tweaking! Thanks!💯🤘

How does your rocktron prohesy sound in compared to your Kemper? or any newer modelers. Just curious, I had one way back in the late 90s. Dont remember it too much, didnt have it for that long

To be honest, most of todays modeling units (Kemper, Fractal, Nux MG30, Valeton GP200, Helix...) are superior to these old Rocktron units. The amps and most of the effects sound better (more dynamic, higher resolution). That said, I can get great high gain tones, delays, tremolo out of the Prophesy. Even the cab sim is still usable.

I have the original Witch Doctor & the clean sounds (to my ears) are excellent once you program them to your taste - I'm not a metal guy more of a rockabilly to ac/dc rock style I just love this unit - gigged with it still recording with
