Jaw droppingly wow! So my 35mm stills from 40 years ago may become 3D animation?! @@Cream-FX Hey Gaetan, I currently have a complex image that I intend to precisely layer within Photoshop before bringing into AE (as a lot of the elements require animation). Will this still work okay with your vol max?

Does this support 4k and how does it align the mesh for non adult faces?
VoluMax is natively in 4k and the 3d portrait Tool adapts on children ;)

If you put more than 3 masks per layer it explodes ! ;)
No it will just not uses the 4th mask, but to be honest you will not use very often more than 3 masks. It was created that way for optimization reasons, more mask would slow down AE too much.

Dommage qu'il faille placer les personnages en milieu ou fond de scène pour atténuer ce fort effet de glissement qui donne l'impression qu'ils ne sont pas vraiment positionnés là où on souhaite qu'ils soient.

Hello and thank you for your purchase. No you can do square or vertical format, Instagram... Just use the export presets composition. There is a video tutorial included explaining the presets.
How can I export the portrait depth map I created in Volumax and use it in photoshop?

Hi! Great framework! Awesome effects! I just want to ask, is it normal for the exported file to have a file size of 5gb for a 7 seconds 2d to 3d file?
I just followed the tutorial, and then exported the file to adobe after effects, then it says "best settings" on the quality. Then I just click Render. When I looked at the file size of the exported finish product, I saw the HUGE 5gb size for a 7 seconds clip.
By default on Windows After effects exports lossless AVI video file if I remember correctly, which is the best quality but gives huge file sizes. To get a smaller file with almost no quality loss for viewing purposes use Adobe Media Encoder to render out your After Effects edit to something like mp4. It's a standalone software, and if you have it downloaded you should see an option in AE that automatically opens AME for rendering. For rendering you can choose a preset for RUclips, or simply tweak setting on your own. There's also an approximation gauge that tells you the output file size so you can tweak according to your needs. AE by default can't render many formats so you have to use AME.
i want to know is it possible to make multiple continuous scenes with transitions in between the scenes ??
Yes of course but directly in VoluMax. The best way to do that is to export multiple projects then compose them with Premiere or AE with transitions.
The portait Animator on Volumax 6 is driving me crazy, how am i supposed to get it to fit . I don't know how you guys got the mesh head to fit . Please tell me the secret as its definitely not the liquify tool as that creates a mess

Hi, I'm pretty new to this stuff, I don't know if you have any experience with Affinity Photo but could you use Affinity instead of Photoshop to create the different photo layers? I know that you can do a lot of this in AE but some things you need Photoshop for like you did with the people diving into the water.
I've seen videos of people removing say a person as an example and then filling in the background with Affinity and it seems to work quite well, could this be done with Affinity instead of Photoshop in your opinion? You can export these different layers I believe although I am new to Affinity but it does seem like it is possible. Cheers

After effects is essential for Volumax but you can use any image software other than Photoshop to setup your layers. 😉
@@Cream-FX Great. I have After Effects, but very recently but I wouldn't want to pay the monthly fee for Photoshop just for this functionality.
I have bought a few things for After Effects as I am new so it will help me make videos quickly and this is one I really want but I only have Affinity Photo.

My problem so far using this template is that it seems it can only be used effectively on one kind of photo, with a large backdrop and well-defined features in the foreground. What about photos that have less well-defined features, e.g. a forest scene? Is it possible to work on these photos effectively using this template?
VoluMax can work on many kind of pictures like lanscapes or portraits, the foreground is not necessary but of course it will add some extra 3D impression.

There is no 1080P version. Volumax is in 4k but that does’t impact viewport or export speed, everything is optimized to go fast and After Effects is very smart with rescaling pictures nowadays.
Just import and make your pictures fit in the "Your Picture" composition, AE will do the rescaling job nicely.
For proof the official trailer of VoluMax was done with 720p, 1080p and 4K pictures and finally exported in 1080P video.

Hi, is there a way to contact you for some help or advice officially? I have been having some technical issues with this plugin. Once before the "DUST" fx did not appear in a certain composition for no good reason, now the "OBJECT1" does not appear in main comp as if it's not there. Any advice would be helpful.
