@@GaroShadowscaleyou don't have to Like Flowey says in that smae Genocide route, there are always the ones who take the decision to murder someone, and the ones who want but are too afraid to do it and instead just watch from the sidelines (yes Flowey in Genocide does mention the Viewers too)

Then with the regret flowey says in undertale that when he first started killing a part of himself told him it was wrong. Eventually though that faded away after countless resets making him numb to seeing people die. Still a part of him probably knows that this is all wrong which could be influenced by asriels memories in him. A part of him IS regretfull about the things he’s done and when were in his mind of pure torture and seeing flowey slowly turn into insanity, to me it’s a mix of scary but also saddening he needs a hug :( and a slap across the face
It is pretty much confirmed that Flowey has done his own equivalent of a genocide route, just because he did litterally everything else there was to do. In continuing to essentialy exhaust all of the dialogue, he tried killing. Flowey says he was apperently really hesitant. Flowey being regretful was probably that memory.
Being unable to feel love probably isn't the only reason Flowey is so hateful and insane, since Flowey had the ability to reset, and since he has definitely done thousands of resets, thats probably another reason for how he acts.
Pretty sure that he says this in Undertale. At first he killed somebody just to see what would happen and he regretted it but slowly over time he became numb too it. He didn’t do anything he did out of hate but boredom
I don't fuckin care bro he manipulated clover billions of times without him knowing constantly dying for his selfish acts and he could've done the same with the other 5 not to mention he don't give a shit about there deaths rather he enjoys the sight of it. Also I can go into more reasons but I'll stop there
When Flowey/Asriel has the human souls inside of him, he regains his previous emotions In the UT neutral route, he just chooses to ignore them and try to acquire your soul no matter how wrong it is In the UT pacifist route, however, he clearly shows emotions and regrets his previous actions Perhaps having Clover’s soul trapped inside of him made him regain a part of his emotions before he chose to ignore them and try to get your soul to beat Asgore
In one of the entries of the true laboratory alphis wrote that she injected determination on the first golden flower that got from the surface to the underground so there was only one golden flower at the begining but after some time other golden flowers started to grow near to asgore throne, also flowey says on the genocide route that he woke Up on the garden, not in the true laboratory
I can’t believe the Neutral Route Flowey fight reveals that he was secretly Minos Prime from the video game ULTRAKILL as he yells “JUDGEMENT!” And drop kicks Clover
He knew he was wrong since he does have a bit of love. After Undertale and in the Alarm Clock app, even if he's a flower, he can still feel love. That's probably why he regretted it, but he didn't have enough love to shake it off.
Flowey says at the end of the genocide route that he started killing people because he got “curious,” or that he “had to know what happened.” That “what have i done” was probably after that first time.
I like to think the 'what have i done' is a red herring planted by flowey because at this point he knows you're in his memories so he's messing with you
So maybe this is because I've seen some weird series. But this is basically similar to a scene from a movie I saw. There was a woman who was seeking a way to be immortal, so she was trying to take over some kid's body. But instead she fails thanks to her near immortal servant stopping her by getting in the way. Mind you this servant was shown to be long lived and deeply caring for his mistress but then it comes to her that this is what she was looking for, immortality. Only to see the constant pain her servant felt everyday due to his desire to be with her. Her heart breaks for her poor servant and she chooses to pass on to the afterlife (implied reason to be with him) The flower part could be flower finally obtaining the ability to "love" by getting a human soul he gains the capacity for "L.O.V.E" and love which brings him to face the atrocities and the deaths he and his alternates have done in the name of feeling love once more.
In the original game I think its implied that he always had the power of loading save files so thats what he did. Eventually he got bored of life because he was going trough the same events over and over again or something so thats why he started being cruel because it was something he hadnt done before so it was new. And in subsequent reloads he bacame crueler and crueler. But I wonder what his ultimate purpose was. Was it to gain ultimate power OR the ability to feel love again. I still hate him but its also kinda sad.
i mean, flowey literally has a massive piece of dialogue about when he woke up as a flower in genocide undertale and that could explain this video better, he was good at first but only after doing everything he possibly could he started to kill out of curiosity, but eventually grew bored of that too, i think the "is this it?" kind of things that were in undertale yellow might've been hin dying for the first time? im not sure since he said he felt apprehensive and then said he didnt want to die so it could've been how he felt beforehand, and the what have i done could honestly be a few things, it could be the first kill he did and maybe he killed toriel or something, but at that point he would've been too bored and wanted and had to see what had happened so idk how much he wouldve regretted it, although he did say he didnt like it at first and it was only out of curiosity but then immediately goes back on that line of thought, probably just because he was thinking of how stupid that thought was in comparison to him now, maybe it could also be an asriel memory of him right before he dies? like the "is this it" and "what have i done" part could be him blaming himself for not letting chara use their full power when they were both outside and he ended up getting them both killed, i dunno
What I think is that before trying to do pacifist or genocide Flowey was attempting to convince Asgore to show him the souls, he got frustrated to the point that he killed Asgore off guard and regretted it, I’m sure that he still couldn’t find them since he needed Asgore to show the souls (to the human probably) first before actually getting them and reseted the timeline
i view Flowey in a similar vain to the player. Of course you know it’s wrong to kill, and can even feel bad about it, but when you reset over it the consequences don’t matter as much
I think it's because of the times he spent getting souls that he's lost who he is, the pile of floweys might be how many times he's been resetting or killed I'm srry but early
i can explain to you, first of all the dead floweys represent his suicides and deaths, the thing he says could this be it is the power to reset as he didn't understand why he is coming back at first, and the WHAT HAVE I DONE? is when he first started killing. hence why in undertale he says *at first i felt bad which means that he regretted killing at first but then ofc, got used to it and got crazy

He was just toying with you, and gave you a false hope, just to crush it and making you give up And there's not only the meta flowey fight that takes place inside his mind, everything since the moment he takes your soul happens in his mind He's not hateful and psychopathic just because he can't feel love, it's a bit more complicated, he became like that because of multiple things: 1. Yes, there's a bit of him, unable to feel love and compassion because he doesn't have a soul anymore 2. After doing multiple and multiple times "pacifists" run, through his save and load files, he eventually got bored and decided to try something else because he was curious, which led him to progressively become like that, starting from feeling weird after killing someone, to eventually getting used to it (and that's an important thing because the genocide run of Undertale is supposedly a "mirror" of Flowey's path, you did every run possible, pacifist and neutral, with all the fun values, you know everything about the game, and because of curiosity and boredom, you try the genocide path) And I think most of Flowey's death are from fails in his run, maybe not only the genocide ones, we know that he already tried to kill himself once, which led him to discover the SAVE/LOAD/RESET ability, but we don't know if he had more death afterwards
He kills margret and clover before stealing his soul. however the soul still isn't fully under flowey's control so he fights you inside his mind to get rid of you and take the yellow soul
He took Clover's soul and tried to absorb it, which transported Clover into his mind. Though I'm not sure this happens canonically in the game when Flowey absorbs the six human souls, this interpretation is very cool! :D
