Loved the song, the guitarists are insanely talented but I’ve gotta admit, I was mesmerized by the drummer! Holy hell that guy is good! Makes that drum tech story even more incredible.
The skills to play these drums is one thing, imagine you are the drummer, and the guitarists send you this song, but just the guitar part. Now you have to create the drum part. Coming up with something so perfectly interesting and mixing well with the guitars...amazing job.
I can't stop listening to this song. Polyphia has brought the genre to a new level, unique and modern, and an influence of many completely different genres. Incredible display of skills, and uplifting vibe.
I honestly thought there would be death metal intro by looking at their appearance..but was pleasantly surprised by the Santana style guitar play at the beginning
This song is crazy. I'm glad I've stopped playing guitar 15 years ago, so the feeling of inferiority did not hit me that hard when I've first heard this song.
I 100% know its banter and he's just messin with ya but I think you're bloody awesome Johnny! You do you really well ;) Legit, I think the biggest reason I come back to your channel is you boys have great chemistry and its always a delight to come hang out and watch/listen to some good music
Hell yeah! Been wanting you guys to watch this for awhile so glad you finally did! Knew Johnny would love it as a musician! Check out Tim Henson Playing God Unplugged he’s just not human! They have so many great song’s!
The measure of a song is by how long it lives in your head after you finished listening. WELL ... by that measure ... this song has evolved into an earworm that seems to want permanent residency. I wake up to the whistling melody and I hear clips and phrases of this song at different times during the day and it has even played as the soundtrack to dream sequences in my deepest REM sleep. Some people would be annoyed but I can't wait to feed the beast and hear the song again. I can't wait till the rest of the album is released.
I liked the tune. Interesting how some guitar sections are arpeggiated scales, but set in contrast with a fat bass tone and slick drum licks. Will definitely check out more of this band.
@@PeacewiththeGraces but you shouldn't quit because it doesn't take having peak skill to be successful. There's plenty of musicians these guys hold in their heart thinking "I'll never be as good as them".
To anyone new I descbe them as modern prog rock with spannish influences and possibly the best technical guitar and drum band ever. I know nothing about music but wow.
The entire video they speak nothing of how they play, and entirely about how they look and behave. Literally nothing about the talent. Their biggest compliment during the play is "I love the whistle." WTF
"This is where I want you to pay attention to the drumming" Don't pause in the middle of the the best drum part of the entire song then, what are you doing?
@@nathandjohnny I also found myself a bit annoyed by it, but its no big deal. If you make it a habit to rewind 5-10 seconds after pausing, that would help. Especially if you comment about something that just happened, as it lets the viewer relisten with the comment in mind.
“People aren’t meant to be this good at shit” is probably the most accurate description of these guys and I’m dying from it
U Guys also have actual content or Just got famous by other peoples Work ?
@@JButterZJ Who are you talking to?
Idk another RUclips reactor said "they're making love to this song," and honestly I feel like it's an equally accurate and appropriate reaction.

High-speed harmonics! Damn. And so much more. Good reaction, mates!
Thanks legend!

“PEOPLE AREN’T MEANT TO BE THIS GOOD AT S-T” 😂
I accidentally started the video right next to my sleeping infant, so thank you for starting by whispering “good morning party people” 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I honestly thought there would be death metal intro by looking at their appearance..but was pleasantly surprised by the Santana style guitar play at the beginning
Love the clean vibe of this! Appreciate it much more than the math rock kinda tone they usually go for 👌🏻
Polyphia is what i listen to when I just wanna space out but concentrate. It's killer workout music too.

think 'G.O.A.T' is a must!
G.O.A.T. is so good!
THAT BASS and DRUM pwheeefecct!!
I have been waiting for SO LONG FOR THIS BOYS
Happy to finally pull through haha
@@nathandjohnny fucking LOVE you guys
My favourite song by them!! Fire! 🔥
I told you guys... Thanks for responding and reacting!! Much love
Our pleasure 🤘🏽

We appreciate you mate
Polyphia out here showing us why ibanez are great guitars
Somehow I suspect they could show us why any guitar is a great guitar.
just found out about them recently and im amazed!
I'm not a fan of Instrumentalists, but I gotta give this band props, they are exceptionally talented and Tim Henson is insane!!!
Give Animals as Leaders a go :) Great band for folks "curious but not a big fan of" instrumental stuff.
God blessed these men with 20 fingers.
'Flamingo vibes' t shirt thanks.
With Nath standing on one leg 🦵
We got 2 Johnny Depps, Aquaman, and an Anime Protagonist.
Enchanting. And again thanks Johnny for speaking the truth: I will absolutely show this to my friends and then probably never watch it again.
Hell yeah! Been wanting you guys to watch this for awhile so glad you finally did! Knew Johnny would love it as a musician! Check out Tim Henson Playing God Unplugged he’s just not human! They have so many great song’s!
Time signatures and syncopation at it's best!

Agree, I have been constantly walking around whistling this song from the moment I first heard it.
"All those harmonics are bullshit."
couldn't have said it better. lmfao
My birthday is also 11th May. You guys rock
Hell yeah!
Nathan looks just like "Kane Williamson", the New Zealand Batsman.

Ay i just happen to be wearing the same shirt as Johnny haha
Looks like somebody went to the VoV/HA show recently 👀👀
Also Polyphia are just the best 👌
You know it!
Talking about flamingo vibes, you guys should check out the Norwegian balkan-metal-band Trollfest and their song "Dance Like a Pink Flamingo"!
Polyphia's talent just makes me want to quit... everything
Why? People have been far more successful with much less skill 😜
@@delbomb3131 Well, yes. But I'm talking about talent 😂😅

Handsome Johnny
My friends... is Flamenco pregressive!
If y'all haven't done the new song Tim Henson, Cory Wong, and Plini just dropped it is vibey a f!
Coming soon!
Uffff!
You guys should check out their songs Persevere and Crush. Both completely different songs from this and each other.
React to Unprocessed as well, recommend 'Deadrose'
Next reaction : Dreamcatcher - "Endless Night"
We only do new releases
the reason that the play wont work is cause you are RAPPING THE SPACE BAR every time you press it
Flamenco, flamingo, something like that...
Exactly
React to new Lamb Of God "Nevermore" pretty solid song!
Coming soon!
You look like their drummer.
react to anxiety from palaye royale pleaseeeee
Please guys react to Demi's new single 'skin of my teeth" thanks !
It’s coming

Sacrilege to pause in the middle of the drum fill
The entire video they speak nothing of how they play, and entirely about how they look and behave. Literally nothing about the talent. Their biggest compliment during the play is "I love the whistle." WTF
You’re awfully pent up for someone with an ultra cute doggo as their display pic.
I can appreciate their skill and all that but I just feel like most of their newer stuff just sounds like an overly complex R&B backing track.
"This is where I want you to pay attention to the drumming" Don't pause in the middle of the the best drum part of the entire song then, what are you doing?
