Was awesome riding with y'all that day! First time off-road on the IBEX and passing people left and right on the dusty trails, absolutely crushed it. Honestly, we might've had it coming with how much we looked forward to the waterfall and hyped it up only to have to stop 10 miles from it. Next year! 🤙

Cool Video Chase, I think it was certainly a pretty good pace for your first time off-road.

It's been really enjoyable to watch the videos surrounding your adventures on the IBEX, and ADV riding. I picked up a Tiger back in June and took it off road for the first time last Sunday. I'm new to ADV riding too and it's been confidence inspiring to see how well you tackle new things. Been considering what tires to upgrade to since I'm still on the stock Metzler tires that come on the GT Pro. Not really offroad tires, but they worked.
I have the same LoneRider luggage and yes it does offer a nifty air cushion! Definitely good padding to have and will make picking it up easier, too. Take care!

Hey Chase, I just wanted to say thank you for making that learn how to ride video series. I just got my first bike (a Kawasaki z125) and your video has helped so much with me learning. Second day and I already learned everything, just gotta practice downshifting!

Try unplugging the Quadlock charger, QI wireless chargers disrupt the Triumph key interlock systems. I've seen it on a few different Triumph models including my Tiger 800.

I have been running the Mitas e-07+ tires on my r1250gs adventure. These are probably the best 50/50 tires I have ever used. They are awesome on the road and very good on unpaved roads and off road.

Ofcourse the problem with Beuaus tiger is allready solved at this point but 2 quick things to do if this happens #1 check that you actually have fuel, fuel level sensors break, no matter the brand they break so see if you actually have fuel. #2 with modern bikes sometimes disconnecting battery leads for 30sec-1min might actually solve the problem as the conteol units reset and any temporary malfunctions could be cleared.

Oh yes the Dunlop trail Max mission tires call 50-50 tire are fantastic. They are the longest lasting tires I have ever had congratulations Dunlop. Please continue making these tires. They’re hard to find thank you again Dunlap in Buffalo New York.

i never liked Triumph machines, it's sad to spend that kind of money only for the machine to fail twice. I'm saving for up for an Ibex 800T as I don't want to trade in my NC750X

Tale as old as time. They never were good bikes. If one gets to 10K miles, consider that extremely lucky.
Another motovlogger, Freddie Dobbs, has a Triumph Bonneville and he can't find parts for it, in the same country that makes the bike.

Man I know people who put 40k miles on triumph motorcycles, and seen many still running to this day from the 70s. Including both of mine

  • @Danziman78
    @Danziman78 7 месяцев назад

I see you have the "ABS OFF" mod . Do you have a install vid or thought's on the mod as it would actually save me from buying the new top end model for no reason if the switch works as intended.

Glad (facetious) to see triumph has problems with all their bikes. Trident 660 needed a new MAP sensor and tube. Bike would die while riding then wouldn’t start.

I want to say there’s a young married couple traveling around the world. and they had trail Max mission tires from Dunlop on their Suzuki V Strom 1050 XT. They put almost 8 18,000 miles on them and they couldn’t find them nowhere for California they found them.. by the way, Chase keep up the good work love your videos

The mission maxs for me don't seem to have the best bite for me on loose dirt and mud, the E07s do better in that, but there is less road and wet road performance. Mainly feel for dry, as I can get right to the edge, and in wet weather they feel a bit squirrely. Going to Motoz DV/ADV for my next set and see how they feel.

You’re right about the Dunlop Trail max mission tires they are this good as you said, and then some and they’re made in Buffalo New York matter fact I think Dunlop motorcycle tires are the only motorcycle tire made in the united states.

Why don’t you ride with an ADV helmet? Is the street helmet just better for all around riding? Just curious! I love watching your videos series and the Ibex is a top contender for my next bike choice against the Tenere 700 and the Tracer 9 GT+

So don't ride a Zhejiang Chunfeng Power Co Ibex 800t offroad. Unless you spend money on it to make it useable. 100% pass on this Chinese brand.

The only qualm to not truly use it off road from dealership. Is street tires. Everything else is optional add on, beneficial yes but not required
