12 05 24 How sharpening should be expected

Don't get sucked in to allowing any sharpener near your tools. Give a new sharpener one or two items to see how well he/she will do. If your shears don't come back looking like they are brand new, don't use that sharpener again. Shears should not come back with a bevel if it's a convex shear. They should not come back with scratches, dullness, or the inability to cut. Be careful who you trust. In sharpening, Details Matter!
