What is Kevin even saying that Sam was forced to use customer deposits to repurchase ownership in his own company. Kevin is admitting that Sam used money that wasn’t his to buy back stock and claiming he had to do it for business reasons? Not to mention seeking 20 percent to his direct competitor in the first place. But he’s still gonna shill for him? Kevin is simply covering for the fact that he took a bribe and did no business thinking.

KO needs to understand what CZ figured out months ago: the $32 Billion valuation was almost entirely based on the FTT token's highly-manipulated valuation and not real cash or assets. Any real cash was being used up faster than it was coming in.

Most banks use customer deposits for their own purposes, and if all their customers tried to withdraw at the same time, they wouldn't be able to give all the money back because their investments aren't very liquid.
What makes FTX different is that they lied about it. They pretended to be a full-reserve bank when they were actually a fractional-reserve bank, and as a result, they should be held accountable.

People don't understand that people like O'Leary are not rich because they are always right about their investments, but because they are sometimes right about what will bring big profits and because they take risks and always try something new. The math is simple, the more times you try, the more chance you have of succeeding. Another extremely important thing is that he knows to cut losses at the very beginning, and not to fall deeper and deeper into debt hoping for some miracle that will turn the situation around.

Sam had seen enough of Too Big to Fail where the federal government bails out banks and corporations putting taxpayers on the hook. He was working with politicians in Congress to draft legislation that would put taxpayers on the hook for crypto currency.
