He's not going to do that.
And guess what? He will be no better about letting in "students" who end up working here and staying indefinitely.
He's the other side of a bent coin with Trudeau.

anyone who calls Our Great country home in their hearts is more Canadian thn our politicians
n wht Canadians need to do more thn anything is to stick 2gethr against Our common enemy, our guv.
what also needs to be seen is there is a real thing happening on Our planet called climate refugees, some r having to leave cus their areas r no longr habitable by Humans.

Who do Canadians trust in a new Election? There is no real choice. PP has shown himself to be a constant whiner nipping at Trudeau 's heels, no innovation and standing in the House of Commons every day lying and twisting facts. He would be a horrible PM. Just blah blah blah to get elected. Singh? Where has he been with all the videos we've seen of Indians and Pakistanis on the rampage, threatening Canada and Canadians and spitting on Canadian values and making Anarchist statements demanding to stay in Canada! We cannot vote for Singh. Trudeau needs to step up and demand that non-immigrants return home when their visas expire! He needs to fix housing and food prices and give jobs back to Canadians!

My wife was a registered nurse graduated from University of BC. She was fired and she lost her license for not getting the shot. How many Canadian nurses were eliminated from the system, and you talk about hiring foreign doctors and nurses. Why don't you talking about mRNA ban in Canada and make Canadians healthy again. Maybe we do not need that many doctors and nurses if we stop the Great Reset in Canada.

I along with many Canadians felt the same way About the VAX. And for me it was A disaster to keep people from their jobs, because they would not inject an unproven substance. For that very reason I was never more proud to be a Canadian. Some times we DO have to fight for our rights, and that was definitely one of those times.🍁

My mother was in high school when we had a real pandemic tuberculosis. She was taken from high school to train directly at the hospital and they lived in an old convent for their housing. Some of her friends went to train to be teachers too. I was very angry during the 2019 plandemic.

@brandonchan8255 I am not sure what numbers you are looking for. My mother was born in PEI in 1933 and finished high school 1948. Maybe do your own research on how many nurses & doctors were trained by the government during that time. I know one thing during tuberculosis. Canada was not letting medical staff go. It was a real pandemic.

My grandmother came from Yugoslavia during the war somewhere in the 1940/50s and she was a pychiatrist in Yugoslavia, had her masters and all that, highly esteemed. When she came to Canada, she did the whole masters program over again. She worked in as head psychiatrist in a mental hospital in Winnipeg for decades and died at 93 about 15 years ago. It makes me very impressed that she had to do her education twice, and she was a very cold, traumatized, standoffish and angry, isolated person. It took going through a terrible war to motivate her to be able to do that twice in her life and be successful twice. It sure is sad that she ever had to, however she was one of my heroes.

Every MP has the ability to call for a non-confidence vote of the government. It's also a convention of the Canadian constitution where basically every vote in The House is a confidence vote for every bill even if it's not explicitly a confidence vote, unless they say it's not a confidence vote which allows each member to vote their own conscience rather than on party lines. The problem is they don't have the votes to meet a conservative line.

For starters, reducing spending and balancing the budget will go a long way toward reducing inflation. Our current government is printing money to pay for their overspending. Therefore you have more currency trying to buy the same number of goods. A recipe for inflation. Freeland and Trudeau have doubled the national debt and are on an unsustainable course. Terrible money management. You couldn’t run your household spending more money than you make every year. Conservatives will curb unnecessary spending and balance the budget.

Wouldn't you rather have to pay less on home heating, gas at the pump and who do you think ultimately covers the increased shipping costs on food and goods for your home? It's you and me. The carbon tax being eliminated, will give you more money available for your mortgage should it go up.
I would also add, if government spending goes down BoC interest rates will go down. We cover government spending by increasing these rates which directly effect your mortgage payments, and we cover those costs with raising taxes on goods and services. Think long and hard where your money is going, why it's going there, and are you actually benefiting for the increased costs? If it's working, so be it. If it's not, think about why and how we can change the reasons these costs are increasing.

    • @ScribblyDoodle
      @ScribblyDoodle 10 дней назад +3

Investing in LNG to sell to China and india so they can transition off of coal. It has the potential to lower global emissions by far more than if Canada became completely neutral, and would stimulate our economy in the process.
Also to take the red tape off of nuclear projects, especially small modular reactors, which have far less risk compared to old school nuclear. So much of Canada's problems are coming from red tape and a top heavy bureaucracy making it nearly impossible to get anything done. All of the cuts that PP has talked about is not in essential services, but in unnecessary govt positions that are only slowing things down and costing money.
Besides, the solution to emissions isn't taxes, it's innovation. Making gas more expensive doesn't impact most people's use of it, it just makes people more broke.
Bottom line is that LNG isn't perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than coal, and we can be the ones providing it. The liberals are against it because they see it as 'investing in dirty energy', which completely ignores the larger picture.
