Absolutely love my Radius CX. When I first rode it after dealer installation it slipped some at full throttle in higher gears. A slight free play adjustment fixed that and it's worked flawlessly since.

Loved this....I have a CX on my 500EXC-F. Love the backing it out to bump start option. Saves me from getting that Capacitor setup for a dead battery. 👍 Another great video!!

You still need the cap to bump start it if the battery is dead

It would be nice to see a video on the cable operated clutch, as the adjustment is not so straight forward.

Mine is revving suuuuuper high before engaging and slips a lot. Definitely gotta adjust mine.

Love my Rekluse on KTM500 even more now that I have changed the EXP springs. From factory it had 3 gold (heavy duty) and 3 blue (heavy) springs. With correct free play gain it would freewheel on downhills and clutch wouldn’t fully engage at low revs. You can alleviate that by adjusting the slave cylinder counter clockwise but that is really just hiding the problem. Changed to 6 red (medium) springs and it now gives me engine breaking at far lower revs and clutch fully engages at lower revs. What a difference. So it is worth the 15 minute job to experiment with spring rates. This really helps you if you like to ride the 500 in a taller gear and utilise the torque. Probably not an issue if riding the 350 or 250 due to being ridden in those higher rev range.

Have the cx on the work bench, putting in soon as I get the time. Will try stock and will keep your suggestion in mind. I do tend to ride single track in a higher gear, love the torque in this motor….

Hi i got the same bike with rekluse clutch. But when i shift into first it slams the gear kinda hard and neutral is almost impossible to get to. And second gear is also kinda stiff, but 3 4 5 6 is easy to shift to. Is it the same for you?

@@whistlingpetrol5592 sounds like the clutch isn’t disengaging fully when you pull lever in. If it’s all setup correctly then I’m at a loss to explain. Tried putting new oil in bike, synthetic good quality oil?

With Harley Davidson it's a different ball game, you have to pull the durby cover off the bike then un loosen the nut in order to turn the adjustment bolt, the has to be standing almost straight up so you don't loose fluid then you have to guess on how much to turn it, then tighten the nut back up, put the durby cover back on then re test it. Mines normally slips after year riding season if I'm on the high way and go into 6 the gear it slips so I have to adjust it. There was a video of a guy who had one of the clips break on his and he couldn't shift gears and was stuck, he said rekluse updated the clips but I am not sure if my kit was updated already when I installed mine roughly 4 years ago. I would hate to ave one break on my bike especially when I am at bike week ,

My 350 works well (maybe a little slip) at 2100 rpm idle set. Only issue is that my chutch lever has to be almost all the way in to disengage. I thought it had air in it or something. Put new fluid in it and flushed. Still the same. I guess I'll go in and check the clutch basket next.

So with this setup you can run it as an auto clutch if you want but then also as a regular clutch if you wanted? Can you use it as a normal clutch or is it just for bump starting purposes? And is there a knob that can be put on the external adjustment or is it tool only?
