WRONG!!! I did watch it all the way through and loved it as my grandson is into Thomas. So in short I know at lest ONE person watched the entire video (and LOVED it)!
I’ve scrolled passed this video thinking it was another oo gauge terrier and coaches, only to realize, holy moly! This is O scale? ON AMERICAN TRACK?! AWESOME!!!!
What an absolutely gorgeous model! And those cars are so beautiful! I had no idea these existed! You are lucky to have a friend like Sid. And you should make a video about your UK trip, I really enjoyed your Bluebell Railway video. - Ryan
Good Lord what an absolutely fabulous trainset RJ! Man, am I jealous! It's drop-dead gorgeous! And what a job Sid did on the conversion! That young man's a genius! Hey, I've got an Idea, how about you program the N&W's Class J whistle into Stepney? Then it'll sound like the Queen Mary! A ittle "Britannia Rules The Waves!" on the layout! And those empty cars are just crying out for some figurines like Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Watson, some Dickens characters plus some Harry Potter people thrown in. Of course there should be two VERY responsible railway workers on Stepney with Sir Topham Hatt on a station platform. What a fun video! Thanks for posting!
Hi there. I am new to your channel. Nice work with the Terrier. If you wanted a UK diesel locomotive that is nice and heavy. Check out the Class 60 from Heljan. That thing is 3.8kg in weight. As for the sounds, I am not a steam train expert but it sounds okay to me. Keep up the great work buddy.
Thanks for the idea! Truthfully I am just trying to stick to locomotives that were in Thomas and Friends haha. Next locomotive is a GWR 14xx, then either a Class 08 or Pannier
Beautiful little train RJ! The conversion to 3-rail is a real accomplishment. Sid does great work. Your trip to Europe looked amazing, Europe really has their train systems down. I've had the pleasure of taking the high-speed train from Paris to Brussels and back and was very impressed with it. Did you take the train from Paris to London?
Very nice! Sid is the Norm Charbonneau of electronics, for sure. That is one cool locomotive. I was lucky enough to ride the ICE in Germany not too long after its introduction. It is certainly a cherished memory. The Olympic Village in Munich is pretty cool, aside from the memory of the terrorist attacks in 1972. I got to swim in the Olympic Pool, which is open to the public and was something special, for me. Hopefully, you got to check out all of the areas of Belgium, Holland and France, also, while you were there. Not just the historic sites, but the great railroad action, also. I'll be in Italy next year and hopefully I'll be riding the rails around the country. Either way, I see that things are coming along with the layout upgrade. Great job. An excellent video, as always.
10:53 Interesting how when the train traverses the Atlas switch, the coaches' leading wheelsets just float over the frog, while the trailing ones 'clunk' across them. I'll be facing this issue with the mess of Lima O scale UK and European rolling stock I've acquired, since: (1) I'm still running tubular track (albeit with 072 curves and the only switches are converted Atlas 2-rail ones), (2) the fact that many of the movements I intend to make with them involve hitching these oddballs to the back of more typical US trains, as if they were being transported from a port to an exhibition/museum. I also have one of their UK Class 33 diesels, with which I intend to install pickup rollers and a Mini Commander for my Mark 1 coaches. I suppose I can pull the others with my MTH SBB Cargo electric (now that I remember I have one of those :D) or my ETS Czech diesel shunter. If you follow the OGR forum, I've been posting photos of this equipment in their _"Buy Anything Cool Lately"_ thread (in fact, I have another post going up today as of this writing).
I just saw your latest post in that thread and I love that DB Lima coach, I could definitely use a whole train of those, or in OBB paint. I would like more O Gauge European trains eventually but I also have a layout to build. Yes the coaches clunk over the frog, and because they are so light if they go too fast through the switch they derail. Just glad I can run them.
It always starts with one… pray for this man… Nah I’m just joking! Enjoy your dip into British stuff! Do you think you’d add anything else like a Diesel Switcher?
WRONG!!! I did watch it all the way through and loved it as my grandson is into Thomas. So in short I know at lest ONE person watched the entire video (and LOVED it)!

I watched the "Bluebell" video. Did I forget to check the 'Like thumb ? 'BLUEBELL'✅🚂
I knew about Stepney. You just mentioned him at the end of your last layout update. By the way, congrats on the new layout!
Thank you!

Might be my favorite piece you own now! A perfect engine for you and an excellent video dude, loved the intro especially
(and my Mercury!) ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
😂 I have been thinking about doing this for like the last year! You beat me to it! 😂 Good job though 👍😁
Super cool
Nothing like an oddball
Too bad MTH doesn't make European engines anymore
So different than our trains
Great stuff
thanks! And it is a shame MTH no longer makes European stuff, oh well
Stepney was made famous in a Tracy Ulman video. Nice video, good job.😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
Super enjoyed this 😊
Awesome, thank you!
Sweet, RJ. Thanks much.
Very cool great looking locomotive
Thank you very much!
Been hanging out with TJ I see.. HO models and 2 rail models…. 🧐🤔
😂🤣😂🤣 looks great man!
I did enjoy the bluebell video and I would love to see more of your European travels I just posted a travel video myself on the DT Shortline

I wanna know the same
I emailed Sid asking he do a video on this conversion.

Great train great detail😊😊😊
That’s amazing 😃but it’s too bad there isn’t like a kit or something you could buy to make it run on 3 rail as you had to figure it out yourself 😢

Think you might get some of the European models from MTH especially the LMS Coronation Scot class and Princess Royal class
I will if I can find them for the right price. In the meantime I might stick with the converting 2 rail model route.
Laughs in USA 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
You open to commissions?
I wasn’t the one who made this, so no haha. Sid’s Trains did the conversion
It always starts with one… pray for this man…

Yes I would like to eventually add more British stuff, next I would like to add something German
