Everyone slim no overweight and lots of people cycling
There’s a distinct lack of any Motorcycles
Almost every second car was a Ford Popular. They came in a variety of colours as long as it was black.
They were available in many colours. All of them were black except for the ones that were black.

Scenes shot at Staines Bridge and Bridge Street (not really in London!). I wonder what this film was about. The buses feature heavily.
No, Middlesex in those days ...
Look. Grown adults using bicycles as transportation.
You were expecting skateboards, maybe?
Not at all. The fact that adult can use bicycles as transport, rather than recreation, or toys for their children, seems to have been lost.
@Simon Frampton Things are much changed. My father's parent didn't own a car until 1959. Either they took the bus or walked. Grandmother said you could get groceries, bread and milk home delivered.
@@tonyboloni64 It’ll probably come back now though, now that prices of petrol are increasing, more and more congestion, and many cities are building bike lanes. I know I’ll be using a bike when I grow up.
@@krystiankowalski7335 Or maybe an electric car
I probably put some of those bus numbers down in my Ian Allan bus spotters book!
My dad was a kid in the 50s and passed on his ian Allen bus + lorry spotters books to me . That love subsequent love I got of these old vehicles is probably why I'm watching this now .
That time air quality was very good
Are you being serious?
@@joshuacottrell2742 leaded fuel and coal in the air mmmmm
Better today than in 1950 by a mile
You are incorrect.
A lack of e.m. nice😎😃
The double decker buses look Royal but the cars seems to be out of place, lousy
Wierd camera angles.
I agree. Not a good video at all.

Probably 95% of the people that you just seen in this video are dead today. Come to know the Son of God Jesus Christ who is God the Father as your personal Lord and Savior before your day comes. Understand, there is only one way to God the Father and that is through forgiveness from his Son Jesus Christ. John14.6.
