About Pete And His Bus: Pete is a normal (ish) guy who has a big passion for old vehicles and particularly old buses. He is NOT a trained mechanic nor is he a professional restorer. He enjoys converting vehicles but he can not promise that what he is doing is going to work on your vehicle. Nor can he promise that you won’t harm yourself if you were you to attempt the things he does. He recommends that you are safe and responsible with machinery and equipment even if you’ve seen him messing about with it. A workshop and it’s content can be a dangerous place. If you are in doubt about your own vehicle, contact a professional for advice. - Развлечения
It's brings an emotional tear to my eye when I see a new video appear.
Truly and wonderfully delightful.
It's another 10/10.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Actually surprisingly moving when that bus was finally driven away!! I hope you will keep us updated with how the work goes with it and any events it does next year.
Will try
Why I get emotional when the buss moved under it's own power
I did, that poor thing been sat there all that time!! It was a lovely moment
Wow what a moment to
witness RM843 drive away
from it's spot , l shed a
little tear , there is one more
thing, in Australia when riding
a bike , helmet should be worn , l don't want to find out
that you hurt your brain &
Pete & his Bus is finished
So put on the helmet &
clip on the buckle 😮😮😁
PS think of the old days
Clunk Click every trip 🙄
pps , gonna need a
refurbished interior 🤔🤔
it's the music they used..try watching without the sound you'll see
Thanks for rescuing the bus Pete. I'd hate for these buses to rot away and lose a peice of transport history
These videos have cheered me up as I'm stuck immobile at the min due to cycle accidentb😢
I'd love a tour of your barn one day must be incredible !
Keep up the good work dude!
Best of luck in recovery mate!
A big massive well done Pete and of course Lord Barrington, and yes i have a tear rolling down my face, seeing another of my fav type of bus moving under it's own power. Wondering how the one you saved in scotland is getting on and what the next episode will be.

Me as a person that is interested into classic busses, I have really enjoyed watching this series from the start, to the 42nd episode! :D
I would say Pete is inspirational and kind of motivational looking back at this series in retrospect.
Keep up to good work Pete! :)
You’re very kind! 👍👍
Brilliant to see another RM on the move. Love the zany content of your vids Pete. I'm only in Eastbourne. I've just got an 1957 Austin A35 back on the road, and it's helped me get my strength back after a stem cell transplant. I saved the car and the car saved me !! Looking forward to the next one 👍
Lovely! Great to hear that. Thanks for watching

@@PeteAndHisBusIt would be amazing to find out about your good fellow, the woodbine toaking rust fighting diesel whispering Lord Barrington. Seems a very helpful and knowledgeable companion, maybe even the brains of some of these adventures! (but shush don't tell him)
Another bus saved.amazing how many old buses left abandoned and bodywork looks good.

What a great sign to see the Routemaster move again it shows how well made and reliable AEC Engine are after many years idle they still start ! Do miss AEC buses in Christchurch, New Zealand riding In a Regal MklV or a Reliance,Swift, just love the sound of an AEC Engine.
I can imagine, the sound is lovely isn’t it!? Thanks for watching 👍👍
I first saw RM 843 some years ago when I drove along the B2102 on the way to a church weekend away at Pilgrim Hall - I have photos somewhere! I went back there several times in subsequent years and was sorry to see it slowly deteriorating. Well done for all the restoration work!
It’s exactly how I felt! Thanks for your kind words 👍
This was an emotional ride! Great choice of dramatic music too.
👍👍
feel your excitement Congratulations
❤️❤️
Amazing to see RM 843 move out of the field Pete. Wonderful stuff, I almost had a tear in my eye 😁. Top marks to you and Lord Barrington for getting it this far. Hopefully we get to see what the owners do to her 👍

Dirty fuel tank edition!! 😂😜
Drove passed the field the other day and could see it had moved, its on the other side of the field now! Great work fellas. Cheers
Yep, they’re clearing the driveway to put her by the house
excellent video, as usual. love the old routmasters. used go too school on them, in the 70s living near Durham, ours had the front door entrance, so not so
handy too jump on and off at bus stops. operated by the northern bus company, who still have a one, which, i think they've owned from new. 😂it's available for private hire, wedding etc.
1 owner bus, now that’s a rarity! Thanks for watching

Thanks 👍
Excellent Pete good one thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic work 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you!
Another fantastic episode! I don't what it about these buses that elicits an emotional response!! Must be your story telling. I love the RM843 story and cheered when she finally moved under her own power out of this field. Also loved the slideshow/montage at the end of Episode 39 (or was it 38) showing 843 in service then as a Bravo TV Channel "Champion" and her (not quite) final resting place. I'm not even a Londoner so don't have a huge experience with Routemasters, here in Bath my childhood double-decker memories were Bristol Lodekka's, VRT's and Leyland Olympian's with a light sprinkling of MCW Metrobuses!!
I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it! I like a good Bristol!! One day perhaps
A true testimony to how we used to build things....well done guys....loved the video....
❤️❤️
Well done guys. She’s beautiful ❤
👍👍👍
Great work!

Brilliant idea there for Pete and his bus merch.
That engine was ticking over like it was still in service in a LT garage somewhere and stirred my childhood Red Rover memories , well done both of you, terrific work!
Thank you
I laughed so hard when our good lord threw the furniture out the window.
Seriously well done it’s been part of your life for a long time. Bet you never thought you would be the one to rescue it
