Hey, man. Am new to guitar (less than 1 year) but play many hours a day and have checked-out hundreds (thousands?) of guitar related uploads and just wanted to say, having just discovered your channel, I think your lessons are excellent and I wish you continued success in this and all other endeavours.
Yes, well, the first couple of months were touch-and-go as I am on the low-end of the talent totem pole but once I got over the "rhythm" hump (many hours of strumming muted strings), my world opened up and a casual interest in guitar became an almost all-consuming passion for music (more specifically, music theory applied to guitar), a feeling I imagine you know quite well. Regards from Canada.
Hi Martin - that would be great, we are just working out the details with that festival as the venue we were booked to play at, has just closed down and they are trying to re-allocate us. We are also playing the Congleton festival pretty soon. We'll give a facebook update, when we know for definate about Nantwich
Loving your videos!!!! I learned an easy muddy waters, of the middle two strings, 0-5-0-3-0, thunk thunk thu thunk, 0-5----3-0... thunk thunk... thank you SO MUCH FOR BREAKING THAT CYCLE in this video!
The reason i subscribed was a video you did that was EXACTLY on my level!!!! I think maybe it was a slide lesson...but you had a funny message for people that wasnt on that level yet... i laughed for a day...
Thinking about it, I think know the video you are talking about. I'd been looking on RUclips for a slide lesson teaching a bunch of licks, but couldn't find any. Just found lots of videos teaching how to tune a guitar, how to hold the slide, how to slide a chord or note etc. all too basic and not showing any licks. So I decided to make my own and ignore all that intro stuff.
Hi Kent - Lesson 2 is going to be Texas style. Looking at rhythm patterns inspired by SRV - specifically Pride and Joy and Love Struck Baby. It's filmed and I'll be editing it over the next few days.
Love it . I love Muddy Waters music . Thanks for showing the tabs outline.
