My brother and I watched the filming of the scene at the train station. In the book, it was Route 128 but that station was too busy to use as a filming location. Instead, they filmed it at the nearby Sharon MA train station. We watched them block out the shot and then the car collision itself.
I also see a 1970 Chevrolet C/K, a 1971-1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88, an extremely rare Maroon Alfa Romeo, a 1968 Plymouth Valiant, a 1968 Datsun Station Wagon, a White 1971 Mercury Cougar, a 1971 Ford LTD, a 1970 Ford LTD, a 1962 Impala, a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, a 1968 Pontiac Bonneville/Catalina/LeMans/Tempest, a 1970 Lincoln Continental, a 1966 Oldsmobile 442, a 1973 Chevrolet Nova, a 1970 AMC Gremlin, a 1971 Oldsmobile 98, a 1969 Oldsmobile 98, and an extremely rare White Volvo P1800 along with more.
What makes this film resonate today is it’s a look at the Boston underworld and how it was enabled by the FBI (puzzled the crooked government guy Foley is a T-Man as opposed to FBI).
No coincidence that the author was a former district attorney in Boston, he knew what was going on behind closed doors with the Top Echelon informant program for sure. That and it's a trip back to the Boston of old looks wise, that many remember as real Boston, myself included.
Was a big loss, but probably fixed as it wasn't totaled .. Wasn't a base model it had the optional vinyl top !! Duel sport mirrors that were painted and chrome wheel lip moldings that's another option ! Any Mopar that's totaled a loss, but this wasn't totaled ! I bet it was fixed up after..Hell,if I was o the crew I would have begged for it lol...
That would be a magnum sir.. got one exactly like it my grandpa bought new in 71.Curious yellow color. 383 bored .060, 557 solid lift cam, reverse pattern manual shift on column, 391 posi gears. Looks bone stock until you pop tha hood. Mopar or no car!!
727 automatics were quicker than a 4 speed standard.....I also prefer the column shift automatic's...I have a 68 Road Runner with a column also a 1968 Charger RT 1 column ,1 console my 69 Charger is console....My 71 Cuda is a slap stik atuo/console...72 Road Runner bench seat, column and a 400 4bbl p code that ran 13.70's bone stock back in 1978 with bias ply 14 inch tires and only mod were headers/carburetor swap ! Now a stroker thats a 10 second car in street trim, meaning 235 70 series 14 inch tires and 3.23 gearing !! (like my 68 Charger RT I own 535 stroker,69 is a 512 ci right now,was a 505 the 505 is going in my 69 Charger I just restored and its going up for sale soon ).. I have a 73 Challenger Rallye 340 4 speed ,I guess you would like that one..But man, those old 4 speeds are not like driving a modern standard trans as the clutch pedal on old cars are stiff..Most younger guys cant drive it,even though they own a new Mustang,Camaro,Corvette or even a new Challenger 6 speed or an Oriental or German manual transmission car...They cant drive a older manual as its stiff as hell compared to a new one lol ! I do enjoy the 4 speed once in a while but the 727 is tougher, quicker and more durable than a stick shift car..I daily drove a 68 Charger 383 high performance 4 speed for 7 years in the 1980's..ran low 12's stock 383 but 4.30 axle !!! Fun car !
Hahahaha,That always gets me "383 Hemi''. Somebody messed up the script that day. Hahaha,Thumbs Up for the re-upload.

So why wasn’t footage/dialogue of the guns in the trunk - 5:53 - shown? YT claiming community standards? Sheesh ☹️
Yes they do have their standards you know ...I just watched a nude catwalk show
Base model bird....color was rare but not a big loss....correct answer was "383 SUPER COMMANDO"

Column auto bench.......meh, plenty of muscle to choose from back then......just another used car
@@timpriddy349 Wrong, this was about the last of them before emissions & bumpers ruined them for years to come, 4 listed on Hemmings, all over $40k.
