calling the crypt storage is very Kayla, also side note can you set the jewelry from crystal creations as heirlooms because the idea of passing down a wedding ring to your daughter or granddaughter sounds really sweet
nearly anything that doesn't expire/rot or isn't single use can be heirlooms. there are some exceptions but spellcaster wands, books, jewelry, instruments, tea sets, idols from jungle adventures etc are all avaliable
It might be interesting to create a lot that functions as both the cemetery lot and the wedding venue lot so you could have the kind of "local church" vibe which is common here in the UK
I have a church I built to be for all my weddings. Now I'm wondering how I could make it so that it would also work for funerals. I have a reception hall in the basement, so that would *not* be a good place for the funeral but I should be able to change the chapel area to work for both.
I built the church in the lot next to my graveyard lot (i use chipped sims graveyard mod) so I could give my sims the illusion of having the graveyard and church on the same lot
While I can't speak for everyone, obviously, I absolutely LOVE hearing and seeing your cats in your videos. Snap's tail in the camera or one of her little screams always bring me joy. I love talkative old lady cats ❤
Just a recommendation, there’s a grave earth item from Vampire’s Debug that looks like a grave‘s plot/freshly dug up earth, maybe that would be a nice addition :) loving the build! ❤️
Gorgeous! You mentioned building one in every world- I’d LOVE to see one in Willow Creek! It’s based on New Orleans, a city well known for its iconic graveyards. The pack may not have oven crypts, but the mausoleums and above-ground burial plots (bc of high water table/flooding) are PERFECT for a Crescent City Cemetery!
Okay since I happen to be early... can we pls do rags to riches with a full household of Stanley’s and see how quickly we can make money using various different methods you’ve found to be the best???
I love the idea of a cemetery for every world - I feel like a Del Sol Valley one would be interesting, pulling inspiration from, like, any of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemeteries, where stars are often buried.
I think a "second" cemetery in Henford-on-Bagley makes sense; the inaccessible one could be a historic gravesite that can't be added to nor moved (or visited, but that's just a S4 idiosyncrasy).
10:44 My grandpa owns a large plot of land and he's spent years planting trees to reforest the area. All of my family members pick out their own tree so if/when one of us dies, that's the tree that we'd be buried under to in a sense "become" that tree. I used to have a cat named Jazzmin (I was in 4th grade when I got her as a kitten and insisted on a phonetic spelling lol) I plan on burying her remains with Jasmine flowers close to my tree. :)
@@GrangerPOVs it is indeed a cute idea. But pastelnerd is partially right. To give a traditional burial can cause issues if it's done adjacent to a tree, depending on the tree species, as deceased bodies give off a lot of nitrogen. A more environmentally conscious alternative that works with the idea is a Tree Pod burial. Or at the very least, a biodegradeable casket.
@@SageArdor I am aware. I only wanted to share the meaning my family has for burying our deceased under trees because lilsimsie mentioned that it's a thing people do; I didn't feel like typing out an in-depth explanation on how to dispose of dead bodies in the comment section of a sims video. Edit: typo
Cypresses are very common in graveyards bc their roots grow vertically! That way they won’t disturb the graves and can be planted close to them! If u want to make the 64x64 graveyard realistic use a bunch of those ehehehe ❤️
I am going to build an 11th century church with grave yard. But on a much bigger lot. I love ancient architecture and the new cemetery lot excites me a lot. I will be using the castle kit.
I sure wish real life cemeteries were required to have a bathroom! One of my most embarrassing childhood memories was having to pee in the bushes a few meters away from grandpa's grave with the whole family watching LOL (in my defense, I was maybe 6)
I love the idea of building a new cemetery for each world. It would be so cool to have a cemetery for each one of them, they could be of very different sizes and styles that match each place. I hope you really do it!
This is the earliest I’ve ever been to any video ever

A cemetery for every world would be amazing. It'd be very fun to watch. You do an amazing job with blending the landscaping into the different esthetics of the worlds.
I am thinking that the Park in SanMyshuno would be a perfect lot for lilsimsie to make into her own graveyard as its the largest lot and as a park its out of the way and forgotten, plus it has a great wall around it.
I love your builds. Please consider including a "museum" part in a legacy cemetery build that would display photos of the main 10 heirs. I'm so bad at building, but I do this for all my legacy challenges. I put a large photo of the sim with some clutter/collection/debug items that coordinate with their story. For example, I'm doing a pack challenge and the outdoor retreat sim has camping, fishing and herbalism things below her photo. It's one of my favorite things and I love being able to commemorate the heirs with a personalized area. If you do this, it could even be in the basement of the funeral parlor.
been watching you a lot during high school and pandemic, probably that was the last time too. now ive logged in to this acc feels so good to see you still posting hehe now im already in college and only playing sims once in awhile still enjoy watching you tho🫶
I love this and I'm thinking of creating something similar but with a kitchen in another room so that food can be served after the viewing like how we do in real life after the service. I'd like to see that. I love what you've done here.
I'd love a cemetery for each world! Island living could have a really cool island themed one and Mt Komerebi or Tomarng could have more of a shrine with urns.
multiple adjacent churches/graveyards isnt that weird i think. iirc they used to divide people by all sorts of things, from race, gender, marital status, religious calling, even how they died. and cities have to zone cemeteries specifically for use due to potential contaminants in the soil, so a bunch in the same area is totally plausible. also someone else mentioned that historical sites may restrict/forbid new internment, old graveyard might be full, etc. theres lots of reasons henford-on-bagley might need a new/second one :3c
I know i told you this before, but my cat still love watching your videos and sh loves your voice, if im watching you, she climbs on me to hear the vibrations of your voice❤😊
Classmates of mine whose mom is a high school teacher had their dad/husband pass away a year ago from an accident, and the amount of people who showed up to this funeral couldn’t even fit on this entire lot. It was honestly very heartwarming. They had like three overflow rooms full in the funeral home
I think it'd be super cool to do an "underground" cemetery - using items like vampires, werewolves, Life & death, etc. to make a really neat underground crypt with extra storage!
I've been waiting for you to build a graveyard! i have covid for the first time and watching your videos really distract me from feeling sick, and amazing build! I wish some day I could be as a good builder as you!
Right, I'm excited for all the features, but I'm not excited to have them not be in basegame. I also read today someone from Romania feeling let down that it eas basically just a generic death world with romanian architecture, but they didn't include the cultural touches like naming townies or foods after romanian dishes. I'm getting to the point where I just don't want to support games that have investors and mega corporations involved with them, because it's just a waste of my money and leads to the death of games.
Hey Simsie, would you ever make a video showing lots with the best lighting and lots with the worst lighting for building? I always try to remember which lots have good light and which have bad light and I can never remember!
Henford Bagley is based on britain you want a accurate place for death, and weddings a really gothic church, with lots of land and trees. enough for future plots. and you need scenery. and that 64 x 64 lot or the 50 x 40 lot is perfect for that, in the middle of nowhere. it is suppose to look timeless.

@@auroraelizavetaross4575 I would love a mini series on this!
I'd love to see that! ❤
Same! I’d love to see them each done in the style of the world!
@lilsimsie
"i'm gonna need a lot of storage" is an absolutely unhinged way to refer to crypts/graves and we love simsie for it xD
you seen the inventory last video? 56 urns and tombstones in inventory on ONE sim.
calling the crypt storage is very Kayla, also side note can you set the jewelry from crystal creations as heirlooms because the idea of passing down a wedding ring to your daughter or granddaughter sounds really sweet
Yes you can because I made the bracelets with moonstone as heirlooms in my games because I have a vampire family
nearly anything that doesn't expire/rot or isn't single use can be heirlooms. there are some exceptions but spellcaster wands, books, jewelry, instruments, tea sets, idols from jungle adventures etc are all avaliable

It might be interesting to create a lot that functions as both the cemetery lot and the wedding venue lot so you could have the kind of "local church" vibe which is common here in the UK
Same in the US. Local churches here also do both
First thing i built in sims 4 was an english church! I'm not even religious, but i love churches

I’m planning on building St Louis no 1 on the museum lot, I just build Jackson Square to replace the park
I built one in willow creek today! I still have to landscape but I’m pretty proud of it 🥲

The lighthouse island in Brindleton Bay would serve as a good graveyard lot because there is a pet grave yard to the left of the actual building lot

If you've ever visited Salem Massachusetts you will know it's certainly not that weird having multiple Cemeteries in a small down town area lol
Yes!! In my tiny town of less than 1000, we have 3 (that I know of!) cemeteries! At least in my area, you'll see cemeteries evvvverywhere
@nataliee2792 I love the east coast for this reason lol
