Yes this bad situation is related to America sanctions but we all know this fact that Iran provides some of essential parts of commercial airplanes from black market and replace this parts with vintage parts of airplanes but this way was not very effective because America sanctions almost blocks all the ways of buy the airplanes for Iran even in black market
If any Iran air pilot see this message, please let us know as a honest opinion, if Fokker 100 is a safe plane to fly with? Of course for many many trips this plane is the only choice but I want to know if it's really safe to fly with. Due to sanctions we as a passengers, are not sure if flight agencies may receive spare parts for services and maintenance of the plane. Please let us know if you read the message, thanks
