I'm an Owner Operator Truck Driver and I've been in there at the Main Warehouse before... I can't say anything bad about them... I LOVE their Sliced Hamburger Pickles!...
Been there many times, fast unloads, reloads. People are very friendly, if you get there early, no problem. As trucker I thank them immensely!! Other companies could learn from them! GREAT PICKLES TOO!!
I love reading truckers' reviews of company warehouses on Google Maps. Truckers aren't part of the company's workforce, so they are honest, and how a company treats them at its facility says A LOT about that company. If a company thinks that truckers' time isn't valuable, then maybe that company's products aren't worth my time either.
Did the Yankees ever catch the side jokes about working at the pickle factory in Mt.Olive on The Andy Griffith Show? Actually Barney couldn't have held a job there but it was funny.
I’ve never had their pepperoncinis. I usually get the jalapeños and banana peppers for my sandwiches for lunch. Gonna have to be on the lookout for those next time I’m at the market
My grandparents and all their children made their own pickles. My parents made their own pickles. I've tried many pickle brands. Now, I buy only Mt. Olive pickles!
As a NC resident, I've been eating Mt. Olive pickles and relish my entire life. Back in high school, a Sun Drop and large dill pickle was a frequent and much enjoyed lunch. Till this day, it remains one of my favorite snacks when I am in a hurry. And their relish, well it ain't a hot dog without it. Love Mt. Olive!
Just moved to NC this year but have had Family in the Triangle forever. I was always jealous that they knew the truck days and times and could get the freshest jars from the stores…now that I’m here that’s what I try and do 😂
Same here, born and raised in NC. I typically eat my cheeseburgers with mayonnaise and pickles. And it doesn't taste right unless it's Mt. Olive kosher dill chips, lots of them. And any sandwich made in NC with any other mayonnaise than Duke's is just retarded LOL. I live not too far from Salisbury, so we like to wash everything down with Cheerwine.
We were stationed in Spain with a couple who grew up in Mt Olive. Debbie and Al Sutherland became our good friends and next door neighbors. Debbie always said when Al retired they were going back to Mt Olive. If you all are like Debbie and Al it must be a wonderful place to live and work.
I have traveled the world extensively and no matter what country I’m in I love pickles and there isn’t any better pickles anywhere that beats Mt Olive pickles!
Y’all do know that whoever has the best pickles is completely subjective. It’s all in what you like to eat. They say that mt olive is the best and that’s their opinion. Nothing wrong with that
We have a great supply of empty Mt. Olive pickle jars, the large ones. The reason we have all these jars is that we love Mt. Olive pickles. Each year, we give our local Blessings Shop' our excess empty jars. Sounds funny? Well, they love these empty jars because the customers buy all that we give them and ask for more. Beats me what they do with them. Pretty good deal, we are blessed by the goodness of Mt. Olive pickles and are twice blessed when we give away the jars. Thanks, Mt. Olive Pickle Company!
I started watching this, had to pause it so I could grab myself big ole mount olive dill pickle to enjoy. Funny side note, I grew up living behind a pickle factory in Atmore Alabama. I buy only mount olive peppers and pickles now. Great job American made!!!
Mt Olive's No Sugar Added Bread and Butter pickles are almost as good and sweet tasting as their regular version. I can sit down and eat an entire jar of them they're so good.
Its good to see that they have so many PEOPLE working in that place vs it being all amazon like and over automated. It means I can buy their pickles for the next 10 years and not feel bad.
While I was watching this video, I told myself that I was going to go have an Olive, and then I decided I was having a salad, then I discovered I had NO Sweet Heat Jalapeño slices to add. Major disappointment, but I carried on. Next trip to my local market I will resupply and then some. The Sweet Heat slices are so delicious and crispy and hard to resist eating half of the jar. Thanks, Mount Olive, for your consistent delicious !

I have been eating Mount Olive pickles for about 35 years! They are the best, I love the Bread and Butter pickles! I recently expanded my taste to include sliced dills! My mother use to can great big crocks of salt brine pickles! Unfortunately the recipes were not shared after her death. So sad! RIP Mother! Keep up the great job, Mount Olive!
I bought two huge jars of Mt. Olive Kosher dill pickles as I like pickles...and these are the best...with the largest jars which I give to my nurse when I'm done eating all of the pickles...her husband is a 'prepper' and loves the jars...a Win/Win.
I am from NC grew up with Mt Olive pickles I moved to the west coast and they did not have them... up untill 2 years ago I was excited! Just need a smithfields now.
A great company and great products. Used to buy the gallon kosher dill pickles until Mt. Olive discontinued them. Luckily, they still make the 1/2 gallon size. In the many years I have been buying their kosher dill pickles, I have only had a few jars that were not fully picked and the cucumbers were tough. When that happened, I would contact the company and after giving them the product code off of the jars, they would send me a coupon to redeem at the store for a free jar. The picked yellow pepper slices are also extremely good. I buy the big jar and we put them on just about everything we eat.
Kudos to them and I would love to attend the pickle drop, packing my own hot sauce but I don't purchase any of their products because they don't sell hot pickles! Van Holten, Ms Kine, Best Maid or a tasty gas station hot pickle from the community jar is how I roll. There's nothing like a good hot pickle sweat to keep me chomping one down and sucking wind.
Very impressive operation here. I was curious if I had any Mt Olive products while I was watching the video, looked in the fridge and sure enough, Mt Olive Gherkins in there!
I love Mt. Olive products; I guess there are none I haven't tried. For grins, I just got up and counted; I have 9 jars at the moment, including sweet and dill pickles, candied jalapenos, relish, pimentoes, and gherkins. Vlasic doesn't even come close to being as good. What a great video. I think I'll go get a pickle!
Thanks for the video. I have had your pickles and they are great. It was nice to see how they are made and also know that you are not some large company that makes several different products. Being a locally grown company specializing in one product is why you are so good!
I give kudos to the whole team that make those wonderful pickles . I live in Alabama and got to have those dill slices on my burger , bbq and just a few extra on the side . I like using the relish in potato salad and it's just plain good . Thank you for those extra good pickles :)))
I hauled glass into that plant twice a day for several years. Show up for the Pickle Drop on New Years Eve! Great bunch of people. Hello Marcus!!!!
Who the hell thought id be watching a video about pickles? I like it. Lol
I gave this video a thurrrrrrrrough watching.

Truckers don't get enough love, thank you for what you do!
Sounds like they are a pleasure to dill with.

They sound like a 10/10 company to work for and their pickles are top notch.
I work for them, kinda chill in there. Work wise is kinda hard.
Dunkey brought me here. His video though didn't do the pickles enough justice. This is definitely award-winning content
for real, my journey exactly
Same. this is amazing
I needed more pickle content, straight from the vine
Mount Olive pickles have great variety of products. But they a great sweet little gherkins product
Finally a product still made in the USA!
And dependent on a diverse labor force from field to finished product. Many will probably be deported.
