I write good reviews for restaurants, and hotels, all the time. When staff genuinely care they need to have it publicly acknowledged! If someone really stands out I write a letter, you never know what a difference it might make in their life. People have done it for me, so paying it forward. :)

Totally. I have a couple of regular pharmacies I’ve been to the past few years (I pick up a regular prescription for myself and some for a few unwell family members quite often) and both times I did it I came in and they got all bashful and asked me if it was me, pointing to a copy of it pinned up on the wall the next day.
It’s really lovely to show your appreciation for those who deserve it and do it in an appreciated way. I’ve only ever written a bad review to something like twice, and it was in extreme circumstances.
I always write positive reviews as well and try to never write negative ones despite the experience. I like how my phone automatically brings up the "Were you here today? Leave a review and answer some questions!" thing on Google! It reminds me to leave a reviews like 90% of the time. I only leave bad reviews after going to the business twice. If I have the same or a similar bad experience both visits, I will 100% leave a bad review. Not the 1st visit because I understand things happen and people have bad days, I completely get that. If it happens twice on two completely separate visits, it's clear thats how the business is run and its also clearly their standard. I never say "don't go here!" I actually say the opposite. Something like "hopefully this review contributes to the changes they need to make here so when you go here, your experience is different. I plan to try them again if I see more positive reviews in the future." I don't ever want to stop a business from getting customers but they do need to know there is a problem and patrons deserve to know what they might experience in order to make an informed decision of where their money is going. Especially if it's something like a hotel where they will be at for days or a restaurant for people planning an important celebration. Thats why the good reviews are just as important! If I'm planning something special I want to see as many good reviews as I can!!
In class I'd always take the full hour to walk the mile, always told my teacher I wasn't great runner. (I was just lazy)
My teacher wouldn't let me pee before running the mile, was the one time I ran the mile. Crossed finished, turned on foot and kept running straight to bathroom. Took me 9 minutes and was never able to get away with being lazy again. T.T

2:20 I had a person posing as an architect / Interior Designer share super beautiful pix of a room "he" had done. We reverse image searched and figured out that the work was not his. When confronted, he kept getting tangled in his web of lies. Needless to say, we did not hire him.
There was a politician in Scotland called Kezia Dugdale, who used to post lies in social media and HER DAD used to call her out for them on the posts lol too funny

Re: Yelp reviews. I always write up positive experiences for Yelp. When I go out to eat, I try to support the local restaurants and I don't forget the good ones after I go home. Please God, the pandemic will be over before I croak, so I can eat out again.

I feel like that last one wasn't a lie though. They didn't say it was their first day off of work in four weeks, they said it was the first day they had to themselves. If they were just on a vacation, that may be very true cuz it's not likely you get a whole day to yourself while on vacation with your family xD As an introvert, I felt that post completely lol
Yea the Sam Smith one didn't make sense to me either. Cuz in the first post he says he cant come out tonight. Then in the next post which was the same day he said he had the best night ever at a karaoke bar. It was only 8 in the morning so im assuming he was talking about the night before. So he could have went out the night before and then said he wont be able to go out that night. Or it could even have been an older picture. He didn't say it was from that night.

One of my most favorite part of your videos is when you sing, your voice is to awesome.

My best friend's old neighbor is a compulsive liar. Her bf even warned us not to believe a word she says. Many in person lies and tons online. One of my fave online lies was when she made a post saying, "we bought our first house!" And she posted a photo of just the front door. Very carefully, not to include the next apartment door. 😂 She had all these likes and comments of congratulations.. when she did not in fact purchase her first home. And yes, I commented on the post saying, "I thought you rented the apartment next door to so and so.." 😆 There was another one about how she was signing up for college courses to be a psychiatrist. I commented and asked, "how does when get into college without a high school diploma, or ged?" She messaged me, just to let me know she had to delete the post, because her employer wasn't aware she didn't graduate! There are more. As well as your typical #nomakeup and #nofilter, but those are two of my faves.

Not sticking up for her, but I got into university without finishing high school. I applied when I was in my 20's and all I had to do was write an essay. I'm in New Zealand so I don't know anything about the process overseas, but yes it is possible to get into university without finishing high school.

I can honestly say I've never lied on social media. Some might say I'm too honest. I don't see the point in lying. You will get caught eventually, and it will cause more trouble than if you had just told the truth in the first place.

Regarding chicken nuggets. Look up “pink slime”. The process is somewhat similar to what the poster said about the tubby custard machine. I think they put different parts of the chicken like ribs and other parts where it’s difficult to pull the meat from bones into a spinner similar to a dryer with holes and add a chemical to separate the meat from bones.

When my brother was in the army he told me they had to run 4 minute miles during PT
A 4 minute mile is one of the "reasonable" goals that runners shoot for. It's not impossible. It is unlikely that you'd be able to run a 4 minute mile after taking a week off from running, though, as the person in the clip stated they had. The Army would push for a 4 minute mile, but I don't know if it'd be required to graduate from Boot.
