I realized while filming this that I am guilty of humble bragging...😂
We all like to toot our own horn on occasions, in more ways than one😉😁👏🍑
😂😂😂😂
That you/we do.... 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Yeah but you are like the shit like 👍🏽 ❤️❤️❤️🏳️🌈
I think we can forgive you Charlotte, you're amazing😂
I worked with a woman that was always bragging. She always seemed to be telling everyone how beautiful she considered herself. One day she stated that when she was younger she would literally stop traffic when she walked down the street. I told her I had the same problem when I was young, but then learned to look both ways before crossing the street. She was not happy with me, but the lady working across from me seemed to nearly fall over laughing.
😂😂😂
Need to remember that one
Ooooooo! That is awesome!
😂😂😂

I had a friend in high school who said she wished she could be a librarian one day but that she couldn't because "they don't let people who look like models be librarians because it would distract the people trying to read." My mom and I laughed about that comment for years.
Then you could have said as a response don't worry you don't have that problem
@@Reshme77 🤣👌
Lmao…. I work in libraries and I had a coworker whom women will come to see so she might be right 😂😂🤣 jk… idk why people think all librarians old and ugly and people I work with are far from ❤️
Wow, she was full of herself big time.
@@nautical81 do you belong on this list??? Lmao I think you might just fit the bill.
You know, I’m in AA and we brag in the opposite direction... “well I’VE been HOMELESS!”... “oh ya well I DIED” .... “oh I’ve died TWICE”.... lmao
Lol, so true.
Lol yessss! 😄
yup!!! NA too lol
Or, or, "IVE DRANK SO MUCH BAD COFFEE THAT THIS COFFEE ACTUALLY TASTES PRETTY GOOD"
You do it to make yourself important or interesting, so a reverse humble brag is pretty much the same as the original one.
🤣🤣🤣so, true
Not to brag but I was able to pay my bills this week and still had 15 dollars leftover. #blessed
Did I do it right?
🤣 That's actually pretty good.
Thank you thank you. I'm here until I die. You can catch me in random youtube comments.
Hahah this comment made me laugh so hard. 😂 it was the “did I do it right?” At the end for me. Well done.
Omg no you are still rich wth?! $15?! I am green with envy at your richness 😭 I hope one day this can be fortunate to humble brag in the comments 😭😭 TEACH ME YOU MLM SECRETS PLEASEEEE 😂😂
@@bethlamb6615 well all you have to do is sign up and by 200 dollars worth of useless product that you'll end up keeping and then you can "run your own buisness!" It's that easy and it's not a pyramid scheme I sweaaaaar.
I recently sat by an older lady at church and commented on her huge diamond. She was immediately embarrassed and hid her hand. She explained that it's something she loves and her husband was happy to give it to her. She's the sweetest and I love her even more for loving what she loves without needing to brag.
"I still can't believe I pulled up to prom in my corvette." Don't worry about it dude, nobody else believes it either.

The guy with the Ice cream is real Walter Mitty he's been called out a few times on YMH for lying lol
With most of them I just though: "If that is an issue for you, you are just incapable of living without assistance."
I mean, there's no shame in that, but pretending to be unable to come to very simple solutions in order to brag? These people don't even need to be ridiculed, they are doing at great job on that on their own.
The girl with the English teacher mom wrote that ig post really badly for being someone that’s able to read Shakespeare “effortlessly”
she's the female version of an incel...they tend to believe they are amazing but havent succeeded because [randomly generated reason]

Even tho English isn't my first language, knowing how strict our primary school English teacher was like when it came to grammar, and that we had to make no beginner mistakes (like she had in post "english, i,...."), seeing that not even English speaker cares about it sometimes, makes me a little bit angry.
You wouldn't know her mom was an English teacher from that post....
Also, what the hell does "fixing a lamp" have to do with your parents being a doctor and teacher?
Maybe her brother is an electrical engineer? 🤣
Trying to be quirky maybe
Does changing a bulb count as fixing a lamp?

Anyone working in a healthcare field is not going to wear a giant ring like that at work
I recently worked with a nurse with a gawd-awful large tacky ring. I work the floor and only wear a necklace.
I also wouldn't wear any dangling jewelry.
You never know if a patient might have an episode and rip your jewelry off.
Especially if you work in the Psych Ward.
I don't know if that person worked in healthcare. Looked like their kitchen.
First thing that I thought of too, next thought? She must be a cleaner..😂
That was in a house. Stove.
As someone who wears lots and LOTS of pairs of gloves a day at work, I can vouch that tears happen. That said, gloves don’t tear in that pattern. She legit pinched the vinyl above the ring and pulled until it broke open. Someone needs validation, right?! Lol
Pretty pathetic. She went and got an education to still feel validation from being engaged 🙄
I was thinking the same thing. I saw that little round flap and thought, "uh-huh." 😝
Let's pretend for a second that the rock did it, and that this is a common problem. We all know this isn't the case, but let's humor her for a second. Then why wouldn't you just take it off while at work? I used to work in aircraft maintenance, and it was dangerous to wear jewelry to work. All the married folk (myself included) would take off our ring and put it in our locker at the beginning of the day and then put it back on at the end of the day. Hell, even when I worked in retail I took my ring off when folding towels because the setting kept pulling the strings.
(If your SO can't understand a practical reason for taking your ring off during work hours, it's not gonna last)
Had a coworker that always complained that the gloves just couldnt fit over her oh so big, very expensive ring almost daily. She'd make a big show of removing it and acting frustrated about how big it was. And kept saying that she was going to ask her husband to get her a much smaller one like the other girls working here. That way she can actually wear gloves and not rip them.... 😑 its a shame. The ring was pretty, but she was so ugly on the inside.
I turn my ring around, not because it big but because it’s uncomfortable
I could wear 800 dollars worth of clothes-all I have to do is put on every clothing item I own. Including scarves.
Lol, brilliant.
😄

And that one special coat that you only wear when it's super cold but try not to because it was really expensive but you feel bad because you want to use it since it cost so much.

Kid I knew in high school was given a brand new Lexus. Two months later it snowed and he totalled it in the ditch at the end of my street coming down the steep ass hill from the rich neighborhood. (Yes, in my hometown the rich are literally above you). A week later they bought him a new one in red...I'm sure he learned a valuable lesson in safety and consequences...
When I was in middle school a boy in my class was always breaking his cell phones&getting new ones. Meanwhile we were like 12&cellphones were a luxury item.

I have sympathy for her, but not empathy. I can't relate, because that does *not* , sadly, happen here. Closest thing I've experienced, was my mom and I accidentally discovering, years ago, that our hunky local firemen would change in public near our house (at 4:30 P.M., on Tuesdays, and by some strange coincidence we'd have errands to run at that time and I still remember -- so, that was fun).

I always crack up when moms post "My kid is the most important thing in the world to me!" with a photo where they are all dolled up in the perfect pose and the kid is blurry and out-of-focus. Clearly the kid was just an excuse for a selfie.
A close friend of mine told me about a guy she knew who moaned about having to choose between two different parties to attend. When she suggested that he go should go first to the party where he doesn't know people, then excuse himself and end up at the second party where he knows more people, he looked at her aghast and said no, he couldn't do that. She asked why not, to which he replied: "Because, unlike me, you are not in the public eye". She never hung out with him ever again.

When someone braggs like that all I picture in my mind is a plumber driving home from work or a turkish family driving trough Europe on their way to see Grandma.
I tend to buy German cars for that exact reason, they last. When I was in Germany, almost every taxi I used was a C Class Merc. If it can put up with that usage, it's got to be good, so I bought one (second hand) and it was great. :-)

@SA S I guess I agree to disagree. To me the humble brag part isn't that he is proud of his career. Or that he is proud of his son. The floyd maywether one doesnt strike me as bragging at all, i found it super wholesome 😊😊😊
@@barbarahayes7441 i didnt intepret it like that, but i get it
@@barbarahayes7441 Yeah, he totally did. "This is my son, but....Look at MEEEEEE!!!"
Floyd probably was genuine with his bragging...
nah that was his son's achievement that he walked all over.
@@kidneycarecoaching3766 yeah, he was a genuine dick. no arguments here.
You know the girl with the doctor dad and English teacher mom's story is so relatable though. I know there are worse situations to be in growing up but it does genuinely screw up some kids. All the expectations and nothing to show for it because you're too scared if failure. Though it's not exclusive to kids with over achieving parents, that's true.
Most teenagers go through a time when they feel confused about who they are. It has nothing to do with her parents' success. The poor girl, floundering about, confused as to who she is while reading Shakespeare "fluently" and diagnosing as well as treating minor ailments. She seems to believe that her parents' accomplishments have somehow transfered to her. She needs to be set straight. Her parents worked hard to become successful, and she doesn't get to claim she is anywhere near a doctor or a teacher just because they are. Someone needs to explain to her that education is non-transferable.
Uh... HK doesn't block Twitter. China does. This sounds like someone who has never stepped out of their country, or even their city, once.

Even Singapore doesn't block twitter

I married a man I began stalking (not really but maybe a little bit) who wore a McDonald's uniform. Still the most gorgeous man ever, 21 years later. 😊
Once went out for drinks with my sister and some friends. Some random guy comes up humble bragging about his 4 thousand dollar jacket and says "You can touch it if you'd like". Never saw a humble bragger cry so hard when my sister "accidently" spilled her drink as she reached for it 🤣
That's gold, right there. Years ago, I had a friend whose leather jacket was very soft. Random people would pet him. He and another friend found this so weird, they decided to have some fun. After someone would exclaim, "Oh! Nice jacket", he would say, "Thanks. It's whale foreskin." Many people would reply, "Ooooh...."

😂😂🤣🤣
When my baby sister was in 1st grade, she had a faux black and white winter fox coat.
A girl her age kept petting it and asked what it was made of.
My sister lifted her head up regally and said, "It's skunk".
The girl took her hand off of that jacket like it gave her a lightning strike, made a face and said, "Eewww". 😂🤣
Everyone there busted out laughing.

4:33 is just a windy way of saying “my parents were very successful and My adulthood is just one big face-plant.”
Chances are the kid is very insecure. S/he has parents who have degrees in advance schooling and she has to live up to that and probably think s/he can't.

You do the humble bragging act so well! This is hysterical :)
When I was younger I used to humble brag, but it was never about my family's wealth or my popularity. It was always about my unique experiences growing up that not many other kids my age had. I'm an amateur novelist, and the first stories I wrote (before I learned to operate a computer) I wrote on my dad's (family's) typewriter, one of the two we owned. My dad is an engineer (technically an electrical engineer but he can do just about anything it seems) and he built us a seesaw that was not only about 6 feet high but also spun around. My dad taught me to weld when I was a preteen to help him make the drawbridge door of our shed that we built from scratch after tearing down the old one so we didn't need ramps for the lawnmower. My family was never 'big money' and I've never been one of the popular kids, but I've had a childhood that's very different and unique from most, and I'm proud of that (perhaps a little more than I should be).
Edit: Wasn't trying to brag but I guess I did when trying to explain what I bragged about. I did have an amazing childhood, mostly because of my wonderful parents. It was a combination of new and exciting fun things (typewriters, spinning seesaw, a wooden swing my dad made) and hard work to both maintain our property and build it up. We used to call the weekends Labor Camp actually because we were always working on something or other. I'm not usually bothered by heights, but every time we've had to work on the roof (patching damage, shingle replacements, and most recently a gable extension) I was rather disconcerted.
I think that's cool! There's nothing wrong with being proud, especially of your family. It's more like you're excited and grateful.
I laughed so hard at the Pinkberry one...and over and over again, SO funny! 🤣
I was impressed he said all that in ONE sentence!
Anyone else who just focussed on that pigeon?!
I thought you meant the neon flamingo in the background 🤔
Also the alien popping from the doorway at the beginning of the video, lol😂😂😂

Guys this is like literally not a story of "bruh"
I can actually relate because my parents were also both doctors and because of that from a young age I was told to persuade the job of doctor too
Because of that till the time I was told to choose my college I didnt even knew what I liked and what I wanted to be and for the fact my parents wanted me to continue their path I too had to choose medical
I love how you imitate rich snobs, their phoney talking, and how they act like when they think they making a decision on what kind of car they want to buy are real life problems, lol. You crack me up, and I love watching you imitate their selfish, entitled asses! Keep up the good work.
I worked with a woman who was ALWAYS humble bragging about how perfect her son was, he always got straight A’s, his teachers and peers all loved him, he was so good at sports, he never got in trouble, etc. I was so sick of it that one day I looked at her and said “you know, a lot of serial killers were perfect as children and everyone loved them.” I never heard another word. Lol
Floyd Mayweather is genuinely proud of his son's achievement, he isn't bragging.
Yeah and himself. And honestly he deserves it. It's hard to escape poverty, but he did very well for himself and now his son has done very well for himself. I know that in a lot of circles we are socialized to believe that high school is no big deal, but for a lot of people it really is. Honestly for some people graduating Middle School is a big deal. But now, after a long career and 13 years of school Floyd Mayweather has a $450 million net worth (the richest boxer in the world) and his son has graduated high school. I can understand how she would think that this was a humble brag, especially in comparison to the rest of them, but honestly good for the both of them. They have worked hard and they deserve their achievements
I think it was included cause it kinda looks like he one upped his own son. Like why talk about your own achievements when it's your son's day?
Yes he was. He was saying I didn't have to graduate to become a multimillionaire.........
@@alidavideo I don't think he was trying to one up him but rather just to take that moment to appreciate how far his sacrifice had taken them and maybe just be proud that he was able to give his child the childhood that he never had.
@@jille5458 that's so stupid. that's not what he was saying at all. him not graduating wasn't much of a choice, it was because of his circumstances. it's not like he KNEW that he'd become a multimillionaire by not going to school. he worked hard for it and he deserved it. he didn't even say anything about his financial status, he literally talked about wanting to pull his family out of poverty. geez.
Just imagine being SO SHALLOW, you think a tote bag is going to impress people. Want to impress me? Do something impressive!
Exactly! I don't care about expensive stuff, more so about anyone owning them. If i like something and I can afford it sure, I'll buy it. Buying something cause of what brand it is or trend (and how expensive it is just to show off) is ridiculous to me
@@karolina285 Agree! Quality of product over trend or status. I'll buy a product for it's lasting quality, pay a bit more if necessary. Most cheaper products are just as good as name brands.
Those that try to impress over trends need psychological help. There's something lacking in their life.
