Even though they lost, Melbourne’s last quarter was one of the best team performances I’ve seen. What a comeback. Insane efforts by Petracca, Viney, Gawn etc. Trac had an incredible game.

Let’s be real here…Melbourne had a great come back, but you can’t just turn up for a quarter and think you can win it… Carlton went hard all night and were wrecked in the 4th whilst Melbourne still had another quarter of footy in them because they didn’t turn up. Had they played it all out, scores would’ve been the same regardless…

The umpires were clearly biased in their favour last night. They won the game because of the umpires, and their fans still have the audacity to complain about the umpiring. Very strange supporter base the scumbaggers.
Neutral footy follower for this game. Both sides got a few doubtful free kicks but that happens in every game every week.
In the first half Carlton was getting them as they were playing in front and in the second half, Melbourne had their body over the ball more so they stood to be the one inftinged.
I can't recall exactly who but Melbourne had a couple of posters that would have made a difference but inaccuracy has always had consequences.
The "dangerous tackle" is really a 50/50 case. Carlton bloke quite clearly ducks the heas the instant the tackle was applied . Play on should have been the call.

Worse than when Petracca coaled from 55m to win the game and the umpire called touch. It's a common pattern now. The worse team won.
