Lol Ricky is the man. His roster isn’t the greatest but he’s happy to teach these young lads. To Siebs defense, he was never a halfback or five eighth. Ricky was so makes sense for their success so far.

@@chinmayhejmadi7902 I was going to reply that a touch by an opposing player in flight invalidates the goal, but I thought I'd better look it up to be sure, and it turns out that I'm wrong!
"A drop goal shall be awarded notwithstanding that the ball touches or has been touched in flight by an opposing player..."
...so now I don't know what the "controversial finish" comment was all about....

No it was disallowed because of a dolphin player changing his direction to block a defender. The kick would’ve stood otherwise

That changed in 1998. Matthew Ridge got suspended in a 1999 game for grabbing the ref trying to argue that he touched a Balmain field goal attempt (he did, but it didn't change anything)@@BrettGrady-vf4kx

He’s highly overrated. They commentators love him because he ‘lets the game flow’, which is another way of saying he lets infringements go. Generally the 10 is not policed well these days.
Manly made a massive mistake. Should of kept Weekes, to be mentored by DCE. Then he could ultimately take over from DCE. Instead Manly signed overrated and older Brooks, who can't do anything great on his own.

Dan Ginnane calling is so terrible. C'mon NRL you spend a lot of money on players and staffs and you think Dan Ginnane's calling deserves to continue? Ordinary Australians can call better than Dan. NRL needs to re-visit Ray Warren, or listen to Warren Smith who throws a lot of idioms, metaphors, and figurative expressions. Remember "You can take me now, I have seen it all"; and the Manly try "Who.....goes.....there....Tom...T...rbo...je.....vic." many more that gives that extra energy to the game making you want to jump up just from the sound of the caller. Please don't let Dan Ginnane call any Roosters' game.

Look at 2 minute mark in this video, dolphins flung a meter forward and didn't force the ball, dolphins gifted a try by the referees. Shocking decision by the referees. Yet raiders still won.
@@HM-ss4jd If the Raiders can do a swing arm on a Dolphins player and get away with it from the banker and the ref and when the ref says a Raiders player touches the field goal when the Ref is 30 m away I don't think you can say much!
Could argue that Averillos try was a wrong call because the raider grounded the ball in the in goal albeit unintentionally but grounded none the less

Phins were legit robbed. The cheating and corruption is becoming more and more blatant. My sons love for the game and enjoyment from watching that games together is the only thing keeping me involved. I would otherwise never watch another NRL game for as long as I live. Betting companies literally sponsor the nrl. Games are being "massaged" for excitement and who knows what else.. and most fans don't want to admit it. It'll come back to bite them and these same fans will swear they knew all along 😂
